Colombia 🇨🇴 doesn’t have much oil … I mean the amount that’s there can Supply Colombia with about 20 years of oil the nation needs to run on. One of the greatest resources Colombia has is miles upon miles of high nutrient filled land to sustain the growing of food for millions of people .. and that right there’s is the verse that says “ Swords will be turned into plowshares “ .

HUNKER DOWN

Hunker Down
If a boy is sweet
The empathetic boys, who are sweet, nice, kind and good
Unbelievably are the children that are not understood
They are ignored in school and sport for the bad kids that are rewarded for their bad mood
And sit in class without being called on
Because to talk out of turn would be rude
And sit on the bench with their feelings, and just brood
Well, the adults around them just stood
Ignored for their empathy, and ignored for their kind
The bad kids get all the attention
And the good kids really do mind
To reward good behavior for once would be sublime
I had to raise tough girls, because of the man up men in the world
But I will raise gentle boys, because when we raise gentle girls, they become tough men’s toys
But when we learn kindness, instead of brutality
Man up will be no more, and we can hunker down
Hunker down instead of man up and man up will be no more
No matter who was in line first
And no matter what the score
When we show off by being kind and good
We will be showing all that is that we finally understood
Hunker down instead of man up and don’t run into the bullets Frey
Hunker down instead of man up and fighting and war will end this day
Hunker down with kindness is the virtue for the world to save
Bravery is the prime virtue for without it, the others decay
So I will raise gentle boys who are romantic and believe in true love
I will raise gentle boys, and trade in the eagle for a dove
I will raise gentle boys, who hunker down to save the world
I will raise them gently, so there can be peace and true love (between boys and girls)

When random acts of kindness are trending through the land
When kind becomes the magic word
And the thing we do is lend a hand
We won’t worship a bird of prey, but one of peace and love
When kindness is trending, instead of snuggies and skittles
Everyone will have homes
No one will be starving for vittles
There will be full bellies at dinner tables instead of bombs
If our minds move in the direction of our most dominant thought
Peace, love and kindness is, perhaps what we ought
Steering away from bread and circuses
Rather to help the needy with health and human services
Brothers and sisters we are all one
Separation is painful from the real and the unicorn
And it is surely not as much fun
As to live in a democracy, not in need of agrarian reform
We need to hunker down and learn to share
Poor people are not vulgar we need to learn to care

Love you Amy and Nermeen
What democracy?
Yet some of those same human rights groups are the heaviest critics of Nayib Bukele in El Salvador.
Don't you think they are right to criticize forced disappearances, random arrests, absence of trial, deaths in prison? Imagine it happening to you or a loved one one sunny day. Don't wanna replace gang terror with state terror.
@@desamsterIt worked !
Salvador people are happy to be able to walk the streets !
Long live Bukele !
@@Remychat9 I was watching a report where a guy was basically saying the same thing until his daughter was taken into custody on false charges, never to be heard from again. Still, I'm happy for the people of El Salvador.
@@desamster errors and injustices are a shame but unavoidable in certain cases.
The thing is there are going to be thousands of daughters and sons that will not disappear or end up murdered by the criminal maras anymore.
The end justifies the means in emergencies like this.
El Salvador had the highest homicide rate in the world !
@@Remychat9 Getting interrogated on false charges is one thing but then disappearing, never to be heard from again? Under rule of law you're entitled to your rights and a fair trial. I guess cases are frequent enough for human rights organizations to ring the alarm bell. Good on them, that's their job. Again, it's great that Salvadoreños feel safe to walk the streets again but state power needs to be kept in check and rule of law safeguarded.
The Norwegian lost all credibility when he “both-sided” the genocide in Gaza and said the US must put pressure on both parties, as if the US is not an active genocidal participant
Why produce so much babies when you are poor 😢😢😢
It's interesting that the NATO forces and the United States in particular are not helping Colombia or Panama. Apparently they have nothing that the United States needs. You put the Navy on each side of that isthmus put the army on the north side in the Columbian army on the south side and just meet in the middle and that conflict would end fairly quickly
Hey my friend, NATO stands for North ATLANTIC Treaty Organization. As opposed to North American. NATO was specifically design to deter Communist (Specifically) Russian aggression in Europe. Central America is not their Jurisdiction
The answer to your question is quite simple, the Colombian goverment/politicians will always have more interest in stealing the money meant to make improvements, in other words, if there is a position and advantage to be taken, that is the focus. The Colombian citizen has never been, and will possibly never be, in their best interest.
Norwegian Refugee council? The country that bombed the NordStream piplines together with the US, its closest "friend" - in order to make Israel the energy hub for Europe (a plan that failed) ? Why is nobody talking about the Mossad's training of paramilitary groups in Colombia?
... NO, THE U.S IT IS NOT INVOLVED !
do what!!! It's not our problem!
That totally sucks.
Colombia, Venezuela, Pakistan, Bangladesh.
If you have valuable resources.....Expect the US to try and control your government.
Extinction of pure organic science, creation.
Who is buying the cocaine ?
This could be a snapshot of the US future.
The Congo and the Sudan are much larger crises
What is the president doing?
I thought you liked armed groups that don't care about their own people?
Good thing they had the peace accords. I’m sure this communist president is not at all to blame, since he was a “former” gorilla fighter.
this continues to be a non-issue for American media/ government because it doesn't make them money
