Thanks for your tutorial. I still have a question. You used a font where the letters were basically all touching each other. What if you use a font where the letters don't touch to begin with? How do you connect them then?
Oh Michelle, I'm so sorry I didn't notice your question right away. It's really easy to bring letters closer together. You can do it before you ungroup the letters by using the Character Spacing slider in the Text Style box, or you can ungroup the letters like I do in the video, and move each letter closer using the arrow keys on your computer keyboard. I hope that helps!

If you made this into a stencil to be cut out, how would it know to cut out the insides of "a" and "o"?
It will cut out anything you type, including the middles of the open letters.
