It really did feel like a mini Otter Trail. We actually hiked Robberg before we did the Otter Trail so it was good preparation for what was to come. Those guys were definitely maintenance workers, but it was still a bit of a shock to see 2 guys walking past with machetes!
@hikebytes on this hike we saw a boat arrive and a couple of people got out and were taking selfies with the seals. The seals must be used to it because they were swimming next to them, but I’m not sure I agree with it.
@RyansNextAdventure Hi Ryan! Thanks for the prompt reply! I think climate wise, I would probably like South Africa. I went to Goa in 1995 but found it too hot and humid. It was my first flight too!
@@albert2395 It’s a great place to go to escape the UK winter. Can get quite hot though in the summer. We were by the coast in Plettenburg Bay for a month and it was much cooler there, still hot but not too hot.
Views are absolutely majestic, such a great presentation! Shots are full of life, outstanding video my friend! Truly day hike to remember!
Thank you 😊 it really was a coastal paradise. I really enjoyed watching all the seals playing in the waves.
Nice Walk, Great Video
Thank you 😊
A lovely hike reminiscent of the Otter Trail. Those two guys with the tools were probably trail maintenance workers.

They are fun to watch ! We have alot in Laguna Beach Ca . They are very curious ! Some snorkelers have been lucky enough to swim up close with them!

Ryan, do you live in South Africa?
@@albert2395 No, but my girlfriend has family there. I went out there for 3 months and did some hiking and exploring
