Loved watching wrestling with my Dad when I was a kid and seeing those superhero physiques.I remember all those guys and helped motivate my training. Thanks for the stroll down memory lane.
Joe Mofo I have zero interest in bodybuilding , never had any to be honesf but I've subscribed to this channel cuz Nick is really entertaining for some reason.
Sting has always been the man! I've been Team Athlean for awhile now and was pumped when I first found out he was working with Jeff Cavaliere. Lex Luger was an awesome physical specimen as well! Great vid/vids Nick!
XlbertoIwano XL He def does look like bacon here at 1:38 and then you got cena here at 2:12 who also looks like bacon. I think Kevo Bakes was secretly a body builder
Yup, gotta give you that. If I could pick any wrestler physique for me to go through life looking like, it would be Rick Rude, no question. Shredded like an anatomy chart, perfect size, i.e tall and looked like a superhero, but not monsterous where you scare women and can't get on roller coasters. Women loved him, and men wanted to look like him. I wouldn't want to be a monster that would scare women and make it so I literally couldn't sit comfortably at a desk or ride a roller coaster or something. Rude was basically the heroic superhero physique.
Superstar Billy graham is the man. The man with power, so sweet to be sour, Great physique an exceedingly karismatic, it's a joy just to watch his interviews
I lift barbell plates. I eat T-bone steaks. I'm sweeter than a German chocolate cake. How much more of me can you take? I'm the reflection of perfection, the number one selection, I'm the man of the hour, the man with the power, too sweet to be sour, I’m the SUPERSTAR BABY!!!
I'm addicted to nicks videos. I think that fact that bodybuilding isn't on tv, makes it unique and even more interesting. It's great that we have nick to tell us about the history of bodybuilding. Nicks the best all day!
Thank you for making this video - I am 38 and collected sports illustrated/ wcw /wwf magazines from 11 years old - I was always interested in the parallel between bodybuilders and those who would star in Wrestling federations - this has been a great insight..
Here are some more. Even more obscure-Sid vicious recently competed in a few competitions, Razor Ramon competed pre-wrestling, Boogyman had competed and almost turned pro! Boby LAshley really should have if he did not....Chyna, Nicole Bass have competed in bodybuilding, Torri wilson & Trish in figure,
Tom Zenk wasn't mentioned. Look him up. He was a part of the short lived Can Am Connection with Rick Martel in the WWF, and was the Z Man in WCW for awhile. He was a Mr. Minnesota.
From what I understand, Brian Cage from PWG (aka "The Man They Call Cage" from Lucha Underground) is also another guy who does bodybuilding shows, and he also used to be in the WWE's developmental program as Kris Logan. Buddy of mine who frequents PWG shows has hinted this is probably the reason he hasn't tried to get back into the WWE (he doesn't claim to be a natty guy at all). Might be a lead to see just how much of a bodybuilding background the guy has.
10:25 Holy Shit! The size of Superstar Billy Graham in that picture! it's very telling that in every picture of Billy and Arnold, Arnold always looks in awe of him.
Of all the wrestlers past and present, the one who may have been a perfect bodybuilder would have been Rick Rude. Small waist, shredded physique, big arms and shoulders. What do you think???
Question: I am planning to compete in natural bodybuilding and in the USAPL in the next year or two. So I’m a powerbuilder. I wanna get back into boxing which I did when I was younger. Will I lose muscle and lose my PR’s? I was wondering if you would have any tips on if I should do it or if I shouldn’t cause I’ll lose muscle and my PR’s. I’m looking for tips on how to keep my PR’s consistent and my muscle building consistent while doing the intense cardio that boxing consist of. I just turned 18 years old and I have 2.5 years of lifting under my belt.
Look up katsuya kitamaru. He wrestles for njpw and imo the best body in wrestling. He juiced which I believe got him suspended from college wrestling team I believe.
I saw this guy training at gold's gym venice california. He was the only bodybuilder i had any respect for because he was training like friggin mad man.He was doing bentover rows with 315lbs!!!! I don't respect them doing steroids as i am a natural bodybuilder.
Vince: So what's your name?
- Ricky Blood.
Vince: That name sounds ridiculous. We're calling you Ricky Steamboat.
I heard John Cena stopped competing because when he stepped on stage no one could see him.
You win the internet.
Tony Atlas and The Rock's dad, Rocky Johnson were the most aesthetic tag team ever.
Nick's Top 10: Anime Reveals

I saw Randy Savage competing in the 1980 Mr. Louisville. He was a local circuit wrestler in those days and not nationally known.
Is it me or sting look like Kevin bacon?
I see it
It's you
XlbertoIwano XL He def does look like bacon here at 1:38 and then you got cena here at 2:12 who also looks like bacon. I think Kevo Bakes was secretly a body builder
The most aesthetically pleasing physique would be Ravishing Rick Rude.
Yup, gotta give you that. If I could pick any wrestler physique for me to go through life looking like, it would be Rick Rude, no question. A prime Rude could probably win the Mr. Olympia Physique category and likely even place in Classic Physique.
Right On
I miss the days of pro wrestlers being larger than life. Nowadays most are under 6ft and weigh around 200lbs.
At least now they won't die by the age of 40
I was thinking DUSTY ROADS for sure
Superstar Billy graham is the man.
The man with power, so sweet to be sour,
Great physique an exceedingly karismatic, it's a joy just to watch his interviews
Great overview of these great men! But, where's the late Tom Zenk, Tom McGhee, late Kerry Von Erich , late Jerry Allen and Jim Powers?
I lift barbell plates. I eat T-bone steaks. I'm sweeter than a German chocolate cake. How much more of me can you take?

I'm addicted to nicks videos. I think that fact that bodybuilding isn't on tv, makes it unique and even more interesting. It's great that we have nick to tell us about the history of bodybuilding. Nicks the best all day!
I still consider Davey Boy Smith as the best physique in WWE history.
@@thejmc4074 He was leaner towards the end of his career.
Triple H is missing, besides he's such a great bodybuilding fan, he did some competitions before wrestling
Thank you for making this video - I am 38 and collected sports illustrated/ wcw /wwf magazines from 11 years old - I was always interested in the parallel between bodybuilders and those who would star in Wrestling federations - this has been a great insight..
Thank you, Mr. Nick for making this video...
Again, pushed the thumbs up even before watching the video and again, not disappointed. Great info as always.
