- I'm leaving the flat pampas behind and the scenery is changing to some mountains! I'm riding to Sierra de la Ventana today and am enjoying this scenery, especially because of alll the flat terrain that's still ahead of me!

I’ve been wanting to do some cross country ADV riding! I found your channel and just started watching videos the newest videos from Argentina are amazing. My wife is from Argentina and this series really sparked a fire for her, seeing you ride thru her home country solo!! Way to go. Maybe we’ll see you on the roads someday. Thanks for being you!! 4th stop Sierra de la ventana - Buenos Aires
The town of villa ventana was founded on 1908. A large, luxurious hotel resort, Club Hotel de la Ventana, was opened in 1911 near Villa Ventana, 17 km from the town. Between 1940 and 1946 it was used to intern some of the crew of the German pocket battleship Admiral Graf Spee after it was scuttled outside the harbour of Montevideo, Uruguay, by its captain, Hans Langsdorff, at the end of the Battle of the River Plate.

@@1pasupaty Argentina was prosperous way before the war, and the nazis that came here weren't as many as people make it to be (they were aproximately 10.000 in all of South America). Waaaayyy more escaped to the US. In fact, by the end of the war, Argentina actually began its decline. The country's golden age went from the 1890s to 1930.

El Territorio del país es muy grande. Para alcanzar a ver los mejores lugares, a este ritmo le va a tomar 3 meses mínimo. Además me gusta que filme y suba a diario, se ve lo que realmente es un largo viaje, para tener buenas aventuras a veces pasan semanas sin que pase nada "emocionante". Paciencia. Me encanta como lo está compartiendo. Adelante!
En la costa este no hay mucho que ver, excepto algunas playas. La costa es una llanura hasta cerca de Tolhuin, en la Tierra del Fuego. Pero después, por la ruta 40 en Argentina o alternando por la ruta 7 en Chile, es pura emoción.

One thing surprises me about your travels; you rarely carry any food with you.
On my own trips into the wilds even for only a few hours, I always have some food in my panniers in case something goes wrong and I am stuck somewhere for hours. Even some Snickers will do!
Your spirit and liveliness have made this 70 year old biker on a CB500X feel 40 years younger.

For the mosquitoes, any of the stores should carry green spirals that you light on fire and then blow out the flame. they will burn slowly and send out a little smoke all night long and chase away the mosquitoes. Or you can buy a version the plugs into the wall that heats little anti-mosquito tabs that you have to periodically replace. I found the green spirals to be more effective.

Those green/red spiral mosquito repellents should be easily available and are effective against mosquitos but might cause discomfort in relatively small rooms. Mosquito repellent creams should work well.
yes mosquito coils should be enough. If you can withstand the odor though... but there are scented mosquito coils too. 😊
Yes, she should protect herself from mosquitos. Strangely, a mosquito net is the best protection as it doesn't involve smelling some chemicals but fixing the net around the walls or nails may be a tricky problem.

I've experienced 100 mosquitos at night while camping out --- it's a terror! How were they getting in? Dhanno outside window really nice!
Italy didn’t use to have mosquitoes until 10-15 years ago when a shipment of tiger mosquitoes was “imported” on a ship from China....

The bad news is that you will apparently have to get used to this kind of breakfast. In Brazil, it will not be much different. In some hotels, however, it will be possible to eat fruit, some types of cakes, juices, bread, jams, coffee and milk.

I've put off saying anything about the new bike, but something doesn't sound right with that engine, and I'm not talking about the exhaust tone, the engine doesn't sound happy in the higher revs. I don't know if RE tweaked or changed anything. Maybe I'm wrong, as I am several thousand miles away listening through blue tooth, be safe and many miles.
You hearing something in particular? or just lack of happiness?
My day isn't complete without watching your videos... It somehow helps me with anxiety (i have no idea how, but it's good)

Whenever dogs chase me on the bike, I accelerate hard for a short distance, then brake hard. That usually confuses them and they give up the chase in bewilderment!
I lift my legs as going through a puddle and hope for the best, collies are fast 💨

Hola Noraly, me alegra mucho que vaya bien tu aventura, la única recomendación que puedo hacer es que veas las noticias de Chile, hay conmoción social y tal vez debas replanificar tu ruta hacia mi país si sigue la crísis social en la que está envuelta en este momento. Según tu mapa y tus rutas vas por la costa argentina hacia el sur, de seguir asi no hay dramas, pero te aviso antes de que decidas otras rutas hacia mi pais. Un abrazo y las mejores vibras en tu viaje.

A great room as a reward for dealing with mosquitoes, greetings from Alaska, where it is warmer than average at the moment. As you get here during our summer, check on the Alaskan summer mosquito situation, they are sometimes call the "state bird".
Noraly, thanks for this ride! It's snowing in Colorado now, so my Valkyrie is put up for the winter. I won't be able to ride again for seven months or so. Very much enjoying your adventures in Argentina.

Another great day, thanks for the ride and stay safe..
Close all doors and windows to your room at least an hour before sundown to keep the mosquitoes out. You won't face this problem if the weather is cold. Carry and use mosquito repellent or use a mosquito net if available. Ride safe.
The mosquito story reminds me of camping near a lake at night. I wore my motorcycle helmet to help keep out the mosquitos. The helmet might work well inside a mosquito infested room, too! Though trying to sleep with a helmet might be worse than the mosquito bites .
