I love what you said about being done with our own thoughts and wanting to listen to someone else’s. Love your hair colour - just gorgeous. I love chatty videos - it makes me feel like I’m visiting with you I’m so sorry for your family’s loss. You are stunning with or without makeup. Loved hearing about your trip - it sounds wonderful One of my favourite things is to visit artist communities. I completely agree about trying to eat “cleaner” - I always say the grocery stores doesn’t make it easy - here in Canada it’s more expensive to buy healthier foods as opposed to processed food. Politics come and go but family is forever
We have had the first snow of winter here in the UK yesterday and today. Many schools had a 'snow day' where they cancel classes and children go into the parks and fields to sledge and play in the snow. My 17 year old even went sledging with his friends. Seems you're never too old for some simple pleasures - and a break from studies! 🛷❄️
Awe Michelle! you are right. You are never too old for simple pleasures! So glad you all had so much fun! Thank you for sharing it with us. I pictured it in my mind as I read your comment and it made me have a good feeling. Wishing you the best!
I love your videos, and love these chatty style videos :) I'm from the UK, and visited the US in summer and the food tasted fantastic, but my stomach felt terrible the whole trip! Crazy to see some of the ingredients included on the back of the packets...
Glad you like them, Beth and I am sorry that the food here messed with your stomach. It messes with ours too. Thank you for watching and commenting. xoxo,
Hi Lindy!! I'm very excited to celebrate Thanksgiving with my family, but its not ideal having to study for law school finals. Very exhausted & your videos are the highlight of my day !!!
Hi Katelyn, wow! You are so cool for going through the hard work of becoming a lawyer. Good for you, my dear! I am rooting for you, all through the exhausting studies. You've got this and I hope you get a few days respite with your family. Happy Thanksgiving. xoxo, Lindy
I’m so sorry for your loss, I hope you are all doing okay ❤ I am very interested in this makeup. I just went on their site, so it looks like you pick your palette size and then add the little tins ? That’s really cool :) thanks for sharing, I love the watching how others get ready- I feel like I need to try this hair trick too because your hair always looks fabulous.
Hi Victoria, Thank you for all of your kind sentiments. That means a lot. About the make-up; yes! That is how you do it, although there should be some guidance about picking out the correct colors for your skin tone. I had someone help me when I first bought mine. Hopefully they provide it on the website. Take good care and let me know if you buy any and if you like it. xoxo
First off, I’m so sorry for the loss of your brother in law…thoughts and prayers for you and your family.❤ Thanks so much for this nice hour long video. I could listen to you talk forever. I had to laugh when you talked about meeting your guests in your long coat, hoping people didn’t think you were a flasher! We’re headed to Wisconsin this weekend to spend the holiday with my mom and family. Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family!!
Thank you, dear Ginny. So glad you laughed about my flasher moment. Iol! I over think... all the time. Have a wonderful time with your family in Wisconsin and give them all a big hug from me! xoxo, Lindy
Hello there, I am from Southern Germany , located near Munich. It is so interesting hearing about some other woman’s experiences/life from a different country! ❤😊
I also listen to people's videos just to hear someone else's thoughts- it's almost like meditation, to step away from your own thoughts. Sorry to hear about your brother in law 🙏❤
Lindy, I am so sorry to hear about Chris’s brother. My sincere condolences to the whole family. This made me so sad to hear. Now I’m with you in spirit and praying that the grieving process is helping. 😢 I also had an issue with my Mom again. She came home from the hospital about I guess three or four weeks now unfortunately she fell And ripped off the front of her forehead all the way down to the muscle almost to her skull so that was a real traumatic situation. I just wanted to say hi and let you know that I’m thinking of you. I’m been very busy taking care of her. It was a very bad fall she broke ribs and I said to her do you think God maybe wants you to slow down a little bit, but I am so sorry about Chris’s brother. I loved listening to the video and hearing about your wonderful Thanksgiving that you’re going have I hope it is a beautiful one. I missed seeing you on here and hope to talk to you soon. I left a more lengthy message for you but it got deleted when you took it down for the short period of time. I guess because there was a problem with the sound. It actually sounded fine to ME in case you want know I didn’t notice a problem with it, but I guess other people did please enjoy your holiday. I know you will. You’ll make it beautiful. Speaking on the subject of makeup There is a book called Making Faces by Kevin Aucoin it came out and I think 1997. It’s a great book and it’s basically on the premise that doing makeup is like painting which I knew and knew that you already know. I’m sure you already applying makeup like painting a face. Your face becomes the canvas of course you want to apply it however the client wants but it’s very informative beautiful hardback book like a coffee table book if you have not seen it it’s a great book to get. He was very talented. He died young do to, a rare disease. On a happier note, it’s great seeing you and like I said and unfortunately, I have to get going, but I wanted to get a comment back on here and let you know I’m thinking of you and Chris love to the whole family!!! Esme! 💜🌸💛 Ps. I am “not” gonna proofread this so I hope you can understand it thank you Lindy. Have a great weekend. I have to get to my mom‘s house early. She is healing believe it or not. She didn’t damage any nerves. If you can believe that I was shocked she can move her eyes in her forehead. Oh my God the swelling was unbelievable. it has started to go down anyway I have to run and until the next timeI wanted to get a letter out to you, but I just didn’t have the time was taken care of her, so sorry because I was very concerned about you. Take care and talk soon.
Thank you, Esme'. My word! I can't believe that your mama didn't suffer more with such a terrible sounding cut on her head. Bless her and YOU, as I know it is a lot to take care of her. Thanks for the condolences. Take care of yourself, my friend!
@ oh Lindy thank you!! It was not a cut it was her forehead hanging on by a thread. I still can’t really look at it, but I’ll tell you I am so tired. Just hope and pray she doesn’t give up. I’m not ready for anymore. Disaster situations if you know what I mean I’m sure you do. Thanks for making my day a better one you’re a bright light in a dark day. 💜🌸 💕
Girl I am just starting the video. I was very concerned about you. We all listen to the video and then I’ll comment later.❤ glad to see you. PS what’s the video video about the Ozempic? I am very interested in hearing about how this medication is working, especially if you have heart disease which I have high cholesterol it’s hereditary no matter how I eat. It doesn’t change and medication doesn’t work so I’d like to listen to this late woman’s journey that you’re listening to thank you if you get a time to write it down.
Hi Katie, Yay! You noticed! Toile De Jouy is my favorite wallpaper pattern ever! I *think* I bought this from Wallpaper Direct... (but I can't remember for sure) It is a crimson print on a cream colored background.
My condolences 💐 I discovered October 30 , found out November 3-4 , that a friends father passed who I knew as a child, now almost 40. His daughter and I were friends. It was a random shock researching someone else.
I’ll bet you decided on a get-ready-with-me video just so I couldn’t put my phone down and fall asleep. (Just kidding!) Who knows, now that you’ve crossed the GRWM threshold, could an ASMR try-on haul be far behind? 🤣🤣 Great vid as always, keep up the good work!
@ In all seriousness, it really is a thing. If you put “ASMR try-on” in the search bar, you’ll find scores of such vids, a voice-over narration while trying on outfits. However, almost all of them make the same mistake of being way too whispery, when a normal, soft-spoken voice would be far more effective…
I have the volume cranked right up to hear. I know I'm going to forget and blast my ears out with the next thing I listen to. Still; adds a little excitement to life. Wonderful video as always.
One thing is clear; “anyway” is my favorite filler word.🤦🏼♀️
I’ll work on correcting that.😅
I love what you said about being done with our own thoughts and wanting to listen to someone else’s.

Can't hear you sweetheart sorry
Did you mute the video?
Hi! I’m not sure why you are unable to hear.
@Southernladyasmr I have my volume all the way up and I'm having to put it on my shoulder right by my ear to hear it. Not sure why either.
I’m using a Bluetooth speaker
lol.
I have the volume cranked right up to hear. I know I'm going to forget and blast my ears out with the next thing I listen to. Still; adds a little excitement to life.
