BEWARE! this is a long comment. I hope you have the patience to read to the end. You have a new subscriber! Thank you for discovering and reacting my favourite singer. Angelina re-arranged the original song for this performance. She does this with many of her cover songs. Her fans call it "Angelinafying". r. My introduction to Angelina was on her first appearance at Norway's Got Talent and I didn't expect much from a 7 year old. Just a cute little girl, all nervous, rushing the song in parts, hesitating and then stumbling over or forgetting her words and generally acting her age and doing her best to get through a childish song like "Twinkle, twinkle little star". What did I see? Well, it was a seven year old child, with wild hair and gaps in her mouth, where there once were Baby teeth. And that was when the normal perception ended and things turned upside down. She confidently answered the questions put to her by a Judge. Declared she was going to sing a song by the legendary Billie Holiday. Gestured off stage for the technician to start the music and then started singing. The body of the 7 year old was still there but the voice wasn't. Or was it? I was surprised then and that surprise is still with me, some six years later. I have followed her career since I saw that first video on TH-cam and in the six years she has been singing publicly she has mastered many musical genres, including Blues, Country, Disco, Jazz,Pop, R&B and Soul, EDM and Rock and covered songs first performed by many famous singers,like Adele, Whitney Houston, Nancy and Frank Sinatra, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Lana del Ray, Gloria Gaynor, Elvis Presley, Louis Armstrong and many others. What is more extraordinary is that she takes ownership of every song she sings while still paying respect to the original. You will notice that she never goes into unnecessary theatrics. Never sings those high or low notes unless they are absolutely necessary. Never projects herself in any performance which says "look how good I am". She just sings the song as she feels it is meant to be sung. And I'll add an even more extraordinary item for you to consider, to show how unique she is. She has the innate ability not only to sing a song as emotionally as the song deserves but to be able to communicate those same emotions to the listener. As I have noted above, I have been following her career a long time and have listened to every interview she has given and every documentary about her and every performance she has ever given. What stands stands out for me is how a very shy and humble girl in her normal life, can be transformed into the perfect vehicle for the song she has chosen to sing, once she starts to sing. Although the gift of singing and all her performances appear to be effortless, Angelina works very hard to ensure that the one she is going to record reflects what she sees as the correct way to meld both lyrics and melody. You mentioned that she does not have her shoes on; it is deliberate on her part. When she was younger, she ended up giving her own shoes to a little girl who had no shoes. From then on she performed bare-foot to draw attention to the plight of small children with no shoes. Remember this was no shoes in NORWAY. It is also amazing how seriously the musicians take her and the great esteem with which they hold her. They could have been totally dismissive of her, but once they heard her open her mouth to sing, they realized they were part of something rare and special...

Her name is Daneliya Tuleshova. She is also 14 right now. Her musical style is more contemporary. She started much like Angelina did. She entered The Voice Kid's Ukraine at 10 yrs.old. Her blind audition of, 'Stone Cold' went viral and 58+ million views later she like Angelina is poised to rocket into the next level. She won that Voice competition at 10. She also started her youtube channel right after that show and by the time she auditioned for AGT 2020 on June 9th, she had 335,000 subscribers. A very good amount for a 10-13 year old. She had her successful audition where she sang a relatively unknown singer/ songwriter's song 'Tears Of Gold' by Faouzia. She is a Moroccan born Canadian. Well a week and a half later Daneliya broke through the 500,000 subscriber barrier, and now sits on 572,000 subscribers. You should watch her blind audition to see what she could do at 10, then watch her AGT audition and see where she is now.

BEWARE! this is a long comment. I hope you have the patience to read to the end. You have a new subscriber! Thank you for discovering and reacting my favourite singer. Angelina re-arranged the original song for this performance. She does this with many of her cover songs. Her fans call it "Angelinafying". r.
My introduction to Angelina was on her first appearance at Norway's Got Talent and I didn't expect much from a 7 year old. Just a cute little girl, all nervous, rushing the song in parts, hesitating and then stumbling over or forgetting her words and generally acting her age and doing her best to get through a childish song like "Twinkle, twinkle little star". What did I see? Well, it was a seven year old child, with wild hair and gaps in her mouth, where there once were Baby teeth. And that was when the normal perception ended and things turned upside down. She confidently answered the questions put to her by a Judge. Declared she was going to sing a song by the legendary Billie Holiday. Gestured off stage for the technician to start the music and then started singing. The body of the 7 year old was still there but the voice wasn't. Or was it? I was surprised then and that surprise is still with me, some six years later.
I have followed her career since I saw that first video on TH-cam and in the six years she has been singing publicly she has mastered many musical genres, including Blues, Country, Disco, Jazz,Pop, R&B and Soul, EDM and Rock and covered songs first performed by many famous singers,like Adele, Whitney Houston, Nancy and Frank Sinatra, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Lana del Ray, Gloria Gaynor, Elvis Presley, Louis Armstrong and many others. What is more extraordinary is that she takes ownership of every song she sings while still paying respect to the original. You will notice that she never goes into unnecessary theatrics. Never sings those high or low notes unless they are absolutely necessary. Never projects herself in any performance which says "look how good I am". She just sings the song as she feels it is meant to be sung. And I'll add an even more extraordinary item for you to consider, to show how unique she is. She has the innate ability not only to sing a song as emotionally as the song deserves but to be able to communicate those same emotions to the listener.
As I have noted above, I have been following her career a long time and have listened to every interview she has given and every documentary about her and every performance she has ever given. What stands stands out for me is how a very shy and humble girl in her normal life, can be transformed into the perfect vehicle for the song she has chosen to sing, once she starts to sing.
Although the gift of singing and all her performances appear to be effortless, Angelina works very hard to ensure that the one she is going to record reflects what she sees as the correct way to meld both lyrics and melody. The girl complimented Angelina on her shoes and Angelina noticed her scarred bare feet so she gave them to her, and the little girl told Angelina she would pray for her every day. You mentioned that she does not have her shoes on; it is deliberate on her part. When she was younger, she ended up giving her own shoes to a little girl who had no shoes. From then on she performed bare-foot to draw attention to the plight of small children with no shoes. Remember this was no shoes in NORWAY. It is also amazing how seriously the musicians take her and the great esteem with which they hold her. They could have been totally dismissive of her, but once they heard her open her mouth to sing, they realized they were part of something rare and special...

Her name is Daneliya Tuleshova. She is also 14 right now. Her musical style is more contemporary. She started much like Angelina did. She entered The Voice Kid's Ukraine at 10 yrs.old. Her blind audition of, 'Stone Cold' went viral and 58+ million views later she like Angelina is poised to rocket into the next level. She won that Voice competition at 10. She also started her youtube channel right after that show and by the time she auditioned for AGT 2020 on June 9th, she had 335,000 subscribers. A very good amount for a 10-13 year old. She had her successful audition where she sang a relatively unknown singer/ songwriter's song 'Tears Of Gold' by Faouzia. She is a Moroccan born Canadian. Well a week and a half later Daneliya broke through the 500,000 subscriber barrier, and now sits on 572,000 subscribers. You should watch her blind audition to see what she could do at 10, then watch her AGT audition and see where she is now.

Excuse me for my suggestion, but could you back up a second or two when you have to pause the video. I really lose the effect when you start out in the middle of her singing and thus, I’ve missed the whole effect of that portion of the song. Just a suggestion.
