Fiestas are crazy for tuning! Only thing is the stereo system is really old school. Fantastic engines ( well the ecoboosts are )
This had me loling throughout brilliant delivery! The best thing about Calvin's vids (not just this one) is the human aspects. Funny asides, mistakes, flys walking on the trim during the closeups, wheelchairs in the road. Brilliant!

Tinted lights look like shite 9 times out of 10 and cheapen the look of the car. If you're going to tint the lights it has to be subtle and light.

Fiestas are pretty reliable, plenty of people running well over 300+ on standard internals. I see yours is on a 13 plate Calvin, there was a recall on that year due to coolant leaking into the engine block.
St is very reliable but what's wrong with some models and burn the headgasket mate?
@@DimoS... it was a common fault across all the early mk7.5s the coolant pipes would corrode and leak and since the MK7 has no temperature gauge you would unknowingly cook the head gasket. On the ecoboost the head itself would even crack in some cases

I think the lightly smoked LED rear light clusters would look a lot better than those fully black ones.
yeah i agree, i think a light smoke on a lot of cars’ lights looks good. But these proper blacked out ones are the gayest chaviest thing ever, it’s just screams that the car gets redlined from cold start to halfords and back
Personally a fan of the smoked rear lights
ST1, basic stereo, cloth seats
ST2, leather seats and Sony radio
ST3, sat nav and cruise control and keyless entry, digital climate control and electric rear view mirror
Difference in trim levels but some cars come with extras and some without. Probably more differences, I only know what my ST3 has vs an ST2 as that’s what I was looking for when buying.
For example, my ST3 has parking sensors, but I know others do not. Some have a reverse camera etc.
They are a terrible mate

Yeah your right mate these cars are such fun even standard. Ours never got tuned because the head gasket went after 2months which also cracked the head got that fixed then 2months later it started using water again so got sent back but it was mental little car

About 15 years ago I got pulled on the M25 for tinting my rear lights... The cop wouldn't let me go until I scrapped all the paint off the lights... With a stone!

Great honest review. Missed out the theft factor and right about the pops and bangs, as you get older you still wish you could get away with it but you gain more respect for the general public or should, sorry to say but not giving a shit is for teenagers. 😂
If u drove a stage 1 or 2 st you will know how qucik these are coming from a 7.5 r owner, there’s a stage 3 owner on Facebook running 350 runs against golf rs c63 s3 and beats them all
Until you tune the others then it’s game over
OLewis the others are at least twice the price... that’s the point.
IMO the sweet spot seems stage 1 at around 215 bhp I dont own one but have driven a stage 1 & 2
Does sound great and shifts along strong too....at the start couldnt help but think the drivers door had a sort of browny tinge to it. Wrapped previously and the glues been left behind? Id return the rear lights to standard if it was mine and ditch all the splitters.
You didnt give your opinion on how it compares to its main rival the Corsa which would have been interesting stock for stock.

Finally! I've got a Stage 2 Fiesta ST :P I'm a Vauxhall Guy too, Fords dont really do it for me but you just can't beat a Fiesta ST, so OP, they're very reliable too

Dan Wright..A lot of these ST's are damaged and repaired unrecorded. My mate brought one from a car dealer, didn't realised it had filler and respray on the back panel. They are good cars, a stage 1 tune is more than enough.
thise taillight on the fiesta are illegal probably very hard to see when it's braking

I wish the USA sold the 2 door variant fiesta and focus.
Looks like a fun motor but dont understand how it can get anywhere close to its tuned power to the tarmac. Went to buy a Mazda 3 mps years ago, think they were about 250ho, and that just spun up everywhere, even in 3rd. Took it back to the dealers with melted rubber half way up the rear doors. Used to have a 250 brake saab carlsson, same deal, would melt tyres if you nailed that in 3rd. Would have thought anything over say 170hp in a fwd motor goes up in smoke?
Oh how I wish I could get the 2dr over here.

Get a 6c gti manual mate, drove both and went for the polo, much nicer place to be and to drive 🤘
Fezzy ST's have there own set of issues like the Corsas. Smiles per miles thats all its about though!
Touch wood my ST3 hasn't had any issues in 18k and 2 years
@JOE FS no engine issues? Do some research mate, there plagued with issues with cylinder walls cracking, manifolds cracking, pistons cracking just like most other cars
Drive a fabia vrs 1.9 tdi, with RARB and big turbo etc, proper fun
Hard to find now and there quite aging

Why does a manual car just look way more fun on video? All these DSG/auto cars look boring under acceleration on video, but manual just adds such a sensation of speed :)

Not useful, though, unless you’ve updated brakes, suspension, clutch etc.

Get a post 14/15 plate one. They have better suspension. A 16/66 on ST3 will give you the the same suspension as the ST200 👍

Mr330d it’s the same as the obd port mate the computer they use they basically plug it in it sends some stupid signal (again) to the ecu which turns the ignition on and there away of course if you hide your car keys away they would need to smash a window so hopefully you’d hear that but if your keys are by your front door they can scan them and also nick the car through the obd it’s a new tool it’s just the same as an iPhone plug in thing but they click a few buttons and it’s away it’s quicker aswell takes about 4-5 seconds to re program it to a new key aswell hence why I tell people to put car steering locks on and hide the keys far away make it hard as possible ... if needs be just take a wheel off at night lol bastards 👍
