I'd like to see a video on the contribution Poland made to US success in the Revolutionary War. It's shamefully under-taught as with most things in schools and colleges. I'm not Polish, but having lived there for over a decade and studying Polish history, I was amazed at the relationship Poland has with the US. There's a reason that Polish surnames are so prevalent in the Ohio basin and New England. It's not simple immigration - lands were awarded to Poles that came under the Polish kingdom to aid in the war. While the US was not the first to adopt a Constitution, the success of America's war against Britain was the underpinning of Poland following suit. This would make an awesome video guys, hope you'll look into it!
I read a fantastic book called Escape From Hunger and Premature Death that covered this war. It proposed that nutrition was a key factor in the colonies winning the war. The average colonial soldier had access to about 2000 calories a day, where the British had more like 1700. So, nutrition is key to the success of any venture.

(It's several years since I read it so I'm not 100% sure of all the details.)

Gotta love it when the infographics feeds false data and info even in a hypothetical situation. 18 years old isn't a kid, that's a legal adult in America.
Legally yes, but you know what they mean. 18 year Olds are still in high-school, if you see an 18 year old on the street, you'll think they're really young or a "kid"
Yeah, but if you are presenting FACTS, make sure you are presenting factual Information, not padding numbers to try and make your facts true. Cut off age in America for a legally defined kid is 17. 18 is classified as a adult.
You did not include the 5000 African Americans who fought on the British side for the promise of freedom, as well as the 5000 who fought on the American side for the same reasons.

Also the fact that US logistics and decentralized command is second to none. Our seals also have the best equipment our 800 billion dollar defense budget can give. Quality is a trademark of the United States special operations command. We worked with SAS before and they have their strengths and weaknesses just like we do. If you need anything 50 miles from water destroyed or killed, you send in the seals. If you want to go behind enemy lines for sabotage my money is on the SAS. The seals are the best in the world at CQB but SAS is the best in clandestine operations and sabotage. All special forces can’t be compared and shown which is definitively better because different circumstances call for different soldiers.
@@RealGodfromheavenso what sbs then mate ?
This is kinda the best new video idea you guys have been doing
Am I the only one waiting for more Alien War, Zombie war or Nuclear war 0-100 days?
no you're not. Cliffhangers!
I love the little passive-aggressive comments. "Driving on the wrong side of the road" 😂
I noticed they included the Wooly Mammoth in the one scene. This is important because not only the Native Americans but also Frontiersman reported encountering Living Mammoths in various parts of North America during early Colonial times.
imagine the British trying to fight 21st century guns with literal swords 💀💀
Imagine the Navy seals fighting the SBS and the SAS back then rahh they wouldn't even stand a chance
@@rutesantos5678
Might as well rant about James Bond as his SUPERIORITY 🤣
The SAS wants to say hello yank. 😂
fun fact two: the leading cause of death in children is NOT guns, it is cars
Nope, as of 2022, 2023 leading cause of death is firearms, eclipsing as the long time #1, motor vehicle accidents.
@@AutoToonsAnimation wrong.
Harry Turtledove has written several books on this type of Sci-fi alternative histories.
Casmir Pulaski
Every country in the worlds constitution was made because of Britain, the number one power.
If the Seals picked their shots, they might make their ammo last. Otherwise, it's the tactics of modern warfare and a musket
What do you mean if?
i still love these segments ngl
I would have thought training other special operations units would by far be the most benefit they could offer.
And that would be the green berets not seals.
What if Britiish sent their SAS/SBS?
Units that are used to being outgunned and underequipped with no support. They would thrive in the situation while seals would cry as soon as air cover is lost.
@@robbiepembertonid like to think SAS are equivalent to our Delta. Not the SEALs.
Love the quibs and sarcastic remarks imbedded within.🤣😁😝
But what if Britain sent back in time SAS or SBS ? Lol
As others have commented, these ideas would make for a great video game.
Plz jive SAS the respect it deserves they were the first to do SOC and happily shared their knowledge of the tactics strategies and training in order for us to have our SOC

The look on King George's face when his entire Navy is destroyed by 4 men.
I don't remember the title, but I think there was a book about this - only instead of Navy SEALS, it was a tank crew.
There was also a " Twilight Zone" episode where a tank crew along with their tank ended up at the Battle Of Little Big Horn ( Custer's Last Stand).
Harry Turtledove has written several counter-factual war books, like Guns of the South, where Afrikaner racists from the 22nd century sent AK-47s back in time to equip the Confederacy during the Civil War, which enabled the South to win, all so that the Afrikaners would have an ally in their own fight against the blacks. (It's several years since I read it so I'm not 100% sure of all the details.)
Was it "Tanks for the Memories"?
1:16 has the most hilarious history take. It definitely wasn't English territory for thousands of years 😂
as you can tell by my name i just got back with a group of navy seals from the revolutionairy war. They were hillarious. They of course took rifles. but also water/air-tight containers of .22LR and little 22 pistols with silencers and subsonic ammo.. deadly up to 40 feet if in the head. and their night vision. most of the work was done at night with thermals. they went after the cannons first, by morning the artillery crews were dead and big penises were drawn on the cannons. then they eliminated the ships. the close ones. just a buncha incindiery grenades. about 2 per ship. all you need for wood... waited till all were ready to toss them up and did it at once and swam away with scuba gear. then they hid in t he tree lines with their rifles and watched the hillarity ensue. repeat next evening.
The shade being thrown in this video has me dying
Gotta love it when the infographics feeds false data and info even in a hypothetical situation. 18 years old isn't a kid, that's a legal adult in America.
Spoken like an 18 year old
Thanks I actually linked a video for people so hopefully they educate themselves.
Nowadays kids don't seem to be adulting until their mid-twenties or so. Now get offa my lawn!
What size ratchets do other countries use to turn their metric sockets? 1/2” 3/8” and 1/4”.

apparently satire doesn't exist outside of America.
Sending Navy SEALS with their Hi-Tech equipments back in time will cause major time paradoxes.
You did not include the 5000 African Americans who fought on the British side for the promise of freedom, as well as the 5000 who fought on the American side for the same reasons.
Maybe because it was only 5000
“so if we fight you’ll let us have land right”

I have always thought of this, such an interesting idea
Having a squad of 4 Seals in the Revolutionary War is like having a fire team of 4 Halo Spartans in modern day. Super Soldiers.
2:46 The American measurement system jokes caught me off guard
What if the SAS also went back in time when the navy seals was there as well?
Would I be a closer fight???
'Merican's also were fighting for a breakfast of Coffee with Bacon & Eggs with Bacon & Cheese instead of the traditional English Breakfast of tea with grilled tomatoes, baked beans, blood pudding, mushrooms, sausages & eggs.

This premise would make for an entertaining show, if you ask me. Some scifi alternative fictional history mixed with action? I'd watch. There was an anime with a somewhat similar premise, it was called Gate. A portal opened in modern day Japan, and an army of fantasy medieval came through and tried to conquer. Japan said "lol" and sent an Army of soldiers, tanks, etc.
13:09 they would run out quickly
