I know. That’s why I only have one lipo (1800 Mah) crawler. Anything else is for fun building. Cause to maintain and store those dammed batteries is a hassle. If you don’t there’s your money down the drain. Lol. My Nitro I have left them alone for weeks and still run like a champ. The day I rebuild my .15 I’ll give you a shout out man. And things are a little slow for me at the moment but I got some new stuff on the was including a 3.3 project and more connecting rod nonsense Diesel from Kazakhstan and more oddball fuel and I absolutely agree i don't have time for people and there hypersensitive BS

Me too. I went to a hobby and a guy was asking for nitro cars, the owner tells the customer no man electric is the new way nitro is gone!. I was like, “Hey 🤫 🤐”. Don’t get me wrong I like electric too but for crawling. For bashing I gotta have my nitro. I hate decelerating on an electric seeing and feeling every speed level change on command where as nitro when you let go that throttle you get to see and feel the freewheel turn and spin it around fish tailing. With electric is like driving a robot!! 😂.
I just can't get into the electric I have tried and it's just not my thing it's not exciting enough for me all does go fast and cost $500 battery for the afternoon lol
Let’s not forget the cool factor of a real combustion engine. Still just as awesome 20+ years later. I’m afraid the day will come when we are going to have to start machining our own parts like the pistons and sleeves just to keep them going. I already can’t find parts for most of my engines and plus it’s getting hard to find an engine under a .21 now like a .12 through .18. There’s some but not like it used to be.

Just subbed. Just bought a used 1st generation Tmaxx with a pro .15 it does run great but I still plan on going through the engine to make sure it’ll last as long as I want it to. So will just 5w30 will be good for assembly?
Hey how's it going? Do you know anywhere here in bc that has and will ship rc Fuel? All I can get is " backyard basher with 16% oil. Nobody will ship fuel it's frikken ridiculous. Is backyard basher really that bad? I dunno what to do.
I picked up an old tmaxx you are super knowledgeable so I thought I would ask, is there a place I can ship it to get it running good? It won’t go forward only a little in reverse at full throttle and not all the time. Didn’t know if you had a shop that does repairs or know of one. Thanks
I wouldn't ship anywhere to have someone else work on it that's all you wind up with more issues or getting ripped off by somebody there is a lot of really great Facebook groups that I'm in like Nitro Rc enthusiasts. or Nitro/diesel/gas rc and more Now upon joining these groups there will be questions to answer but you can post a video or pictures in their thousands of people are very knowledgeable in them

I believe they are available on eBay I know stuff is getting hard for them unfortunately I have been running the SH 18 is a close 2nd if you wanted

The 10e hasn't been made in about 20 years now. The VX 16 or 18 Carb will fit and work 👌🏻

Sometimes you can get old pro 15 dynamite heads on eBay for the tmaxx keep your eye out

Yup the SH 18 carburetor fits the pro 15s all 3 of mine have SH carbs they run and tune so much better

i have the TRX PRO .15 and NITRO STAR 12R SS they both run good which one is the better of the two? i need one of them for bashing lol

Hey bug, what kind of oil can i use when i rebuild an engine and Its going into long term storage?
Just a 5w30 synthetic engine oil or Lucas air tool oil is fine
