Thank you for the well explained video. I do have PR but I live here as a tenant so is it fine to put my Indian address for the printable section and rental address on the other address section?
Hi Bro, Thanks for the video. Toronto renewal booklet says: If you are PR, Your printable address must be Canadian, and your other address should be India. Whereas you have instructed the reverse. In the Vancouver Booklet, they instructed only people with study permits/visitors: they need to put their Indian address for their printable passport address and their Canadian address in another address. Not sure which instructions to be followed. Do you have any update about that.
Hey I am on a study permit in Canada I want to get my passport reissue as my Indian address got changed. My DL(G1) has my old Canadian address where i used to reside and that's the only address proof i have. But now i have moved to a new Canadian address and I don't have any address proof for my new Canadian address. So shall I fill my new Canadian address or the old canadian address in the Annexure E Form? Please reply Thank you
Hello @babu_kanikicharla, You can retrieve it from your "Passport Seva account....When you log into your account, scroll down and you will see a table with your application number. if you select your application, by clicking on the circle in front of it under the "Select" column. you will see two options: 1. Print application form 2. Track application status click on the "Print application form" button and it will open your filled out form in the browser and you can either save it to your computer or print it from there. I hope this will help with your issue. Thanks for supporting and all the best with your renewal.
Informative video. I have a query, hope you can help me with it. I am a student in Canada. My current passport does not have a last name, and my full name is listed as "Hyder Ali" under the first name section. I would like to know if it is possible to renew my passport and simultaneously correct my personal particulars. First Name: Hyder Last Name: Ali
Hello @hyderali3397, Thanks for your comment and email. I am putting the same information I provided in the email for reference by others: if it is just to split your name into first name and last name as per BLS Toronto’s FAQ’s no additional proofs are needed: “For splitting name into first and surname, no additional proof is required.” You can refer to their FAQ’s , Question#32 at the link below: www.blsindia-canada.com/toronto-jurisdiction/faqs.php You can also find the same information on their checklist at the link below, under section “Name variation”: www.blsindia-canada.com/CanadaVisaCCT/BLS-CAN10Toronto-PassportRe-Issue-Checklist-Rev4.0.pdf I hope this helps. Thanks for supporting and all the best for your renewal.
