Just got mine for 325! The website said it was a 600+ dollar watch. So thats why i took the 50% off deal. I sae this at a shop and fell in love with it! lol
Great review. BTW led backlight exactly matches cockpit instrumentation in color - orange - to preserve night vision. It is also fully jeweled - 8 jewels.
Thanks for the review. Quick question; If the hour and minute hands are covering the digital displays for example at 3:20pm or at 4: 45pm; Can the hands be moved away from the digital display so that the user can use the chronograph ?

When I made this I had recently done a review of my 2 other Skyhawks and my older one is a much bigger watch and the lugs are 23mm, I forgot the new ones were 22mm! The Funny thing is i orderd the leather one with white ring but amazon delieverd me the blue metal version on leather strap, The watch was brand new but i got it for 361$ so i didn't complain a lot but i like the white strap more
These sorts of things happen often with gray market watches from Amazon. Not all dealers on Amazon are gray market but most i think are. Sometimes you get the wrong box, warranty card missing etc. And different strap or bracelet sometimes. If you really want the white band version just return this one and try again with another dealer or ebay. Ebay has more regular retail dealers with new in box watches.
You can't get most leather straps wet, so this will eventually get sweat and salts on it and brakedown eventually so the bracelet will be better to put on. This version does not come on bracelet. The bracelet version doesn't have the nice white border on the dial. If you want the white on dial then buy this version and buy the bracelet or aftermarket bracelet separately.
Thanks for the heads-up on the radio / atomic phone app info... I've heard of but haven't tried it yet.. weird how it works, it uses sound instead of radio waves with the phone really close to the watch.
Congrats on getting this nice Skyhawk! It's a great watch.. Perhaps some markets like Europe or Asia have different combos available like yours with the bracelet and white ring.
Or maybe someone ordered both models and preferred the all blue version on the bracelet, and swapped the blue watch with white ring to the bracelet and sent it back for a refund. Then put the all blue watch onto the leather strap and kept it. The blue with the white ring on the bracelet is a good looking watch. Personally I like both.
The 2023 edition is even more beautiful than this one. Also, dude, you have to stop moving the watch all over, one can not see the face of it well enough.

Good question. Unlike my G-Shocks, I don't believe the Skyhawks have the capability to move the hands out of the way.

There is a app to connect / update the atomic watches with.- radio wave sync. Beautiful watch... hope your still enjoying it.

Some versions of this watch come with the bracelet so there is one available that fits it.
Weird. I bought the bracelet version on ebay and it came with the white ring. The picture on ebay showed the non-white ring.

There are two models (barring the limited edition ones): one with white chapter ring and another with blue.
