The purple chips is real without color, made with „blaue st.galler kartoffeln“ from Switzerland, St.Gallen is a region here and this kind of blue potatoe (kartoffel in german) is the most common here. Itˋs one of the best for the climate in this region, with good amount of harvest so itˋs interesting for big producers. But it´s not sweet, itˋs a regular potatoe taste. I grow them myself in my garden but recognize this chips because I‘m living next to the factory they make them, deeeelicious😁

This is the funpart of european food .there have been so many empires and regions that there is no particular food to one country but more to a region that has you might say differnt accents or dialects of food . And austria used to be a huge european nation , that had many differetn style foods. the Austro-hungarian empire contained austrian, hungarian polish , czech , slovakian . parts of romania, kroatia , venice slovenia .bosnian countries . there is a lot to enjoy from that country. as its a real mix of cultures. even some ottoman foods that got on during the Austrian-hungarian ottoman wars.

The purple/blue potato chips may be made with Peruvian Blue potatoes.
I'm with you, Shinichi, about the rice cakes back in the day. I _really_ tried hard to like them, but just couldn't. lol
I love marzipan if it's not too sweet. I add marzipan to my macaroons which makes them very moist, less sweet, and more complex in flavor.
The purple floral candy may be candied violets. Do the ingredients include a word similar to _veilchen,_ which is violets in German, I believe? Flower candies are usually a bit soapy tasting to me, but I love them as a garnish on certain desserts.
Thanks for another fun and tasty video! And thanks to Peter for the treats!
