Nice mold my question is what kind of knowledge is needed to be able to create this design for 3d printing? I create my own baits from clay as a master then to plaster. I lose a lot of detail with this method. I have been trying to make molds from silicone but I haven't come across a good silicone for this.
I guess you will need some basic skills on a 3D modeling tool like fusion 360. It’s like sculpting but you do it in a computer. I have another video that talks about some basic features that are helpful in lure design. There are also tons of tutorials on TH-cam. I find myself constantly learning new tips too. Feel free to drop your questions in comment section or email. I have not tried 3D print the master and make molds from it. If you plan to do that, I would recommend a resin printer which would give you more details, and less visible layer contours.
Thank you for the response. I would like to learn this not too sure how much schooling would be required I would like to do them out of aluminium eventually. I'm sure the design process would be similar.
@@laughinatyou63 try follow my video and slow down pause when necessary (I speed quite a lot in fusion 360). Once you get comfortable, you can start something different. Good luck.
really like that made me think about something for shallow water pike fishing, thanks
