#StatusQuo #RockinAllOverTheWorld #LiveAtKnebworth - เพลง
There is no other band ever that can generate the sheer enjoyment of music and at a live gig. No frills, no special effects, flashy light and laser shows, just friggin' great rock'n'roll.
real rock n roll
Lol you don't know to much about music.
Pretty sure John Fogerty might have something to say (or sing) about that. This is good, but sorry, his versions are better, AND original!
.....and also, regarding 'no other band generating sheer enjoyment of music at a live gig'.....Dude!!! Doctor Hook hands down! You've obviously never heard of them!
To all you haters, people like Justin Beiber, One Direction, etc, will be forgotten in a few years. Status Quo, Nazareth, Metallica, The Beatles etc, will forever live on as legends so go hate somewhere else.
I know this comment is from 6 years ago... but I've never even heard of Nazareth
How the hell can you mention those bands in the samed breath as The Beatles and use the word legend! I love Quo. But none are legends, only The Beatles
@@markhill9275 all are classics... let's enjoy em all
@@mxsthxted sorry but Nazareth, metallica aren't classic, groups like Quo are absolute classics, but the number of groups that are true Legends, they can be counted on one hand, with The Beatles alone at the top. I enjoy a lot of different music, yes i can enjoy metallica, i love Strauss, crikey i can even listen to the 2 usaan types of music, Country AND western, rubbish like (C)rap is just that, rubbish. Love ABBA, shudder, even some disco! So i have a huge range of music, but Legends, lets see , The Fab Four, Zeppelin, Stones, (not really my cup of tea), The Who, Floyd. After these maybe Acca Dacca, but then for methe rest might be incredible, but not Legendary. I firmly believe in all areas we use the word Legend way way too much! I would suggest you try listening to classical if you don't, it may open up a whole new world!
@@markhill9275 yep... Classic rock songs I mean.. Legends are those who have influenced basically the world, can't say that for most of em
This song was written and recorded by John Fogerty in 1975 but Status Quo's version is irresistible
I remember my dad was scared of me getting sucked into a generation of bad music so when I was 4, he showed me this song and from that day I constantly asked for him to play it and I taught myself how to play it on youtube so that I could listen to it when he was it work. Sometime later, he was bored of me listening to the same song so he introduced me to other rock bands and other songs by status quo.
All I can do is thank my dad for showing me true and real music and it all started with this song
Whether you like the Quo or not, you can't help but admire the way they get the crowd up!
I saw them at Wembley at the Princess Diana memorial and they rocked, they only got one song, people were booing because they wanted more! Speaks volumes id say!
The drummer of this band (Jeff Rich) played the drums with me and gave me his autograph 😀😀😀
R.I.P. Rick Parfitt, Thank you for the Music 🙂
This still cheers me up. Their music doesn't get old.
Take this band seriously at your peril.
They are a good time party band, the best ever.
When I'm depressed I put on some QUO and I feel much better.
Those 37 chords they play are very impressive, the minors and diminished chords are my faves.
Seriously, they epitomise what Rock is and should be.
RIP RICK PARFITT
I am 71...I've been rockin' with Quo since I was 25. There's just no other band, they are the be all and end all!
*_Legends Never Die, Rick is gonna rocking in heaven from now on_*
AGREED MATE
And by mate I mean king without a crown
We dont forget RICK Parfitt ever be is the King of rock n roll
This cheers me up every time
Rossi is so full of energy, he wil never get old. Always the same riffs, and still electyfying! Thank you Rossi!!!
One of JOHN FOGERTY's best solo tracks! After he wrote this beauty, it wasn't long before great bands of the time covered this gem of John's.
Had their knocks as a band, but in my opinion Rick was one of the best rhythm guitarists in the business. Happy to have seen them a few times. R.i.p Rick, Rock & Roll.
My Friend passed away and this was his all time favourite Song ever! Now he's rockin all over the World on a cloud...R.I.P. *Luschi* -Kossi
This is almost 21 years old.....the song itself even older.....and its still 100 times better than anything that's played today or even in the last 10 yrs...... I mean, how many songs in the last 10yrs can you say are real classics....cheesy or not!!
The mighty Quo will go down in history, not only is their 'feel good' music out of this world, what other band have toured and still touring consistently, for the last fifty years!! Rick, you are so missed....it's heartbreaking.💔💔💔
No matter who you are, no matter where you are from, what you believe in or do this is the worlds anthem, it brings people together!
I saw them at Knebworth in august 1986, supporting Queen. What a day!
ROCKIN" IN HEAVEN...R.I.P.
RIP one of the best rythm guitarists in the world, Rick Parfitt. How many legends are gonna go before this year is over..
Prophetic... 24 hrs on and George Michael sadly passes away
Nyx Ik it's so sad
RIP RICK - rocking in heaven - will be missed on earth
best rock group ever l still feel like dancing at 77 years of age
Joan Bond Good for you lovely.. love the outlook..
I am still dancing to them, and I am 76 this year. They are one of the best bands ever!!!
30 years old here and I will be dancing to them for the rest of my life.
Keep going girl
I've been crazy about this band for almost 40yrs,it's hard to believe.all that time has past.I love them to death.
RIP Rick a true nice guy,and member of one of the best ever bands.
Thank god for TH-cam... Only problem is I missed 40 years of this great band!! My Gawd look at the crowds the pull.. just as many as the stones.. why didnt they ever make it big in America...??
How can you not tap your feet to this song? Simplicity at its best. Just fun rock n roll.
Rockin All Over The World !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
R.I.P Rick Parfitt, you are and always will be a rock legend....
Happy happy days! 18 years old and listening to Quo on my cassette "personal stereo" on bus to college. Drinking in students union with Quo on jukebox, back home to listen to Quo again, bit louder, to piss my dad off! Happy days. RIP Rick and to my RIP to my happy student days. Wish I could go back!
In 1974 i bought my first Quo album. I'm a fan since then. RIP Rick. Thanks for all the great songs.
So are they but what the hell does age matter?! :) I'm 23, saw these guys live a couple of years ago and they're the best live act I've seen! And I've seen bands like Kiss, Motley Crue, Iron Maiden etc. Their energy on stage is simply amazing! The best part is that they will never stop! Cheers from Sweden!
This is the sort of feel good song that brings together everyone from all walks of life, all ages and from anywhere in the world, a true anthem of the people :3
Status Quo make me proud to be British, and I'm an American.
That candle glowed very very bright. r.i.p Rick.
must be one hell of a band upthere by now. R.I.P. Rick.
Elvis left him some 'sugar'

Raised by Status Quo. So Glad

As I grow up in Ireland at the age of 9 I was taken to the city hall in cork city to see the quo by my older brother I will never forget that night last year i brought my to kids to see them and they loved them I was so sad today to hear of the passing of rick I'm sitting here at home looking at old videos on TH-cam what a great band rip rick you'll rock heaven tonight just in time for Jesus Christ birthday rock on
I was at this gig at Knebworth! What an amazing show! Quo, Pink Floyd, Clapton, Dire Straits, Elton John, McCartney... & that's just for starters! The only gig I can say I got sunburn & soaked wet through on the same day lol x
One of the greatest fun bands ever and definitely the most underestimated group of all time.Saw them live in Bristol and they were worth every penny or more.
RIP Rick - an absolute legend!
News about Rick on Christmas Eve is more than sad. So many great Quo moments in my life.
Sixties stuff, before my time (kind off), grew up in 70's. Caroline, What Ever You Want, Down Down, so many more.
Into the 80's, then Live Aid and all the stuff that came later. If any of Rick's family and friends see this, I so cannot see my life without a backdrop of Quo music. God bless to you all, and have the best Christmas you can. xxx
I am privalaged and lucky to have grown up with Quo....rock on boys...👍
Never forget this opening, once in a lifetime. RIP Rick, you gave us your all, and we loved you for it.
RICK , unforgettable. R.I.P. (You never walk alone)!
R.I.P. Rick, we miss you. Thanks for the memories.
The best Rocking band of the world: Status Quo, the Frantic Four!!! There is no substitute! Still love them. I am now living for Christ, but all they sang in years of the 70- and 80-ies has all come true for me. It's like one big prophetic Revelation to sing the songs from those years! Unbelievable, but it is really true. Only the song 'Reason for Living' didn't come out, because my prayers where Answered(!) by Jesus Christ! Halleluja!
But now the Holy Spirit is moving 'All over the World' and this Rock will not STOP FOREVER! Halleluja! Love You Jesus.
M.A.B.
"And I like it, I like it, I like it, I like it, I la-la like it, la-la- like...here we go-o, rockin' all over the world." Yeeaaah, I LOVE IT!
I absolutely love this song. What a hit.
The reason why I made my original comment was because back when this video was filmed, my folks who died within the last 7 years were still alive, my brother who died last October, and my best friend who died last November was still alive. Our politically and corporate corrupt world seems like an alien world to me now.
Looks people.. it doesn't matter how old you are.. stop wanting thumbs up. no matter your age.. 9 or 90.. you like the quo.. you know good music.
This is what real rock & roll is
Holy shit, I could listen this song over and over again while travelling...
John Fogerty could sure write and I'm so glad it's Status Quo performing it, because they do it so good.
i love your band
R.I.P Rick
END OF AN ERA
God bless You
R.I.P Rick. end or an era. Legend!
You are an Idiot
Best band as i was growing up. Rock lives forever. God Bless Rick.

Believe it or not, they're still going! Played Car Fest in Hampshire 2018!
Not a chance music is getting worse year by year . Same as films .
Today's music is shit
My english is bad
My god it gives me chills that's when you know you have the audience Quo something special
RIP Rick you absolute legend. 💚
Bangla gan
Brilliant musician and rockstar. His music will
Live forever 😊
Best thing about concerts in the past? No frigging phones or tablets blocking the view. People knew how to watch and enjoy the music instead of recording it.
Im so glad my grandparents have all their albums!
R.I.P Rick , One of the greatest guitar players ever.
ROCKING ALL OVER THE YEARS !!!
R.I.P. Keep on rocking "Quo"!

My wife has this brilliant song as her ring tone . Her phone went off on the peak hour train she was on , and half the cabin clapped and sang along .

I am 12 years old and listening this 👍
No, you probably not 12.
My word ..my word...Lord! a SONG for my Youth! :)
I was there.....that day I saw Cliff Richard & The Shadows, Dire Straits, Elton John, Eric Clapton, Genesis, Mark Knopfler, Paul McCartney, Pink Floyd, Robert Plant & Jimmy Page, Status Quo, Tears for Fears, Ray Cooper...it was good...I am so greedy I still wish I was at Woodstock 69!
Shocked and stunned. R.I.P. Mr Rick Parfitt. A riff legend that will never be replaced. ROCK ON
Unreal! and they still get the crowd going to this day
A sad, sad day for rock fans RIP.
