Completely Draining Flooded Pond By Unclogging Bridge With Massive Surge Of Water

- I do not encourage anyone to enter culverts, unclog anything, or enter flooded areas as it can easily become deadly without the proper training
I unclog drains for fun in my spare time (I have been trained in culvert inspections for years with private co.) and I am osha trained.
Exploring anything abandoned can be dangerous or deadly without experience. I don't encourage anyone to enter any abandoned structures. Not only is safety a concern, but often times its illegal, and when possible I seek out permission from the owner or local police. I simply go to document its history before it's gone forever and I leave things the way I find them. I only take pictures and only leave footprints. I assume all the risks and responsibility before doing this. Please don't attempt to do this on your own. There could be nails, asbestos, falling concrete, soft floors, animals, or other hazards. Thanks for watching.

The sound of the water flowing is so soothing. Thanks!
I immediately had to pee though 😂

I picture Mr. and Mrs Beaver sitting in their lodge when they notice the pond level dropping. They look at each other and say "POST 10!!!!"
The Beaver Dam Terminator. I'll be back. l
Mrs Beaver probably has babies in this season, so it's all up to Mr Beaver to do the scouting and maintenance. And in a month or 2 he will go help with the parenting and teach the youngsters how to be a beaver. And then they all work together to undo the work of the Bogeyman With The Rake

😄😁😆😅😂🤣😂😅😆
It’s always a miracle how these beavers build these berms. How stable and well constructed. Thanks again for that video.
like God put it there, I am always impressed!
There's no such thing as beavers. This was the work of Sasquatch.
The size of this one was huge! Was a bit afraid for you of the rushing water. Over the years just realize your quite aware of what you doing. Appreciate Post. Beautiful area, nice to get a glimpse of momma and baby moose. ALOT of water. ♥️👍🪵🦫🪵
OK, I really miss the drain unclogging but this... this was pretty epic
The amount of biodiversity and natural processes occurring there are incredible. Thank you for taking the walk and showing us more of the landscape.
Years later and he’s still at it, great work providing a public service!
You must be exceptionally strong and fit because to do this type of excruciating work almost non-stop is amazing!
There's going to the gym fit...and then there's "Ripping Apart A Massive Beaver Dam" fit!!!
Agreed
Great job. The local road authorities owe you a great thank and should purchase you new tools!
A major unclogging, with bonus moose: that's a win-win!!
Where is the moose?

Life isn't life without Post 10!
I watch you everyday and not ever get tired of your posted video vlogs extras, and etc.
I really enjoy your camping videos, and your backyard updates with the frog ponds.
Thank you for all that you do ❤
I've literally just watched one where he camped in a culvert for the night in winter with the silver blankets as wind breaks.
NICE!
B1: “Hey Shirl, what’s all that noise”
B2: “No idea, Earl”
• Hey Shirl, feel that! The water’s moving. It’s almost, like, it’s FLOWING somewhere.
• Well, go check out the bridge.
• AUGH!! It’s that Post10 animal that moose warned u about!
• NOOOO! Let’s get to the reserves! We have to stop it!
• Stop Earl - you know we can’t do anything until it leaves
• But the water level! You know what I’ll betcha it’s that family from 2 miles downstream. They’ve ALWAYS been envious!
• Oh stop. I’m telling you the stories are true - it DOES exist!
• We’ll catch my tail in a pile of 🫎 💩 We’ll just have to wait until dark. We’ve done it before. Only thing is we’ll have to tolerate all those annoying little fish.
• True, Earl. True.
This is a big one. I love to see how hard he works to get the job done. I also rather watch post 10 instead of the debate. But I always love to watch him instead of most things. Good job today. Keep up the good work. The beavers may hate you but I love you for what you do
This man is a asset to your country... rienie from Cape Town South Africa
You were so fortunate to see the Moose Mama 8 Baby! Those beavers sure did pack a lot in under that bridge. Listening to the rushing water was refreshing and relaxing. The beaver's scout will go back to the den and report, " That fellow has been here again! We gotta get busy soon!" Oh, you found their lodge! Neat! What a beautiful lake and swamp! I love swamps. Every kids should have the chance to explore and enjoy them. About 45 years ago I agreed to keep a friend's little 4 yr. old boy for the afternoon. Other families were coming down to fish and play in the water so he would just be one more kid. Well... his mama said he wasn't allowed to go outside or get dirty- He came with his dolls and some toys. As soon as his parents left we put shorts on him and some sandals and he went outside with everybody else to play like a normal kid! He had the best time and got dirty and caught a fish and some frogs. His mama had a kiniption fit when they picked him up. She told me he had NEVER BEEN DIRTY in his life! We bathed and dressed him and he started crying to stay with us! His daddy was laughing and said they would come back! You are living the dream being outside! Keep bringing us along!
A happy ending! I always traveled with a complete change of clothes for my son when he was young. If I had a boy who never got dirty, I don’t know what I would do with him because I’m the one he is following out into the water, sand, etc.
My Mom hated dirt, smells. And dirt and smells were my natural elements. I was not her favorite person.
Never exposed to dirt and germs equals a life full of allergies
Heck yeah!!! 1h + with Post10 , I'll take it all day long 👌
Great camera angle, really shows the water line and drop.
Rake companies should be sponsoring your videos. Go post 10! Go!!!
Wow that was sketchy! I know you wouldn’t put yourself in danger, but still scary.
I think this is probably the best beaver dam video I've seen from you. Watching the water flow through the dam at the beginning was cool, you got to see big chunks of debris getting washed away, you could see the water quality change when a new layer of silt was disturbed, and that beautiful Primary Pond at the end.
That was very satisfying to watch - and a ton of work for you! I kept thinking, “I wonder if his back is getting sore.”
Great video post 10. The force of that water was crazy
Thanks Post 10 that was a big one, skilfully removed, very enjoyable to watch.
Post10, you are my reminder that there is a better world out there beyond the news. Thank you!❤
My favorite man back in my youtube recommendations!
One of your most satisfying videos in a while. Working conditions must have sucked, but man, watching that gap of daylight grow, very satisfying and relaxing. To watch. Anyhoo, thanks man, and great job!
Post, I've seen you take on some crazy blockages, but this is your best!
Exactly what I've been waiting for.
I was gonna say this feels a lot like Maine and then I read your channel description. I grew up in the woods and always at ponds and swamps, really cool to see this again and good job with the beaver dam!
One of your best post ever ! That was some back breaking work, your a boss !
This has to be one of the toughest dams you've cleared. The beavers made a really good construction job on this one. But still couldn't beat you! 👏👏🙌
You are the superman of beaver dam removal. Love your videos they are the best.
I'm glad you were being very careful. The power of fast-moving water is crazy strong.
Thanks Post10 for taking us along!😊
It amazes me how strong the beavers can build these dams. It takes a lot of muscle to release areas bit by bit. And then in a couple of days, they repair it.
So satisfying watching the river flow. Getting rid of all that build-up of debris. Thanks P10 !
So, I'm spending an hour watching a very mundane thing because the noise makes my ears happy and there's a thrill of danger for the guy on screen. My dudes, we're watching NASCAR.
Thats secondary pond was beautiful Posty. Thanks for taking the hike
Good job on that. You should invest in a hardhat if you're going to be working that close to I-beams
Dear god, what a massive dam. Respect for unclogging that piece of work by yourself!
I was so worried you'd flood the Big High Boots with the water so deep there! Thanks for the wonderful video, plus the brilliant service you provide by your maintenance of the roads 😊
Beautiful scenery and nature! Thanks for posting! Greetings from Texas! 😻🙏🙏🙏
Enjoying the third year watching you from 🇬🇧 you deserve a medal sometimes! Keep up the good work.
It’s always amazing to me just how well constructed beaver dams really are. They’re persistent too, and will probably be back to repair what you’ve done. At least for now, the road is safe. Good job.
Vary satisfying and even enjoyed your walk about the pond. Thank you seen your videos off and on for years.🎉🎉
You do a great job Post 10. Keep doing what you do because its good to watch ..
I love your water videos postie. Keep em coming. Am also looking forward to your next truck camp video. Thanks from the UK.
2:57 When the dam came into view 🤯
The moose and the calf at the beginning was awesome
Just what I needed. Thanks man.
Post 10 for President. He has my vote!
Such a beautiful place in the world. Thank you for showing us so we can benefit from the peace and beauty of nature. The big pond you walked to looks really healthy. What a great place to just stop, breathe deeply and be in the present.
That was one of your best unclogging!!! A lot of work, but that was a really good opening!!WTG
You are your usual informative and interesting video. I always learn something new with you and enjoy the breathtaking scenery you manage to find. Which I'm sure is prevalent where you live. Thanks again.
Think about how many trips those little guys made, carrying two or three sticks at a time. To see it all washed away. Like our lives in a way🤣🇺🇸
That got dark quickly!
I'm going to start calling you Tom Sawyer, because you make this look like so much fun, lol! It's so satisfying. And I can watch knowing the beavers aren't being harmed in any way or you wouldn't do it.
Someone please code an app for relaxation/sleep, where it's just the sounds of Post 10 unclogging or removing dams.
Every now and then a seductive voice whispers "big high boots", "beaver deceiver", "oh wow", "hello everyone", or "idiot excavator".
yaaas
And "look at those spiders!!!"
Do I have to? Not a spider fan!
@@MelanieCravensYeah, that’s the only downside to these incredible videos. I’m arachnophobic and really would rather not be introduced to Postie’s spider friends lol.
There is an app for that. It's called TH-cam! With premium you can just turn the screen off and relax to the gentle sounds and occasional.. whhhOOOOOP! When he syncs the cameras 😊
Easily number 1 of my top 5! Nice job.
Excellent video!
This job was epic. Well done Post 10
48:08 it's amazing how much the water went down
I'm right there with you Bud , hacking away. . . very calming actually 😊
Unlike the debate, this is entertaining and satisfying.
It was very interesting and beautiful video. You make very good job! Greetings from Poland.
Very interesting and relaxing. Enjoyed watching open up the blockage. Showed things I would have never noticed before. Thank you for clearing the blockage. 😉
I've watched you since the beginning. This was massive. You are so strong. I love it! ❤️ ❤
Post 10 for President !!!
We love this. Thank you, good job, and also giving us a lens into northern Maine
I bet your heart, and lungs are in good shape. No doubt you have good grip strength. Amazing work on a huge dam. It looked impossible when you started.
We don't need no stinking excavator, we've got post10! Be safe young man. Parts of this had me concerned, but you're the pro.
This one looked tough. You sure are strong to keep working so long. I know your arms had to be tired! Great job! The video is excellent. I loved the animals!
Why...is it that you never have a walking staff? I found the perfect piece of wood on one camping trip, I removed the bark, sanded the surface with sand from around the campsite. I wrapped and braided some leather for about a foot and a half around where my hand naturally rests on it. It's about 2 to 2 1/2 inches in circumference, and about five feet tall. It's been my favorite piece of equipment on camping or hiking trips. Please create one for yourself! I worry that you will fall or get stuck somewhere and end up seriously hurt! You do great work
Fantastic effort. You must have been exhausted. And what a beautiful part of your country. Your posts are my escape from the world so thank you for that.
The beautiful equilibrium of nature: Beavers going "This seems like a good spot to flood" and Post 10 going "Excuse me, that's a road."
As someone who suffers from the long term effects of lyme disease, watching you walk through all that tall grass give me the heebie jeebies! I know you must take serious precautions, but still, it freaks me out!
What a workout! Loving the noise of the water 🩵
Ridiculously soothing.
LOVE thias one. you showed it when itsempty finally!!!
Awesome
I can’t remember when I started watching Post 10’s videos but he’s enjoyable to watch and listen too!!! I do remember post clearing out roads though.
Of all the channels i watch and follow, this is my favorite one ❤️
One beaver is probably saying another beaver. That dam guy is breaking apart the dam. Your videos are entertaining to watch.
Midwest Magic Cleaning sent me to your channel. What good work you do!
Love watching these. Really just brings me down to earth & my only interest is you being safe and the amazing things beavers do in nature.
This was very informative! I appreciate your explanations as you go along!
That was an interesting un-clogging ! Thanks !
Love watching your videos, post10, please wear eye protection! ❤
This video randomly came across my recommends, and I'm down for these types of videos now, lol. One piece of feedback: 51:00 When doing that kind of timelapse it'd be worth removing the video audio and tossing in some royalty free music or something. Lots of great options for that like Kevin MacLeod's work.
That was a damn good unclogging, hopefully it stays that way, I worked up a sweat just watching you.😊
0:50 GREAT catch!!! Mosse and baby!!
Wow my kitty and I thoroughly enjoyed the sound of the rushing water. Yes, better than politics.
What a wonderful job you did. You must have been a bit tired after all that. Saved a few trees 🌲 I bet.
You're a true Horsefighter!❤
Like honestly dream job dude 😍
Atta boy Post10 👍👍, you do more work than the mass dot does, we gotta get you in the road repair division 😀😀
Excelente, buen trabajo. Saludos desde México
Listen, at least he uses a rake now. Remember his early clips, when he used his bare hands ?!? Drove me crazy, I'd post telling him to wear work gloves 🧤🧤🧤. Great job as always Post 10 😃
That's Amazing!!😮
Very informative and well shot vid of your work. My family are in awe at your drive and determination. Greeting from France. BtW, my wife was asking whereabouts in the world are you?

haha, starting to show your age my friend, the young Post10 would have cleared the whole thing, taking out either end till it broke apart whilst yelling in excitement! Time gets us all in the end, Love your content man!
