      Guitar At Work
      Having to work at going to a rest position as I pick the fill, didn’t really ever do it before and of course accuracy suffered, so learning a new skill while breaking a bad habit. 😯
      And seeing the timing of these both on the videos and sheets helps fit them in. The #5 walk up I had done before but never seemed to get it to work on time and now I see why.
      Thanks again Shane.

      @@GuitarAtWork Shane, You are an outstanding guitar instructor. Your excellent tutorials answer my curiosities and questions about what I want to learn. This tutorial about lead fills goes a long way towards satisfying my desires to learn more from you. I have also looked at the BOSS DR-O1S Rhythm Partner in comparison to what I have learned about the BeatBuddy. Do you have any experience with the BOSS DR-01S?

      And, I would love to see a closer look at each finger being placed when you are showing the fills. I plan to tackle Neil Young's, Needle and the Damage Done Tutorial. I love the individual songs of NY's note runs in many of his songs. Hopefully, I can encourage you do make a tutorial about how he does this 🙂

    I usually play with my pinky resting on the guitar.Recently I have been told to change that habit to be more agile, for playing something what you have shown in the video.But is it advisable to play without anchoring?I mean you anchor with your wrist on the bridge.

    • @GuitarAtWork
      @GuitarAtWork  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Anchoring with wrist is generally better Rohan - it ensures that the pick stroke comes from the wrist and not the arm. More accuracy and more detail. Cheers,
