Ditto is no problem as it can not hide behind a shiny in the wild nor does it hide as a legendary. in fact there can only be the lake trio and the galarien birds as legendary in the wild, so you only have to double check that 6 legendaries
Also don’t use the masterball if you are not on your last throw in a raid. Seems obvious but always good to throw that out there. Best of luck everyone
I LITERALLY completed that research quest on Saturday June 1st around nighttime . And I only had the master all for one FULL DAY. I ran into a galarian zapdos TODAY! June 3rd early morning. Used it since my friend has one and we’re waiting to hit guaranteed lucky trade :)

Another thing to add is that you should try and catch a hundo and if it's your last ball to use the master ball, straight up using the master ball could lose you the opportunity of using it for something better if you catch it in a premier ball first

Random, take it from somebody who has had terrible IVs and had to lucky mirror trade them to get decent IVs xD depending on how often you use daily incense and how often you encounter the birds (plus how much luck you've had catching without master balls), may be worth looking up the IVs lvl 1-50 on Pokemon go hub to see if the one that appeared matches exactly, but no guarantee still. Sorry for the long message, short answer, no they're random unfortunately.
Still sitting on my original 2, refuse to use them on worthless unusable galarian birds. I feel it’s best to save them for perfect IV 5 star raid if you’re down to last premier ball, just hasn’t happened to me yet
My first on got used by my 3 year old brother when I wasn’t paying attention and I realized three days later that I didn’t have it and I transferred the Pokémon that he caught with it😢

There are certain cp values that indicate if a Pokémon is a hundo
I couldn't do the reseach cause I can't go do the requirements
But isn't hundo cp isn't always accurate? Alot showed hundo cp but when checked they say it isn't a perfect iv.
