I've liked the comic so far, though I would like it if the scaled back on the "Whoa!" and "What!?" kind of dialogue. The format, and story are likely to get the greatest benefit from brevity. ~ Adam
I think that kind of dialogue is a manga/anime problem in general all too often. We don't need battles drawn out and many parts, unless it is high stakes or other things going on to justify it.
I haven't read the comic yet but the format they are using is the Korean webcomic,( vertical + full color ) so I don't know if they are using Korean artists/writers but they tend to release weekly chapters the art also tend to be from average to great while the story from bland/generic cultivation/revenge/regression stories with a few good ones
@@derpmagician5631 Ah, so this has been done before, I hadn't seen this format before but with phones being so common it isn't surprising. So far it has been fine, but we're still early. There does seem to be a lot of pushing new cards like a sales pitch, but Digimon has always been about selling merch I suppose.
I think liberator have a pretty fun start and I’m excited to learn more about all of the characters. I do have issue with the world building though, because a lot of the info given are in the columns separated from the actual comic itself. I would prefer to have these inside the story rather than having to read a wiki to learn about them. Liberator being online to read is probably why they are doing it in color, instead of black and white, since they won’t have to worry about printing it. The scrolling format is mostly fine for me since I use my phone to read it anyway. The 3 month wait for the novel is pretty long so I will probably have to re read them before the next chapter is out.
It is strange that they are putting everything out there in different mediums. Comic, short posts in tips, and a novel to have it all over the place. If it all is as intertwined as they say I am not sure everyone will want to read it all and understand. Print costs is a good point, though it still takes extra time to color it so I am impressed. Yeah the really long wait hurts. I hope they change their mind on that or else I fear less than 50% of people will even remember to come back after the first release.
Sure, it is early and can change a lot with more issues and the novel coming out. If they wanted to break chapters into parts already just give us smaller parts but every week to keep it fresh in our heads.
For me. I wouldn’t start judging the pacing yet. Having a 3 episode rule and see what will going on. Like part 2 can have Shoto beating Frozen knight, see what happens. Then shoemon talks about its experience. Then probably see that ghostmon girl that seen in the tcg be the main trio. Or part 2 can be Shoto against Frozen knight and the fight will continue another part. With the narrative stalling. Just think pacing should not be judged yet. Then Iceclad was not introduced first in the comic. But being revealed quite a bit from Ex 7 reveals. For individuals that doesn’t follow tcg news daily, I can see why anyone assumed Iceclade is first shown in the comic. But I wouldn’t say it is a negative, can make people be excited to see a new effect coming out of know where and looking forward for the upcoming product more.
It is of course still early. I know many of my concerns are coming from what we have gotten lately. I am still excited and hope that it continues to do well, I just do have some concerns. The more I'm playing around with the card game the more I am seeing and realizing there are many keywords that are quite specialized so I had not heard of before. I hope that they strike a fair mix so everyone can enjoy it, but sometimes that makes it all the harder to do.
You mean like video games for it? The physical game seems to be going strong so that may well be still going. As for video games I hope at least one. Liberator is setting us up a good one, even if they don't go full VR. There is the fan made client that recently came out we can use to play it online together.

I think its too early to tell, but i agreee with the pacing issue, two weeks for each chapter? that's a lot
