The lady is an institution, please convey her that she must open some sort of training institute to transfer her unique way of looking at the things to other students . Best Regards
Truly loved the house and the way the architect explained... lovely
I am from India, and have been bought up in different government homes as all my relatives are govt. Professors and thus houses like these which let sunlight pass, light yellow wall colours, brown wood, the garden, the verandah the windows on the rooftop they all kind of feel so much of my own. Watching your house feels like watching a house of my own cross the border. I love it.
Her concepts about using local material instead of import every thing just coz someone has the money for it is great.
Too good she is... So simple, elegant and practical approach.. Her home is home like, while many houses these days look more like show rooms
The lady having heart in her mind....the message is nothing is ordinary ....I can't even blink eyes on her creativities
Mam ki ke explain kar ne ka tarika bahut acha hai
Aur unki voice to pucho hi na
When someone has seen the world, done all the adventures and come back home, then he/she sounds this mature.... Love 💕
Masha Allah

I m soo inspired with this lady
.soo eloquent in her speech ..the typical urdu words she use are soo relatable..and her house is beautiful and her concept of terrace is very much right.
Exceptionally beautiful and liveable house. Love the emphasis on craft and climate and low carbon footprint. Very impressive and amazing architect.
A beautiful, warm and inviting home. Complimented by it's rustic decor. Last, but not the least, a very sweet, intellectual, appreciative and Empathic architect.
Our local craftsman are true heroes
How peaceful is listening her & the beautiful theme work of her,, superb
Thank you banjaiga for trying to educate us .. Its a treat really.. Have no connection with architect but i feel like she said what most of us think n feel in their hearts.. We make shiny overly dramatic houses bcz we just go with the flow.. If there are architects with approach like her, the focus will shift from over whelming high maintenace houses to simple homes
This house is also very high in maintanance regarding cleaning 😂so many decorative things but yes its a treat to eyes and soothing to aesthetic sense
@@haniaasim7936 true.. I was talking about the structure..no light coloured paints and tiles etc..

@Banjaiga can unpl, share the size of this house? Plus the name of trees planted in this house? My elders don't allow me trees in our home. Saying they damage the property. Can u plz talk about this perspective as well...I will look for ur candid response

Her house is very functional and suitable according to weather .
Her kitchen concept really changed my view of hiding the kitchen .
She is an inspiration to our Eastern living style, with ideas keeping the environment safe
Wow she is extremely knowledgeable and speaks logic.
yes she truly is.
Exactly the same thing my son used to say "why you wasted a big place putting sofas for guests who visit once a year or a month. He wants to put table for tennis in tv lounge. And every single day he argues with me 😢.
After listening you Nabila i think I m convinced ❤
So encouraging with regards keeping our extremely skillful people perhaps in thousands across the nation and their arts & crafts of immense value in design, shape and all made in local materials used. I think it's a great service to expose these extraordinary peoples help build our civilization that we or our forefathers have used in everyday life, without these object life would have hard and lack luster in terms of convenience and usage... Well done, Nabeela Appa for keeping our precious history keeping it afloat that is near distinction.. Hoping that all these articles are displayed in our MUSIUMS and lok virsa places for our new generations exposure.. Many thanks & Tvgc. Sarfaraz A Sheikh.

Shukriya dear Nabeela .
(Over 13 years ago, at a sit down dinner, the iconic architect Charles Correa heard my wistful dream of having a Laurie Baker forever home. So he asked me where my plot of land was. In my head, I replied. )
So if I ever get that transferred from head space to a piece of earth, Inshallah, shall incorporate Nabeela’ principles of building a home. As her name suggests - noble and magnanimous…
No life without Art.
Well said!
Superb designs but the house is too much busy. No free space walls floor each corner of the house is very busy

There is wisdom in traditional design
Do anyone here knw where madam nabeela's office is in lahore ? How to contact her for some architecture project ?
You have cutted out the most important part. The description of the Plan & Layout. Istead of giving repetitive shots of interior, a 2 min of plan layout would have been better.
You should watch the first part
