Hi Chandru, you could have covered the inconvenience due to power cuts and restaurant food quality due to power cuts. Even for SLns this hot season is unbearable...especially people coming to SL with small kids will have challenge...
I belive what they mainly meant this for those from Srilanka living elsewhere rather than the tourists

Video was good but you did not address the core issues. What about the availability of essentials and their cost? If one visits Sri Lanka on a tour, natuarally they will have a budget for the trip. Is the trip really affordable owing to high cost and of course their availability. Say in the case of medicine and medical facilities. You look into those aspects and make another video. Thanks

You have show-pieced some areas in your city but left out one of the crucial issues that is power supply. There is a power centre around a particular family but I am talking about Electricity Energy(EE). Nothing can be done without EE and it is widely reported in India that Srilanka reels under power cuts for staggering 13-14 hours per day. If It is the case, how the hospitality sector will survive which is the basis for the tourism sector in any country. So, unless power positions improves drastically, one has to think several times before embarking on a tour to Srilanka.
Power cuts are already down to 2 hours. Did your Indian news channels update you on that as well ?

Also, I want you to add in the list that the Srilankans are fed food thrice a day, essential commodities are made available to Srilankans free of cost, by the Rajabaksa govt. Diesel, petrol and other petroleum products are easily available and you are at liberty to say the forming queues in front of petrol bunks are figment imagination or tell that the people are enjoying and fond of standing in the queue. I want you to not admit any problem and flatly deny it as it would alone bring laurels to your motherland.

I just want news channels to provide genuine coverage not exaggerated news coverage especially those provided by foreign media. Well for starters which country in South Asia doesn’t have people who are under poverty. Doesn’t your country have one of the highest poverty rates in the world ?. The truth is most people in Sri Lanka are still able to eat 3 meals a day. If they are able to eat 3 meals a day it also means that they have access to gas albeit standing in queues. Fuel shortage is a genuine issue but it is not restricted to Sri Lanka. Most countries in the world are experiencing fuel price increases and shortage. Sri Lanka is definitely going through an economic crisis but it is not of the magnitude that media in your country is probably trying to portray. Sri Lanka had the best living standards prior to this crisis as far as South Asia is concerned and that is probably one of the reasons why everyone is trying to put them down at a given chance. 🇱🇰 will rise again
