Man I am glad you are doing the recycling bit, no matter what it is. I used to do that 40 years ago, when I lived in Texas. But, with one difference, I always closed the lids on the dumpsters. That way when I went back around no one bitched me out for letting their dumpster fill up with water. I tend to think of it as a courtesy for letting me dive there next time. But, after a while they stopped all that. Man that looked like a good pizza! You sure find neat stuff. Saturday evenings is a good quiet time to dive. That filing cabinet looked better than the one I got, discounted, at Office Depot. Man, you never should leave a good piece of wood/plywood behind, that stuff is like gold if you go buy it. You got a good haul. I’ll subscribe and give a high five!
I live by a army base the amount of good stuff the soldiers and their families throw away is unbelievable. A lot of times they get stationed at another base and don't have the time or space to take their property with them so it goes on the street on in the dumpsters.
Dudes going dumpster diving in running shoes and blue superman socks = Highest lvl of dumpster king.
I would never go dumpster diving without work boots or some much more protective boots.

I wished I had been with him in America and worked as a trash collector, to take care of my family, and my sick mother 😥😥 because my country not good and the government don't give us some work and job 😟

I have heard that the old out dated beer and stuff like you found , is still good , maybe not to drink , but take it home and open it up and pour around the plants in your yard and it is good for your flowers and bushes around your house .

Hey mike love watching your adventures i do the same here in australia i also collect the cans and bottles plastic and glass they are worth 10 cents each or your case a dime each i have a wool bail in my ute to collect them as well i get about $40.00 each one as well as the scrap anyway keep up your adventures

Considering its size and shape, it's likely cast brass, not machined! Cast metals brings far less than milled metals! A shame, but true. Still, it's worth more than scrap iron and a worthy find if only because it was kept out of a landfill!

The "just plastic" valve from the pool dumpster is worth $40-45. Lookup Jandy Valve. Just FYI. Pool stuff is $$$.

You should go to plumbing and HVAC companies and see if you can get dumpster scrap from them. They sort alot of scrap but many pieces slip by
The big green Watts backflow preventer is definitely brass, probably with bits of stainless inside, such as the guts of the ball valves.
Gota be careful with big backflow preventers. Here in Florida scrap yards WILL NOT buy them with out a plumbers license or commercial plumbing license. You can try chopping them up with a saw zall in smaller pieces and mixing it up with other brass.
Mike I love you and your videos they show the real things . I get upset when you find things that have an expiration date by ya month or so or is about to go out of date and you won’t have anything to do with them. Do you understand that there are homeless people out there you could donate the things to. Have you ever wondered where your next meal was coming from or been so hungry that you would eat anything? Think about this when you come up on some of this type of things next time. Please keep your videos as real and true as they are and God Bless you and your family.

That omega unit is a GM style AC compressor I forget the model off hand but it fits 1960's all the way through the 1980s. I'd sell it if it works.
That is A6 compressor.
Those 5gallon buckets can be resold to fishing shops, up to $5 each

fasten one of the short ends of a 6x9 tarp to a broomstick, or piece of pvc pipe, and the other to your cab bulkhead wall, and roll it and unroll it over your scrap crap. i used to clean up rentals, and had to cover my load to go to the landfill, so i made one of those deallyo's to keep the tarp where i needed it, when i needed it. i also used it to cover alum. cans when i took them to the yard so they stayed put.

I have tried it once and it seems to have helped my flowers and bushes grow stronger and better than before . Oly tried it once . Because , I had only found two - twelve packs and then I moved to a different place before I ever found anymore . Just thought I'd let you know , Mike .
Mike, Great Channel enjoy watching! Why do you leave behind 5 - 7 Gallon clean plastic buckets. They sell for $5 in big box stores.

Yes 4 years exp on beer is toooooo much & since no deposit it's not worth dumping them either. I've drained cases of expired beer when my folks owned a restaurant, it's nasty & I live in a cold state where it hadn't sat out in the sun.
An unscrupulous person would say sell it to teenagers who don't know better.
A person with scruples would say sell them to teenagers they don't know better & will be turned off of beer for forever.

that hunk of brass is a back flow preventer used in public water systems.
Some one is going to watch this stuff and say , Thats the voice for (cartoon character) and just like that you got an Oscar.
There's no deposit for cans where he lives so the entire dumpster of cans wld get him a buck or two. That doesn't seem worth the effort & stink of draining majorly expired beer.
@@loveyourselfplease6842 Interesting I have a marvelous device at my house, in fact I have 3 working because not only do I dumpster dive but I repair the stuff they so lazily tossed out. It's a pressure washer and it's not gas its electric flip a switch turn a valve and grab the gun you are in for some pressure washing fun. Not sure you can film that ,water mist on the camera noise blocking the sound.
BTW I don't think I said anything about taking cans I would use the beer in the cans for a stew , or gravy it's food and really gives a gravy body.
Geaux Frugal-Lol, so frustrating. This has happened before but only once, I respond to one comment, in this case someone hounding Mike because he didn't spend time loading up the beer, bring it home & dump every can, but for some reason it ends up under someone else's comment. I know TH-cam isn't perfect but this can certainly lead to some misunderstandings, thank goodness you're nice.
@@loveyourselfplease6842 A blessing from a blessing, both Mike and I recently shared great reason to feel blessed. Laura went dead center Houston and my home in Morgan CITY La we all were spared. Sad anyone has to deal with Hurricanes we should have houses that can survive tornado power systems that are redundant and you know just better than we currently do things.
