Coming from the UK, I can't get my head around how much good stuff American stores throw away in dumpster. It's just so wasteful.

Always keep Bungie cords handy, always put a box on the ground to put stuff in right away, always take the top junk out and outa your way first you can always throw it back in. Keep a messenger bag handy for small things, you need to drive your van, the car is waaaay too small. 👍👍👍👍👍

Hi Stevensteph, i watched a vid where you left a dented metal drink bottle but kept the lid. To remove dents from metal bottles fill to brim with water, screw the top on and freeze. As the water expands to ice it will push the dents out. Repeat till all dents are out. Love your vids.

years ago when I worked retail, we discovered the girls were putting things in the dumpster and writing them off as damaged, and later going back and picking up the merchandise. Yep, its steeling, but this is not, but be careful you might run into someone who put this stuff in the trash for later.

I love it when you give us a closer look at the Donation pile, and…….. your volume for both of you was perfect. I was so happy that nothing was sliced or painted. Maybe someone at the store is watching your videos and realizes that they are missing the opportunity to help those less fortunate.

I noticed he was quiet too ! He sounds a little congested . Thinking he's a little under the weather ! Sometimes it bugs me he's sitting in the car while Steph is trying to manage those bigger boxes.!

These are always fun to watch, in my younger days before cellphones & social media, i dumpster dove ( we actually called it “ Alley Hopping” lol!) and loved exploring abandoned farms & school houses & churches & the like! It was such a fun time!!!!

Well done that stuff was great you got - I used to love going to the skips with my dad.He used to pick his friend up from work and he worked at the skips, I got lots of stuff and almost every kid in our village had a bike cause Pat my dad’s friend would keep all the bikes and my dad would fix’s them for the kids ❤️😊 good times

You might want to take the tags off the items you find so that they can’t be returned to the store. I’m pretty sure that’s why stores slash and paint the things they throw away. I know of a store that donated some things and didn’t do that and people brought them back for a refund or credit.
That is so sad that they would do that. Makes is harder for the nice people to get a good deal. And to help others like these people do. That sort of thing is what helps to raise prices on items. Ty both for helping others.
I used to go diving over 30 years ago (before it became trendy!) and my best find ever was mint condition Vintage Barrie and Ken, Skipper dolls…and ALL the clothes and small items included! Do you know what I did with it all? I let our 7-8 year old daughters have them! I know I could have sold them and got a lot of money! But motherly love! The things you do eh?! 😘
I also used to go DDing 30 years ago. One of the best hauls I got was enough laundry detergent for a year from a store that was closing down. Ah the good ol days when store owners didn't care if you got stuff.

Research fact: the least articles of clothing given to homeless people are socks, gloves and hats. And to think: those are the pieces of clothing they mostly need to keep their limbs and heads warm!

I thought perhaps the wheels could be taken off and the feet capped. If one wheel couldn't be fixed. I saw there was hardly any room in the car for it. I think she did right at the time throwing it back but I did feel it as such a shame.

When you find stuff that you can’t use, sell whatever, what do you do with the stuff? When I saw these shoes I immediately thought people who have lost limbs could use them!

They ship single shoes to a place in Arizona other usable items that they don't need or want go to one of the many thrift stores in their area. Pet supplies/crates/carriers etc go to a pet adoption shelter for them to either use or sell.
They really do their part to keep alot of stuff out of the landfill!!
