Just purchased my RX7 it's on order I can't wait I injured a shoulder few years back had to have surgery then I got back in Law Enforcement so not much time or money but just got on with a good department that pays pretty good for Oklahoma and I have few days in a row off depending our work schedule so I can't want for 2023 season to roll around to get back to archery.
I purchased a RX 7 Ultra Bone collectors 80 pound limbs I’ve shot Hoyt for almost 30 years but I have to say this was my best bow.l have been watching you guys for about as long lol
I’ve always just used A 30-30 hunting for deer here in Tennessee but I put a crossbow on layaway last weekend and this year I’ll be going after em with a bow for the first time. I’ve watched your show for so long man haha. I’m 17 and I can remember getting the first season of Bone Collector when I was really young. Just wanted to say thanks for always being an inspiration and showing how to stay true to your roots and staying true to doing what you love 🤙🏼
During the setup with T-Bone you mentioned doing a video hunt with recurves. A lot of us would really appreciate that. There is a big interest in recurves and long bows. Thank you for your time

Whats up Micheal? Man I been watching you since your beginning, all through Monster Bucks and on your own. I've always felt a closer brotherhood with ya cause you always bow hunted if you could, and that's why I bought those tapes, about half or so of the hunts were with a bow and I had just really got into Bowhunting, I mean addicted. I also liked that you and a few others had the balls to use mechanical heads, even when they were relatively new. I had so much better shot placement with those because some of the fixed heads really sucked and it was 50/50 if you could hit a small spot with some of them. And remember those sniper heads from rocky mountain, I killed a bunch with em after watching you use em in Texas . I shoot a carbon PSE, would shoot a Hoyt starting this year , cause they changed the cam system and stopped using the split yoke on top , I hated that, but now I might have to get one. My carbon PSE is badass though, shoots 300 fps at 65 pounds, with a 400 grain arrow. I'm shooting Rage trypans and I haven't lost one yet with this bow, I call her Lizzy. Thanks for all the years Micheal, hope you give us 30 more, I'll watch it all. And yeah we're brothers, proud to be yours, get em Bowhunter.

Thanks for sharing. I really love the Hoyt line up this year. I can appreciate your keep it simple approach. Great advice on keeping your focus on what really matters. It's all to easy to get side tracked on the wrong things when it comes to hunting. I hope you have a safe and successful hunting season.
Nice set up. I used to work on a archery shop back on the day for archery experts and the compound doctor. I have just recently got back into archery and got my wife into it as well. Hopefully get a deer this year hunting public land.

Great looking bow, was that the bow you gave away 3 weeks ago in your random drawing ? I watched T-Bone & you setting up the bow a couple weeks ago. Good luck this season with the new bow. The TACTACAM looks good too, thinking about trying one myself.
Have you ever tried the EZ-V bow sight? I'm trying it this year, and while I don't plan to count on the "rangefinding" capabilities of the sight, it does seem to work really well.
I have been tempted to give Hoyt a try several times but those carbon risers are made in China. Main reason I stick with Mathews is they are U.S made. Still love this channel though
Hello brother I found out the same about the risers, and I hated the split yoke on top. But I now shoot a carbon PSE, stealth 2019 model, made in USA. I'm shooting 300 fps at 65 pounds, 400 grain arrows and rage trypans. Haven't lost one yet, I call her Lizzy. Haha, hope you have a great season.
"You hunt the way you want to" One of the best pieces of advice you can. Hunt what you can when you can, don't let other people bog you down. If all you can do is hunt rabbits, its better than not being able to!
