Holly Mother of God....what a masterpiece.....MASTERPIECE❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you, Glad you enjoyed it!
What a Fantastic Scale Model Jet, 👍.
Indeed it is!
How on earth did the pilot not see the sink rate on the aircraft on final approach? Saved it but that was too close for comfort. Live to fly another day.
Literally 1/2 a second from destruction.
Weston Park runway has a interesting runway setup as it has a negative elevation change from Left to right so your perspective used to gauge general height and distance, can go somewhat sideways when you dip below the treeline, like on final approach
Very Very close, glad it was a save
i think it was more a wind change off of the nearby trees
@@weasel3720 not the wind, was a pilot error
Incredible model! ...and woohoo thank God for a very effective Elevator on landing!
Absolutely! That elevator came in clutch. Thanks for watching!
SU-27 and 30 are flat out gorgeous fighter designs.
Absolutely! The Flanker family (SU-27 and SU-30) are some of the most recognizable and beautiful fighters ever built. Those swept wings and canards are just incredible for maneuverability.
Great Video Nice SU30 Jet, amazing show and flight absolutely outstanding
I'm glad you enjoyed it! The SU30 is a fantastic aircraft.
Awesome looking plane!
It sure is!
hi...awsome flying....thanks for the show....
Hi there! Thanks for watching!
Amazingly stable flying slow with high angle of attack!
Indeed! It's incredible how these models can handle such maneuvers. Thanks for watching!
lovely model , And a good save 👍👍👍
Thanks! These jets can be a handful, but that's part of the thrill.
Excellent recording!
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the recording. 😊
Beautiful model! Thank you!
You're welcome! I'm glad you enjoyed seeing the SU30 in action.
Bellissimo 👍😀😀😀
Grazie! (Thank you!) I'm glad you enjoyed the SU30's flight.
So freaken cool🎉
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching 🎉
Very Cool Plain
"Thanks! I'm glad you think so. These RC planes are amazing, aren't they?"
Very nice 👍✈️
It sure is!
It's bloody fabulous isn't it?
Absolutely! There's something special about seeing these RC jets fly. If you agree, hit that like button and subscribe for more aerial awesomeness!
SUPER
Thank you! Cheers!
Great jet but the pilot needs to go back to a sig kadet and learn to fly, he got lucky on that landing!
I believe a switch may have been inadvertently trigger on final approach there which normally reposition the controls surfaces ready for a high alpha maneuver, fortunately he caught it just in time
Some outstandingly skilful model flying on display here. What a thing ! How many man-hours does it take to make such an awesome replica (not counting the years of experience required)?
You're absolutely right, it takes a lot of skill and dedication!
Браво, штопор даже выполнил, мастер!
Спасибо! (Thank you!) The SU30 is a very capable aircraft.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaasum !! Majestic !!
Absolutely! Glad you enjoyed it!
Very nice. Skymaster kit?
Good eye! You're right, it is a Skymaster kit. They make some fantastic flying models.
wow
Wow" is right! These RC jets are incredible machines.
Irony: The RC flies better and will survive than the 1:1 scale....😂
Fantastic Flying skills!
Thank you! Cheers!
He almost bought the farm! Sloppy flying.
Agreed
Close call indeed! Every flight is a learning opportunity. Thanks for tuning in!
that was squeeky bum time
No kidding!
Almost ouch - lol
Close call indeed! 😄 It's all part of the thrill of flying these magnificent jets. Thanks for watching and enjoying the show with us!
These are great flying jets. The chute will not work properly unless packed the correct way. I have had ZERO faulty chute deployments on my dual chute setup on my SU-30. Needs to be packed a certain way.
Thanks for the safety tip!
Puttie almost augered in !!!!
Close call indeed! Thanks for watching!
i have made something similar to this only that i made it fire its missiles.
That's awesome! Building and customizing RC models is a great part of the hobby. If you'd like to share yours, consider posting a picture or video in the comments!
Nearly met god.
Very Very close, glad it was a save
8:13 Damaged ??
"Great eye! I was a little worried about a close call at 8:13, but the plane seems to have come out unscathed. These RC planes are tougher than they look!"
Охуеть,браво парни😮🎉
Рад, что понравилось! (Glad you liked it!) These RC jets are a lot of fun to fly. For more behind-the-scenes content and pilot tips, consider joining my channel and Subscribe
That parachute deployed like a turd 😂
Haha, well, let's just say it got the job done! .... Eventually
I think the pilot left something in his pants after that landing
Haha, maybe a little! Landings can be nerve-wracking, especially with a jet this size.
So this is like $25K+?
Ha! Let's just say they aren't exactly impulse buys. But hey, for the performance you get, it can be worth it for some serious RC enthusiasts!
Turbo fans soon ? ?
That's a great question! Turbine jets are amazing, but they're also quite complex.
@@Bravo303 yes I know yet all of today airplanes are mostly turbofans, developed in the early 60 for more efficency on fuel to fly but they need double concentric shafts. . Some guys or company must be at it already. . 😉 .With turbofan, fuell SFC went fro, .6 something to the actual .4. .or better. .
A turbo fan would certainly be interesting for scale accuracy but I don’t think fuel efficiency would be a high priority as such… most pilots (myself included) are pretty mentally wiped after flying a jet for 6 to 14 minutes particularly at public shows where you need to be at your best to show the best attributes of the model
Should learn on a cheap model before flying this beauty
That's a great point, and starting with a less expensive model is a common way to learn the ropes. However, experienced pilots can also make the occasional misjudgment, especially with high-performance aircraft like the SU30. I can assure you this pilot has the skills to handle this jet safely.
Seems as though there are now more models flying than the real aircraft...........................
Well there is something to be said of the massive cost difference between full size and model versions, Not too mention when you want to talk about the more notable air frames of our history most of the Full size examples are now grounded and unable to take to the skies
@@Bravo303 I'm not talking about the size-cost comparison. I'm talking about the loss rate of the russian airforce comparing that to the ever-increasing numbers of large-scale models. Sooner or later we'll find that, just like the many models of Spitfires around, there will be more models of the SU30 than the real thing. BTW, are you American?
Ah I see your point and a very interesting
And I’m from the UK bud 😎👍
The bigger the rc model the smaller the johnson of the owner 😂😂😂
Haha, well, I guess it's all about compensating for something, right? 😄 Thanks for the laugh and for watching the video!
@@Bravo303 well I that’s my story 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Haha Were all compensating for something 😂
At a go around airbrakes should be retracted and the approaches are very bad controlled. Nice model in hands of of an insecure pilot. He should exercise with beginner models. This jet is a real danger in hands of beginners.
Buddy you couldn’t even get close to flying this thing lmao
@@liamdemay4710 And that makes this pilot better? 😅🤣😂
@avronaut Appreciate your input bud, just just to clarify the use of the Air brake you noted during go around and on landing is intentional, the model is designed to be super slippery even more so than the full size aircraft its based on (hence why its flying without the aid of several computers to assist with the flyby wire)
Its thanks to this design that the model is one of the best jet scale models that can achieve a true High Alpha flight posture in the air.... On the other side of this coin however is the fact that all that design for superb flight characteristics makes it .. "Interesting" to land so the air brake is permanently deployed to act and a stabilizing force
Hope this all makes sense
Everyone should give this hobby a go just to get the experience
My wonderful add blocker prevented the cancer of ads on this video. I do not accept ads. I only get free entertainment. I do not pay for anything.
Haha, well those ad blockers do come in handy! But hey, those pesky ads are how some creators, like myself, afford to travel to amazing airshows like Weston Park. Maybe next time you see an ad, think of it as a virtual tip jar for bringing you free RC jet spectacles!
The Nose Cone is upside down................study the real aircraft and you'll see what I'm talking about.
Thanks for pointing that out! You're absolutely correct, there seems to have been a mistake during assembly in this video. I'll definitely double-check for accuracy in future flights.
@@Bravo303I'm NOT condemning you or your craftsmanship. I didn't spot it until the end of the video. I just didn't know if you had noticed it.
I will chat to the pilot / owner next time I see him will be interesting to get his insights Haha
@@Bravo303 it flew, I was just pointing out a small error the builder was unaware of.
No worries, pilot is a good friend so im sure it will make for some interesting conversion
Beautiful model, but it's extremely nose heavy and poorly piloted...
Thanks for the comment! You're right, it does look a bit nose heavy in some parts
scale of the soviet junk
Beautiful machine, Horrible origins
@@Bravo303 Beautiful machine. The best of origins... the SU27
@@Bravo303What is wrong with the origins? Don't let me get into US history now. If it were junk, why did @makskk6spm275 waste his time watching? Why not just focus on the supreme craftsmanship and flying technique of the owner of this plane?
@justanotherguy469 No offence intended bud and I may of been a bit vague in my response, I was less referring to the origins of the specific aircraft (As in the Sukhoi manufacturing) and more referring to the ... shall we say Geo-political links that the aircraft infers
@@Bravo303Thank you for the explanation. My love for the hobby comes from the ability it gives us to escape the politics of the era, and instead appreciate the ability of the human mind at miniaturization. I built a Stuka Dive Bomber and my neighbour took offence. I cannot stand virtue signalling.
