One pizza review turned into a Barstool history lesson, nobody knows what is happening.
Utter pandemonium!
One bite, nobody knows the rules.
i still do not understand how he got famous and for what... bar stool?
i never even heard of that until i checked the pizza reviews
what makes this guy famous??
guess it's better than some of the "musicians" and netfliex "actors" of 2020s but still... dont see it.. i really dont
@@michelleper5065 One pizza review rookie, everyone knows they will become addicted in a week.

Dave's memory never ceases to impress me. After so much pizza and blow he still remembers the owners
It truly is amazing that he can remember these little details of Barstool history but forgets where the hell he is lmao
@@mrlmaokun lmao long term vs short term memory there haha being in a coke induced haze after and before fights definitely has something to do with it haha in the early days he couldnt afford the good blow lol
Dave always forgets where he is, everybody knows the rules.

Cool seeing them say Haddon Township, that's my old hood!
Dave always acts* like he forgets where he is.
Dave forgets basically every detail that comes his way; I'm pretty sure he's forget his own name if he wasn't such an egotist. He certainly didn't create an empire based on his cognitive capacity.
@@Jester556 nah, he forgets genuinely.
One 10 minute review you know it's going to be a classic everybody knows the rules... Almost reminds you of episode of curb your enthusiasm..

@@_shayanz hahahahahahshsha that was so funny!!!
Hello from Rome
The music is eerily similar.
Anyways pizza in NY is great but a bit different from Italy
"Ask them for the hexagon pizza."
*Dave's mind blown*
You blown my mind my boy
how much prefer the Pentagon the pepperoni
I heard Anthony Dutch corrales plotting a prison escape so he can get over there for the mafioso Maybach edition of that pie it's done with curly-edge hundred dollar bills
😂😂
Dave talking shapes reminds me of my final exam in kindergarten. Those days were tough.
“Then it should say the home of the circles” 😂 i never fail to be entertained when watching Dave’s reviews.
During earlier Covid, I was in Restaurant Depot. A customer helped me out regarding a purchase of meats. He answered a bunch of questions and taught me about the steaks. I realized he didn't work there at the end of our conversation. It was the owner of Brooklyn Square. The nicest guy you could ever meet. He's an absolute gentleman. I told him that I was from Aberdeen, NJ. He said that he's planning on coming out this way. We can't wait. You have a loyal customer when you do. They make excellent pizza and they're great people.
Ahh yes the classic. “He gave an average score , give him something else “
Back when Brooklyn Pizza was first starting up near us, when they heard about my Grandpop passing away, they came over and gave a tomato pie and baked ziti to our family for free. So this place holds a special place in my heart.
It's great entrertainment & Dave is #1 at reviewing all the Local Great Pizzerias an that's that!
I like the way you took the first bite and wiped your hand on the side of the box. That’s a pro move in my opinion.
If a pizza box touts "Respect the Craft" it's gotta be an 7.0+. I love how Dave has no idea where he is xD He's honest and great with people no matter where he goes. This dude has provided so much business for small businesses that were struggling before he showed up at the door. His uploads are an awesome charity!
Honest review of this place: they are in the 8-8.5 range.
“I try them all until I try them all”. Lol Dave channeling a little Yogi Berra with that nugget of wisdom.
10 minute video….even before watching this has to be a classic!!
@PC LOAD LETTER more like soft whooshing sound
It wasn't. Half of it was old man Dave reminiscing about Green Death.
Dave is like the Health Dept., one bad day will ruin your business forever.
This review felt like a drama series with all the plot twists & turns. I didn't know what was happening next. 😅
I love how Dave doesn’t let these pizza slingers try to bullshit him
They were trying so hard lol
Ah you can't blame them. A good review and the business they'll get is insane.
The ball busting with the square/circle fiasco is fantastic 🤣🤣🤣
When Dave is hungry and in a pizza frenzy just keep feeding him different slices in the hopes he gives you a score you like.
*This is their way*
Once the score is there, it's finalized numb nuts
watch these every night before i go sleep, big up dave - love from the uk

Dude got so scared not knowing a 7.3 is a VERY GOOD score from a guy who reviewed like a thousand pizza spots.
His job is to eat pizza and hire 22 year olds to run his business, genius
This is what we call a pizza athlete.
You know something interesting is going to happen when the video is over ten minutes.
Theo Von muggin' at 3:38 had me cracking up!
Thought I saw him!
Old guy at the end pretending to just be walking out DEFINITELY not trying to hear the review lol
Haddon Heights, actually... In fact it borders close to Audubon. I know because I live not to far away from the place. I've been there and it's good but the problem is the wait is agonizing when ordering during the evening, especially on a Friday. Ordered 20-30 minutes before going over to pick it up, then waited another 20-30 minutes to wait for it.
If the video is longer than 4:00 you know it’s a good one.
Dave still doesn’t know where he is, and I ain’t telling. Everybody knows the rules
You sound like a decent person
Dave's being generous these days, that's a 7.1 no question.
I know he is judging just plain pies, their specialty pies are a lot better. Whoever that manager is that came out made himself look silly trying to get a higher score
Total 6.8 on looks. Can't be too different than Domino's.

This man reviewing 1990's elementary school pizza.
Dude this is round the corner from me and this place is amazing. If you're from here you know to get a Brooklyn square or a drunken grandma (vodka sauce). 8+ and I've had a lot of pizza
I had to see this one for sure. His son is a really clever young man. Be safe BROTHER. Neal
All time classic episode
Yes, everyone asking about the pizza…it is always cheese. He does this to score even across the board and make it fair as everyone has a classic cheese. Also easier to taste sauce and crust without added items to it. Plus a lot of people end up eating the pizza, so easier for others to eat.
But is it always just a cheese pizza?
I’ve never seen that question asked
Don't feed the trolls
You, are an idiot.
It's actually because he doesn't like pizza he likes burnt crackers with a bit of cheese and sauce.
This guy trying to explain the different pizzas reminded me of George Costanza explaining the J Peterman Reality Tour: "Wait a minute. I think I understand this. J. Peterman is real; his biography is not. Now you, Kramer, are real. But your life is Peterman’s. Now the bus tour, which is real, takes you to places that-while they are real-they are not real in the sense that they did not really happen to the real Peterman, which is you."
Good people for sure. Not a jerk at all. Good job Dave. You rock brother. Neal

i live right by here and this is one of my go to spots. they make a solid pie. def one of the best in the area. their menu is confusing so i’m not surprised by what happened to dave. sucks it kinda feels like they didn’t get a true review. they have an 8.1 on the app which id say is accurate
But wait! You gotta try our triangle pizza! 🍕🤣
If somebody was to ask you of the real reason for your truly amazing success, and you were limited to one response; I would hope you wouldn't cite your knowledge of business and marketing which you studied at U of M, or of the work experience you had after college.
I believe the real reason for your great success is that you are totally genuine, that you say exactly what you think and feel, sans filter, which is truly a rarity in our culture today.
You call it as you see it, and you have a great understanding of what is good and bad, and what is right and wrong, and not just with pizza.
You lay it out there for all to see, regardless of what others think, for which many more people should follow your example.
I truly appreciate your honesty about yourself, as not that many people make a video when they are smoking weed!
I could add one word and an abbreviation to your catch phrase, which would be; "One bite, everybody knows the rules....no BS!" That is who you are, no BS. You call BS out in a heartbeat, and you have the guts to stand up and point out whatever isn't right; for which the NFL had an awareness, and candidly, per my perceptions acted like cowards who wouldn't take responsibility for their screw ups.
If there was one bit of advice I would give, well, you already know what it is. Just keep being you. Trust yourself, and keep calling it as you see it.
BTW I would literally pass out if there was any person on the planet who has eaten more different pizzas than you. You have to be the very best judge of pizza out of the 8 billion people in this world. Also, I enjoy your appearances with Stuart Varney on Fox Business.
As somebody with a career in economics, finance, and real estate, my advice for our challenging economy that is projected to be facing a difficult year of recession, is that "the return of your money is much more important, than the return on your money". Cash likely will be king in 2023, until the inflation rate is well down such that the Fed won't be increasing interest rates by much.
Dave Portnoy.....what I really hope, is that for so many who watch your videos and see you on national media, they would take a great life lesson from you...to be honest with themselves, say what they think, and take responsibility for what they say and do, and pursue whatever it is they have a genuine passion for.
That would truly make our country strong.... along with some better energy, economic, foreign, and domestic policies.
I'll end with my favorite quote, that I will add a few words as your personal customization....this came from the father of the great golfer, Davis Love, who was an amazing teaching pro, he said "Follow your dreams and enjoy the trip....and don't forget to have a few thousand slices of pizza along the way!". Mr. Portnoy....I do believe you are doing just that.
I thank you for heightening my awareness of both pizza and the NFL, and reminding me that those who really stand out, are those who are honest not just with others, but most importantly, with themselves, which is who you are, and why you have realized the amazing success that you have.
Best wishes always,
Randy Lazer
PS...I do like U of M, but grew up in East Lansing, went to Duke Undergrad and Michigan State for grad school, so usually the NCAA hoops tournament is pretty interesting for me.
2:30 Brooklyn Square Pizza with the 8.9 had the best looking Sicilian pizza ever.
I've had a few 8+ pies in the region and Brooklyn Square is my favorite, though I have yet to try the Trenton tomato pies. I'm so fortunate I live 15 mins away and can swing in for a slice whenever I want
Love your reviews

5:50 Best way to get somebody to answer honestly.
Theo Von watching big cat and Dave portnoy pissed throwing cups is hilarious. Look to the back right
Their boardwalk pie is their best pie. Just had it the other night.
They are 🧢. The dude heard 7.3 and asked him to come back in. 🤣🤣🤣
the coach is right and had to resign? back in the 70's we got trophies down to 3rd place and if not 1st we would train and practice harder in order to get 1st and if we got 1st place we would train and practice harder to maintain 1st place. Everybody knows the rules.
Agreed 100%, absolute madness in this world now.

It's pathetic when people try to beat the score by saying oh this is the one we are known for after hearing a low score...in my opinion, their score goes from 7.3 to a 6.7 for that.
Home of the squares right on the door too
We are covering a lot of NJ it seems. Did we burn through, the 5 boroughs, CT, Long Island? Perhaps a New England tour?
Home of the circles is a savage line

The pizza is decent. I grew up a half a block down the street in the 90s. the place was called Mimmo’s then and it was owned by a Sicilian gentleman named Tony. Never has there been better pizza in these parts
90s it’s 2022 would taste completely different
@@MrSuperG hey bro he’s an old fart leave him alone
You are relying on nostalgia bias on Mimmo's, my old friend. Angelo's was the best in this region. Mimmo's while great relative to the era wasn't mind-blowing. Best part of Mimmo's was that they were laundering money for the Mob.
@@geoffrobinson I respectfully disagree, buddy!! (on the pizza not the money laundering). Every Saturday night after closing the lot out back would have 5 or 6 Benz and Caddy's while the boys were having a sit down, playing cards and drinking their limoncello. I miss Tony. Mimmo's for life

Pizza place guy went into panic mode when he heard 7.3, threw an audible, but his own marketing scheme exposed his bullshit. 7.3 is a good score, but some people can’t handle being less than the best.
