    I rarely pull out my 2.0Ah amp. The 2.0Ah doesn't have the torque with the hammer or drill. I always clip on a 4.0Ah when using any of my V20 tools (hammer, drill, week-eater, blower and edger). The weight factor isn't a factor with me. Maybe I'll use one if I ever pick up a V20 Dremel or a battery adaptor for their USB charger.

    Why can't they just have one for all tools? My jig won't work on the one that came with the drill. Am I missing something.

    I bought a set of tools, mostly using the sawzall and grinder. Both the 2 and 4amp battery are not enough for both of those. Both power and longevity is lackluster. For instance, when I use a 2ah battery, my grinder and sawzall both will cut out power on such a simple thing as a 1" root. However I got a 6ah battery and that works amazing with the grinder and sawzall both. I highly recommend a bigger battery if you're using these power tools for serious work instances. I also just picked up a 9ah battery that im really excited to try on the grinder as the grinder tool will cut off power once it reaches a "limit". Definitely nothing like milwaukee fuel tools, but it will work just fine to get jobs done in almost as much time.

    • @jjrock5
      @jjrock5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Agreed. It is well documented that higher amp hour batteries not only provide longer battery life but also give the tool more power output.

    • @SofaKingWeTodd
      @SofaKingWeTodd ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @jjrock5 Just want to add a bit of update: The 9ah battery is king. It lasts a full day of cutting concrete and beveling pipe, sometimes multiple days. I do highly recommend using the slow charger over the quick charger, though. I've already seen a difference in battery drain with the quick charger. I literally only use my 9ah and 6ah batteries anymore, and my 4ah battery is a backup. I've used my sawzall up against a milwaukee and its outlasted my coworkers setup so craftsman has great potential still. I do plan on upgrading to all milwaukee in the near future. Just using up my 2 year warranty before then.

    I agree that the battery size depends on the project. We were cutting up pallets, and using our Black and Decker recip saw. No way were we going to get away with using the 2ah batteries. We used the Porter Cable 4ah batteries that I modified.
