She turn 15 in January, she was 12 when this was recorded. She’s not good...she is VERY good, she is insane.
and if she did NOT get the golden buzzer on AGT-C, maybe THIS song or another, like I have Nothing, could have been her second song... and the world would have been MORE exposed to her prowess and ability. Opportunity lost due to a buzzer. FOR SURE she would have been voted through, being done so deservedly, if not, then maybe she would have screwed up. I will argue with GOLDEN BUZZER fans forever on this point. It did her NO real favors, in future-spect or retrospect.
Adele, Amy Winehouse, etta James and other artists have been covered by Angelina - she does them all and adds flavour to their songs!

Angelina is the most stunning young singer I know, AND she is a great composer as well. There are no limits for her indeed. I am always puzzled that she manages to tear me up again and again, even when I have seen this video 50 times...
When a hit song is written for Angelina by her or another heads all over the world are going to explode....
She has just released one in past month "A Million Miles" it's about her recently past Grandfathers one died in 2019 and the other in 2018? .
@@GregPourciau I love Angelina's voice. And it was a wonderful idea to do a tribute to her grandfather as her first released single after signing with Republic. But in my opinion she has done many other songs that I'd rather listen to. No problem, she is the best I have ever heard. Lord willing, many more great songs will be coming.

I hope you take notice of the comments that her fans post,.So many reactors get het age wrong so so many times.Angelina was still 12 in this recording and as others have informed earlier she has only just turned 15. She is brilliant no matter what age but it's more mihd blowing if everyone new understands how young this musical genius actually is.
Agreed Derek . It’s one of my pet annoyances . Firstly I do appreciate new Angelina reactors finding her rabbit hole , but , I honestly have to say that if reactors are going to comment on Angelina’s age and analyse her voice according to her age , etc ,it should be basic reactors ‘ self training to actually find out 1 . When she was born , 2. The date of the clip And 3. Work out how old she actually is when singing in the clip ! Because making statements about her voice maturity, comparing it to an age-equivalent development , it’s just fraught with misrepresentations as there is a huge difference between age 12/13 range and 17\18. Thankfully there are many good reactors that do consider that finding out these simple facts are important details .

Great reaction to a vocal tour-de-force! Very informative. Yes, Lana Del Ray songs are "perfect" for Angelina. But since you've only looked at a few of her covers, you're possibly not fully aware of this, but so are songs by Etta James, Billie Holiday, Aretha Franklin, Gloria Gaynor, Adele, Amy Winehouse, Whitney Houston, Miley Cyrus, Nancy Sinatra, even Elvis, Gershwin, Frank Sinatra, and the Righteous Brothers, just to name some of the icons that AJ has stood toe-to-toe with. Her versatility is unmatched as is her ability to communicate emotionally to her audience. Yes, she is, by all indications, well looking after her vocal instrument. Her B&W version of "I Put a Spell on You" fashioned after "Screamin" Jay Hawkins is AJ in rare "Beast-mode" at 9yo and is shocking as is, in a different way, her 13yo treatment of Whitney's "I Have Nothing". Both are examples of her getting close to the limits on her voice at the time. Stay on the AJ train. You can't go wrong.
She was 12 years old here! The wonderful Neumann microphone was a 12th birthday gift. She owns the pop filter and screen but rarely uses them and a pop filter is built into the mike. I know it is in her home studio since her TH-cam certificate is on the wall behind her. I can’t imagine anyone singing this song with more feeling than Angie.

Her covers are absolutely perfect usually better than the originals and she was only 12 here! Born to Die,and A million Years Ago are good ones! Her new video Million Miles is awesome. She just turned 15!

@@DonaldLancon That would be my guess also. Heard another reactor do that one but it wasn't the version on You Tube now. If it is from Boris' channel it has be audio enhanced. I'm not sure what was enhanced but I know it sounds a whole lot better than the first one I saw. All of the static is gone and it sounds sweet. All of the reactions I have watched in the last few months have been of that version.

Angelina sung like an adult as a child. She was able to hit the low notes that young girls shouldn't be able to. I think this voice maturity at a young age allowed her to make the transition to puberty and young teenager seamlessly. By the way, great value added reaction.
I must sneak this in. I hope I can listen to her for the rest of time. When we were young. WOW! How lucky am I?

When Angelina goes into her “zone”, away from everything, fully into the song, it’s so amazing. Unmatched by any other singer. I have listened to this many times, I have seen many reactions and comments: everyone is at a loss. We can’t describe. Superlatives don’t help. The only thing I can say is that I can’t stop listening and I love getting pulled into her world ❤️

This young lady is absolutely freaking AMAZING...and remembering that she was the winner of Norways Got Talent when she was 7yrs old and then seeing her on Americas Got Talent: The Champions at 13 yrs old and the beautiful performances that she gave on that show. This young lady is something extremely special and absolutely God given talented to the max. Listening to this made me cry...seriously. Thank you Norway for giving the world and music someone who is an absolute star

Great reaction. Just for your info - Apart from being in an after school music academy as a child Angelina has never had a vocal coach but is self-taught. She has an incredible work ethic and sings for hours every day because she can't get enough of it. As she has said - "Singing for me is like breathing". If you want something recent and you haven't already heard it I suggest you listen to "If I Were a Man (Piano Diaries). Togy Gad asked here to sing it for his new album. IMO is this best thin g she has done to date.
"Just a waving d...head". Funniest bit of a great reaction - and quite correct. But make no mistake, this young girl has turned many of us into goofy looking waving d...heads. Small price to pay for being able to watch and listen to such an exceptional talent.

Saw every performance on TH-cam dozens of times (some hundreds) and many reactions! Including the 3 Million miles! I'm sure you did too ;-) She is so addictive! Seducing our childhood nostalgia! You are right about their similarities, to an extent. You haven't come close to hearing enough different songs form Angelina Jordan to know how else she can sound; you should go down that road. There are another 130 songs from her on TH-cam to explore.

I really like your expert view. One thing l heard once is that she is an artist and is only limited by physiology. In other words she is waiting for her body to catch up with her artistic intent. I have paid close attention and l think like all great artists she continues to hone her craft.
I'm a little late commenting to this magnificent musical moment with Angelina Jordan.
Btw, she was 12 in this video! I love watching her sing, but with this song, if you close your eyes and listen to her artistry, you begin to wonder could anyone else sing this song like her? Of course, the answer is no. Everything she sings is wonderful but this is one of those songs she sings which stands out as incredibly beautiful. I truly believe she is a musical genius. Her unique sound, her jazziness and her soulful voice is what makes her a one-of-a-kind singer. But, then you have to add in her interpretive understanding of lyrics. And, her story telling style which keeps you riveted to your seat, almost hypnotized as you listen to her sing. Amazing. And what is so evident is her love of music and the joy she has singing to the masses.
I love Lana but I wouldn't dare sing this song again after I heard this :)

OSN I am so very sorry for your loss. I highly recommend you react to Angelina's latest single, Million Miles, which she dedicated to anyone who has lost a loved one. The live in studio version I think you would enjoy the most. I enjoy listening to music but know very little about it. Since I have discovered Angelina, I have often checked out the artist she 'covers'. With the exception of Amy Winehouse (when she is at her best) I much prefer Angelina's version or sometimes call it a draw. For my ears, Angelina's voice is much richer, fuller, soulful and emotional than the other vocalists. This has held true throughout her career. Angelina is the only vocalist to make this 62 year old cry. She is a once in forever artist.
I am only reading comments these days, but I want to give it to you, Andy. You are the only one picking up his loss, and commenting on that. It will probably make him listening to Million Miles, and really feel that song. And maybe react to it. I appreciate that, Andy 👍

New intro music is not bad at all. This performance reminds me of Lorde. Lorde has similar vocal range and sultry sounds just like Lana 🤗. I notice Angelina performs bare footed very often. I wonder why? 🤔
Angelina and her grandmother were visiting Iran (she is quarter Iranian) when she was a small child around 7 years old. They happened across a young street girl of a similar age who had no shoes to wear. They got talking about each other’s dreams and vowed to pray for each other’s dreams to come true. The street girl commented on how pretty Angelina’s shoes were whereupon Angelina promptly gave them to her. She vowed that day to perform shoeless as a reminder to herself and to others that there are many who are so much less fortunate than ourselves. To date Angelina has helped to raise around £24 million for various children’s and climate charities. When she won Norway’s Got Talent at 8 years old she gave most, If not all, of her winnings away to local children’s charities. She has continued to perform shoeless till this day including performing barefoot for Barak Obama and even on America’s Got Talent The Champions. She’s a very special young lady.

Vocal coaches claim, her voice will be growing ten more years (15 to 25). Now compare her AGTC performances to Million Miles, the difference is one year of voice development. Now multiply that delta by ten. And I'm fairly confident she doesn't even show her current max. She is holding BACK.
BTW: better be selective which of your singer friends you show her stuff. We've seen two singing reactors spiralling into total devastation.They said watching this kid made them they feel the've wasted their life.
If you remember the names of these singing reactors, can you name them? I would love to watch these videos. Personally, I remember a man in his late twenties who dreamed of becoming a pro singer who was reacting on her Bohemian Rhapsody at AGT at the age of 13, having a moment of total discouragement after hearing it, crying even for few seconds.

Angelina can take a good song and make it a great song! There are countless examples on you tube. What is more amazing is that she can take a song that I don’t particularly like and turn it into one of my favourites, example ( Nothing Breaks Like a Heart),
Not sure about your comparison--Angelina's voice has more nuance and much more depth than Lana's. She is one of those who improves almost everything she covers. What is even more impressive is that she has channeled Billie Holiday, Elvis, Screamin' Jay Hawkins, and Ella. Now THAT is insane.
I've listened to Lana sing this finally. I'm so spoiled because I heard Angelina version first. Angelina is so much better with her version.
