The part that Anton always leaves out is that he didn't pull **** out of the mud....his family is wealthy and that is where he got his seed money to start his realstate business. Whenever anyone...especially a Right Wing BM starts running their mouth about "meritocracy"....it should always raise a Red-Flag because more often than not they are just some poseur like Anton trying to LARP like he is a "self-made-man" or some grifter trying to run a con.

You know what. You’re right. These things did happen. But what good does it do to use that as an excuse. If it failed. Fail better. We know the history not for it to discourage us, but to learn from it and how to do it better. Defend ourselves better. Do it in a place where we can’t be touched. But to say “hey, they won’t let us so I won’t work harder” is essentially giving up and going belly up. If there is anything you can learn from this it’s work harder with the added caveat that you find ways to work smarter.

I also have no issue with women being on panels either, HOWEVER, there should be no more than one woman per panel, because the whole point is supposed to be for them to now listen to us, because they had their times for the past 40+ years via mainstream media who muted our voices to defend their attacks against us. Also, when you have only one woman on a panel, she tends to listen and understand a lot more than when there are two or more because when there's more then one, they tend to automatically go "sisterhood (listen to respond)" and no longer listen to understand.

So the way I see it is the way I viewed Martin and Malcolm in hindsight, and the way they both realized near the end but was too late to see it to fruition. What I am talking about is the reality that there is more than one right answer to most problems. There are multiple paths to a destination. All people don't respond to or are not motivated by the same thing.
To expound, let me say it somewhat differently. Lets say that Anton's method moves 1,000 men to improve and be "better" whatever that means to them, but ultimately, it materializes into a quantifiable "better." Now, if every person moves their group at least one step towards "better," then with each step, "better" changes meaning, and we can have a different conversation towards the common goal.
Too often people get bogged down and distracted by what they disagree with another person about or stuck definding their own approach as the best/only way, when in fact it will take many different approaches to fix our community because there are so many variables and entities working against us.

One of the things that people keep missing is that a lot of people that inhabit spaces that seemingly are against the various forms of oppression and marginalization are often only against the parts that offend them and the demographic they belong to. That said, they are not liberation minded people and they are trying to finagle their way onto the sticks now for their chance to play the game.
They're not trying to dismantle oppressive systems; they're trying to displace who's running and benefitting from them. That's why you can close your eyes and hear the same language and verbiage used.
On one hand, I get it because those systems are extremely successful and profitable to their beneficiaries.
On the other hand, it's problematic and insulting to expect many of us to blindly work to supplant the people and current system, not question the tactics and motivation, only for them to be the new folks at the top of the totem pole and nothing changes for the people they stood on and climbed upon to get there.
We're not ready for the conversation around how all of this stuff is a copycat game. It's like when somebody wins a championship in a sport; the other teams raid the winning team's assistant coaching staff, and try to poach some of the free agents from that team in the hopes that they can bring the same results to their own team and organization.

I agree with a lot of things that you said but I think the single most important thing that you leave out is that, individuals have free will. And in saying that in regards to men and women relationships we have to look at what were the Free Will decisions made by the collective or a significant portion of the population of men and women. To just point out that there have been historical Grievances and there still are is not a good enough argument to minimize what some black men critique about their women.

I've seen it first hand. Rather you're talking blue collar like Long Shore men or white collar like a advertisement exec. One thing I appreciated about doing Uber were the conversations I had with people. And one valuable lesson I took away is wipipo will bet the entire world on a conversation. If they like you based on a conversation they will give you the keys. They don't give a damn about your education. One guy told me he got his first 6 figure job at a party over drinks. He said he talked with the boss for 45 mins and didn't even really discuss the job. No resume. Nothing. Boom, he got the gig. It's crazy.

This is important because it empathizes the importance of relationships and connection....I have been blessed in life and people (of all ethnicities) have helped me. My first two mentors out of college were older conservative minded white people. They were kind and freely shared their knoweledge and wisdom. Much of that was because I was more willing to listen and APPLY the information they were sharing. Our culture at times is resistant to listen, learning, and APPLYING the wisdom that is shared with us. EX...Dave Ramsey has been freely sharing financial literacy advice for TWO DECADES....yet you have TikTokkers an social media influencers telling black people that "Dave Ramseys advice doesnt work for black people"....that's insane. His advice is based on MATH and the numbers dont lie. It has worked for hundreds of thousands of families, yet somehow our culture will deny it will work for us. Its crazy.

Any man with experience with women knows Anton is running game on his wife and his perspective of money is based on him having a vantage point. I'm happy he's in his position economically but him being in that position WITHOUT the general consensus about inequality and blaming Black people's position on their effort makes me despise him.
However he has a daughter, and a wife, his lesson is coming that's the blessing of daughters they bring balance of perspective to fools like this, however it usually happens too late.
