I was just on Doug's defender video and saw your comment and was like "gee I love the allroad", so I went to this video to remember my nostalgia for them and just realized you played a pretty long game
I have a 98 A4 2.8 with 280k miles. Still drives great even though the suspension is starting to feel a little loose and creaky at times. Oil leaks are normal with Audis from what my mechanic friend says. Timing belt /water pump replacement is around $1200 and is recommended at every 95k miles. Had the ignition fail on me, axels fail and some other crank position sensor thing that kept it from starting. Not bad for 280 k miles.
You've done it again.... as soon as I take an interest in a certain car, if you don't have a video already about it, you upload one within a week or two. It's like you're reading my mind...
*_This is my Audi but I see I have Heated seats front and back, this must be a southern car because no switch for that. Also, my air ride was swapped out for regular suspension as their air ride was very problematic. Very nice car to drive especially in the winter months._*😎👍
true, my S6 C5 2001 has the switch as new also the buttons, I had an S3 2002 and the switches and buttons are different version that just peels also the symphony buttons and the vol knob.
I'd personally like to see another one of those Lexus hybrids, particularly the GS450h... since you're a former Lexus owner. Great video and review as always!
The Allroad is a great car, especially with that 2.7tt powerplant. I'm surprised they even decided to bring it back though. The sales on these cars were poor. I saw a new one at the NY Auto Show though and it looks awesome, so it will be interesting to see how the new one sells.
this car is pretty cool but i did an inspection on one yesterday and the valve cover gaskets, lower oil pan, transmission pan, and both of the turbos were leaking, oh and the right front outer cv boot was torn
The Allroad 4.2 is the one to own however, hard to find. That suspension is wonderful as well. Hey Kyle I'd love to see an 850 Turbo wagon. You can use mine if you'd like; but I live in Ontario Canada! Cheers.
Hey i need some help, my allroad has a blown transmission, was in safe mode driven from new york to miami and 1st and 2nd gear are blown but since its an air suspension i dont want to put the car on a lift so is there a way to disable the suspension like on my friends Q7 i worked on. i need to know what fuse and/or where to go into the menu. thanks
Saabkyle if you come across an 08' Jetta Wolfsburg edition, would you mind reviewing it? I'm getting this car from my dad as a first car and I dont know of any better way of actually getting to know the car besides you! Thanks!
A lot of states including North Carolina (where he made this) don't require a front license plate so people put vanity plates on there or a lot of times the foreign plates for a cool look.
Hi where its the phone to contact the dealer? its this car for sale? i look at the beginning of the video i look at the sign of monroe car dealer with the phone? but no area code? how do we get in touch?
Allroad was very underrated car and got replaced by Q5/7 in the US. They still make them for EU market. I like it a lot. Too bad the ones you can usually find online have over 100K miles. The control/switch wear is typical for all Audi/VW vehicles. I had the same problem in my Passat and so does my friend in Q7. It its pitty but not the end of tbe world.
I know, right? My 5.2L Dodge truck can just push 20 on the highway. For a car like this, that's just unacceptable. But I love everything else about it.
+Georgian Busuioc The air suspension does not require to be refilled, there is a compressor in the car that fills the bags when needed. There are controls on the center console that let you adjust the height of the car depending on what terrain you are dealing with. When you press the raise button, air is pumped into the bags, and when you press the down button, air is pumped out of the bags. My front left bag or hose has a leak in it and requires air to be pumped though constantly, but still functions.
I have records of the torque convertor being replaced by the dealer at 55k. Just not sure about the timing belt, so to be safe im going to tackle that in the very near future. I want to address all the weak areas so I have a great driver without any worries.
Its no condensation. Most present-day vehicles that run on gasoline are fitted with a"three way"catalytic converter,so named because it converts the three main pollutants in automobile exhaust:an oxidising reaction converts carbon monoxide(CO) and unburned hydrocarbons(HC),and a reduction reaction converts oxides of nitrogen(NOx) to produce carbon dioxide(CO2),nitrogen(N2),and water(H2O).So if you drive low rpm then water is collecting in mufler and if you acclerate then it comes outlarger amount
the average MPG on the 2003 Audi Allroad Quattro Automatic is 15 City 20 Highway the average MPG on the 2003 Audi Allroad Quattro Manual is 14 City 21 Highway
@ saabkyle04 dude i've been watching your vids and i really like it. Please do a lot of car reviews. Can you do an in depth tour of the Land Rover LR4?. Thanks
I live in a Colorado mountain town. I'm an avid skier, and downhill biker. I'm a teenager considering this as my first car. They are asking 7k for a fully loaded model at 127,xxx mileage. I have a decent, steady income, and insurance will be paid for. I read that they aren't the most reliable, but this seems to be different for everyone. Someone please talk me in/out of this large purchase, or just some advice. I really like the car, but I'm not totally sold. Thanks!
I've owned an 02 allroad since 2004. I've also owned a single turbo Porshe since the 1990s. I'd stay away from ANYTHING that has a twin turbo set-up. Good luck! Joe
i know... the black cover material mostly boils up if the car is left for long in direct sunlight and become fragile... same in my passat, but hey - it happens even to audi a8's.. not a big deal, definitely no deal breaker since they can be replaced easily
For a car from 2003 it still looks pretty modern!
Doug the kinda guy to crush this with a land rover
Ronaldo95163 I Know what you mean
I was just on Doug's defender video and saw your comment and was like "gee I love the allroad", so I went to this video to remember my nostalgia for them and just realized you played a pretty long game
Because he did
Because that Allroad's life was complete and was nonfuctional
I agree I own one of these vehicles too, it is by far the best vehicle i have ever owned, so far. I would recommend it to anyone
How about now? Awful vehicle in retrospect...LOL
I love these cars. So freaking practical without being a big gas guzzler. I'd love to have one!
Oh the 2.7t guzzles gas alright
Great overview... really good camera work for a one person job... thanks!!

These things are awesome! I cant wait for the new Allroad!
you've got great taste haha! Great looking wagon, especially for an '03!
You've done it again.... as soon as I take an interest in a certain car, if you don't have a video already about it, you upload one within a week or two. It's like you're reading my mind...
Nice in-depth review. Overall, I enjoyed it. Keep it up!👍👍
A lovely ski-mobile, I'd love to find a mint 6-speed manual some day
Nicholas Me
I have one!
Audi’s are never really *mint*
Me too when I get a license
i have it too
*_This is my Audi but I see I have Heated seats front and back, this must be a southern car because no switch for that. Also, my air ride was swapped out for regular suspension as their air ride was very problematic. Very nice car to drive especially in the winter months._*😎👍
What a fantastic, what a unique car
8 years ago...LOL...its a horrible car.
@@edgewood99 yeah opinions, things, visions change over the course of time 😆 i do not like this type of motor vehicle anymore
@@mericdrives Why? Please tell me I might want to buy this car next week 🍀😅👌 ...
@@habibistking8652 Just don't buy it 😁 people and cars change over the course of time
@@mericdrives If it's just the style, I can live with it for 24 years But is he the reliable one😅?
Seems like a lot of condensation in the exhaust system? Is that normal?
true, my S6 C5 2001 has the switch as new also the buttons, I had an S3 2002 and the switches and buttons are different version that just peels also the symphony buttons and the vol knob.
Audis are so underrated.
for a reason
marc1093280 maybe in north america, but in Europe and in Russia Audi are very popular and wanted cars.
That’s whats so cool about em
Looks amazing for a car with 115k miles. This would be a great daily driver for the right person in a cold climate. I would be all over it.
I'd personally like to see another one of those Lexus hybrids, particularly the GS450h... since you're a former Lexus owner. Great video and review as always!
The 2.7 twin turbo can be simply tweaked to be a monster engine.
Quality everywhere, love Audi.
Just like mine LOVE IT thanks kyle !!
Comfortableness is not a word.

2012 AUDI Q7!! GREAT VID MAN
Man, those are a hard find now a days. You're right, though, would love to see one.
Great vid as always Kyle!
Nice to see I'm not the only one missing the cover on the cup holder. Lol did Audi just use a weak adhesive there?
When it came to cup holders, the German trio were bad at it back in the day
you should go to all city and hit up some quick takes... I love those!
For a turbocharged engine that thing changes revs so damn quickly and smoothly.
My dad had the same exact car, except it was a 6 speed manual
This Allroad would be a killer winter beater.
as usual, a great review

Just got a 2001 with 87000 full history , one owner and everthing works...even the air shocks
How''s your AllRoad holding up?
Update?

Your actually a super dude!
Me. I'm big audi fan. + Remember not only people from USA watch his videos :)
Hi where its the phone to contact the dealer? its this car for sale? i look at the beginning of the video i look at the sign of monroe car dealer with the phone? but no area code? how do we get in touch?
That poor allroad. It seems whoever owned it put it through some tough times. Hope someone will buy it and restore it to glory.
i'll really have to think about it, my budget certainly doesn't allow for it now ;) but i reallllly want an MK4 R32
got a video of it? would love to see
Why so much water coming out the tail pipes? Also must have had a bad owner as the switches have faded. Smooth engine though,
You for got to mention two cup holders located in the rear bench. They are just right in between of two passengers seat.
Can you do a review of the 2014 allroad please?
yes what he said
Review a 2004-5 Audi S4 please! And I like the HD camera.
Does anybody know why it drops so much water at 7:06 ?
Because it was probably driven for really short distances and so condense water could built up

can you do the Mazda CX5?
Nice car! I love Audi Allroads (:
I own an allroad.. incredible car..
These are great vehicles. Have one myself. But MPG is off. I get 18 city 25 highway. Were you looking at the 4.2 v8 mpg?
How's the reliability?
Avant is a marketing term Audi came up with because it sounds cool. It's still a wagon body style.
this car has seen better days
Can you please review VOLVO XC70 1st or 2nd generation ?? Greetings from Croatia.
i'd love one of these for winter... however don't expect that it can possibly have low maintenance costs... it'll be out of this world
What is the KBB on this?
I'll take it!
Missing 12 volt air pump ???? The information and the video was very good. Thank you.
You should definitely do the 2003 Audio RS6.
I know, right? My 5.2L Dodge truck can just push 20 on the highway. For a car like this, that's just unacceptable. But I love everything else about it.
Switch fade is a common problem for Volkswagen products
Can u do an Acura zdx advanced with sh awd
Sorry if im wrong but do air suspension require some sort of refill or something like that , can some1 please explain it me. Thank you :)

Can you do a reviews on vw bus?
i want to see the 2008 model please
They're bringing those back into production! Look it up! They are nice!
Uhm why is the exhuast dripping?
0:30 Interesting .... Why is a model for the US marked equipped with a german licence plate frame?
What are rear fog lamps
i was thinking of getting one of these years ago but never did
Is this called Allroad in the US?
Though it looks like A6 wagon.
so glad to have bought my allroad, these are starting hard to find.
With how many miles? Any issues so far?
Looking to get one myself.
Just bought one 102k miles, drives great

i am missing the cup holder plate too where could i find one lol ?

Didn't know that. Thanks for the info

Hey Kyle, can you please do that Pontiac Montana SV6?
I'm quite fond of this car
I have a 03, only thing I saw different from mine is my car has front and rear heated seats and the sky package.
the average MPG on the 2003 Audi Allroad Quattro Automatic is
15 City 20 Highway
the average MPG on the 2003 Audi Allroad Quattro Manual is

WHERE O HOW DO I FIND OUT IF THIS CAR ITS AVAILABLE?
Wagon Audis aren't sold in the US. So this is pretty unique.
Did you say 21 mpg highway ?
More old volvos, please! S60R/S70R/V70R or 480 - rare and nice car.
Very nice review, but you really shouldn't be revving a cold turbo charged engine like that.
Lots of condensation coming out of those exhaust pipes!
I was waiting for an exterior view of the car going from lowest ride height setting to highest but it didn't happen :/

12:40 is this HEROIN?
The heated seats are desirable on this one
the previous owner must not have cared at all for the car. my audi is like new inside because i keep my nails trimmed and am gentle to my switches :)
