I have nerve damage and can’t stand any around my wrist. I bought the watch not for the things most people use it to monitor. I have an attachment on one side of the wrist strap that attaches to a lanyard I can wear around my neck and under my shirt. If I fall I can have my emergency contact called and notified. I have reminders set for daily tasks and meds. I have the cellular so I don’t need to carry my phone if I leave the house. I can get home if I’m confused and panic. It also sends my son a text if my location changes to outside of my house. It’s more for me an assistant to keep me on track, a supervisor that allows me to move around more alone on my own with features to help if needed. After I wrote Apple because the screen is hard to see, I found out that people working in the medical field can’t wear a watch while working and try to pin theirs to their clothes. So more of a pocket watch than a wrist watch.
We haven't heard any rumors of a HomePod mini update, so we're not expecting one soon. It has been a while, though. I'm guessing they'll update it later next year when Apple Intelligence has momentum in the general public. By then, Apple might have figured out how to implement it in a HomePod. But I'm guessing! I don't have any inside info
I have big wrists and so I welcome and like the larger Ultra. I would actually like it even slightly larger.

That's an ingenious way to use the Apple Watch!
@@romansemprie Thank you for the uplifting message!
When will the HomePod Mini at least get an updated chip?
