- There were so many ways Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth could of failed. But what Square Enix pulled off Is easily one of the best RPGs ever made that improves on the FF7 Remake In almost every way.

Ok everyone. Which team are you on? Team Aerith or Team Tifa?!
yes
🗿 Idk probably the one that made a song for him (Aerith 100%)
Aerith. But I love them both.
They both really are great characters. Excited to see what they do with both of them In Part 3!@@tonymaccaroni1683
@@JaredRPG Well part 3 is obviously gonna be Tifa's time to shine. We all know where this is going. But this doesn't mean he didn't love Aerith aswell. It's pretty obvious in this game and also in AC if you ask me.
Just cleared the game. A masterpiece so much superior to all other modern games ever made it's really not even a discussion.
FINALLY SOMEONE WHO UNDERSTANDS
This game isn't getting the praise it deserves. Even with its high ratings.
The devs have taken RPGs to a whole other level and created the most repayable single player RPG ever from a gameplay standpoint.
(From a narrative/choice standpoint Baldurs gate 3 still has the crown and will for a while)
Yea. Baldurs Gate 3 really lets you go wild with the choices In It which I love. But The gameplay Is so good In FF7R. It was hard for me to stop playing!
its getting more praise than it deserves. Even your own praise is way over the top and this game doesnt deserve it. It doesnt take rpgs to another level, and its not the most replayable rpg ever from a gameplay standpoint.

In my opinion, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is the most creative non Nintendo game ever made.
Who did Square-enix hurt lol. They get shafted in every way possible. This game was a brilliant masterpiece. Im guessing this story went over the heads of simple minds. Its good to see a good review.
Thanks! I really can't wait to see how the story evolves In part 3. I've thought about the ending almost everyday since I finished playing, and how they are going to approach areas like Wutai. Hopefully the wait Isn't crazy long.
Ah the go to cope stupid people use to defend shitty writing "Der dey just didnt get it."
Rebirth is amazing...im playing dragons dogma 2 now...and its good...but I think had i not played Rebirth first i would enjoy it more.. Some people talk like dragons dogma 2 is game of the year...theyre crazy. It must be people with Xboxes. Theres no game like Rebirth. Its an epic masterpiece
Funny you mention that. My next video Is about Dragon's Dogma 2, and If It deserves to be considered for GOTY. Also I do agree. I think Rebirth somewhat changed my perception of DD2. At least from A story perspective.
I saw you mention how mini games were tiresome when you were forced to do them in the plot like in Corel Prison.
You dont actually have to play the minigames to continue. There's 6 greens and you only need 3 to continue. And you can get those from the swindler seminar, back alley brawl and cactuar chase. Don't even have to touch Queens Blood, the beast pit or desert rush.
This Is very true! Though I was more talking about the Chocobo race being A requirement of that part of the story since all the tasks you run are so you can compete In the race. Like I said. I don't dislike any of this stuff. I personally find them fun to do. Just the pacing felt A little off at times for me when It came to the story telling.
Most people didn’t buy rebirth is because they were turned off by remake, square made a game many fans didn’t want, if they made a OG FF7 remake they will see huge sales.
I definitely wouldn't mind A 1:1 remake of the OG FF7 with some minor updates. I could definitely see It selling super well since I do think the biggest Issue with the new FF7 remakes. Is the fact It's split into so many games. Basically spending possibly 210$ Is A lot less appealing than spending 70$ or less to experience that same story.
@@JaredRPG totally agree, I got remake thinking there will just be a patch to release the new game and I’ll continue with my save progression, but no it’s a complete different game I need to download and start over from scratch.
Great review, thank you.
Appreciate It, and thank you for the taking the time to check It out!
I am debating whether or not to keep Remake and Rebirth because there are too many stupid little missions like getting flowers, finding chocobos, etc. These are very good and well made games, I WANT TO KEEP THEM and get into FF games, all of them, but after watching this review and IGN's review, I am not seeing any battles that are making me want to play the game to get to those battles. No interesting enemies, no Big Bosses, these two games seem more made for females than for males. I think that maybe the FF games that are suited for myself are XV and XVI, where there are bigger bosses and hardly any stupid and bothersome childish missions. They seem to be more for males. Maybe, I just have to realize that traditional FF games are not for me. Good Review, not saying that the review isn't good, just that I am not seeing anything appealing to me in the game. Someone give me a reason to keep Remake and Rebirth
One thing I will forever say about FFXVI. It's one of the only games I've ever played that has made large scale Kaiju like battles actually feel good to play! I definitely wouldn't be sad If we got more FF games like It.
First and team double team ;)
My man!
nobody liked the moogles, what were they thinking XD
Should of kept those things as A deepground experiment that you had to fight In part 3 or something. lol
@@JaredRPG I was trying to justify it in my mind like: Maybe they turn out to be evil in pt3 and you fight em xD
My favorite dinner hunting minigame
No, no it’s not
me? Gongaga
It's an amazing game EXCEPT for the ending. The ending was an ABSOLUTE and COMPLETE *FAILURE.* They gambled with new story elements and lost.
Absolutely disagree. The ending was pure genius once you understand it.
@@SnuSnu91 I understand it. It's a child's idea.
@@Alassandros nah, you're just stuck in 1997.
@@SnuSnu91 Sounds like you don't understand. Don't reduce my opinion to disliking change.
@@Alassandros whatever. pointless arguing with purists
