You’ve got a good friend in Robert. I love his flat humor! You’ve done good by the kitties. I’m sure you will all enjoy the new configuration. Safe travels!
That Robert's a good dude! You surround yourself with down to earth good people! HEY save that furnace for your cabin!! wink wink! Those suckers are expensive these days! AND DAMN...I LOVEEEEEEE the smart car!!!!!!!
Dang Robert's been working hard! Great work though. Bummer about the furnace, maybe you'll think of another spot for it. Have a nice lil vacation, Robert probably needs break too 😂
Hey Eric! For less than $300 you might invest in a macerator pump and some 3/4" hose for those long uphill black 'runs'. Leave it with Robert, to use with any other customers as well. Then, you will not have to 'break down' and go somewhere else to empty with only a short amount of time left on a build out. Just a thought... KJay
The couch looks great and will be much more comfortable for you and the kitties than the little chair or dinette seats. I love the dresser and TV where the chair was. You're right, it just looks so much better that way. Ikea is a great place when looking for storage solutions. Especially for small spaces. Enjoy your break!
Eric, I love watching your videos. It cracks me up each time you get a darn near perfect rig just to tear it apart. With each new rig I wait patiently for the destruction I know is coming. It would drive me crazy but it looks like it makes you happy. That's all that matters.
Awesome upgrades Eric!! I'm so impressed with Robert's work that I have reached out to him to see if he can do some work for me. It will be a two day trip for me to Kansas City from Indiana, but it'll be worth it. Looking forward to meeting Robert and possibly you if you are still at Roberts if/when I get there.
Man that’s perfect! Like it was meant to be. I have the same floor plan and have always wanted to do that but thought it wasn’t possible. You and Robert do some nice work!
because of the way youtube is showing the subscription section now i totally missed that you posted this yesterday! i look for these with great anticipation, my rv vloggers i follow and this was totally not showing up i swear it wasn't until i scrolled down 3 or 4 pages and found it and i am not subbed to that many channels!
If you switch to diesel heat you will love it. It’s so much better than catalytic heat. It’s really quiet really warm and doesn’t use much power. You do have to get another fuel but when I fill up it last about two months.
Nice looking remodel. Have you ever thought of painting all your wood cabinets? I’d put white on the top and a medium gray on the bottom (to match the new couch). It would brighten up the interior and make it look more spacious.
All the rigs and this seems to suit you better than any others. Especially with the addition of your basecamps to give you a place to be when you want it. Very cool.
From experience with one pole the table will be a little wobbly but it works for us. Also if you don't have one I would suggest a small ottoman with built in storage, really makes it more comfortable and the extra storage is a bonus.
Looks good, Eric. Are you going to update your cabinets and paint them white? It would really bring your rig into the 21st century and not stuck in the 1990s look. Brighten things up inside and will look sharp with the new flooring as well.
Eric to stop any clacking from the drawer clasps, take a hot glue gun, and put a drop on the point on each metal plate where the clasp drops to it in the closed position. that will eliminate that.
Looks good except for the drawer locks, maybe you should have just done interior child locks for aesthetic reasons? Or even the white. Exterior child locks that would have matched better? Or at least paint those white.
To stop the drawers from moving, you could mount some sticky-backed foam tape behind the edges of the drawer fronts. I've done that with the front door of the house. It works really well!
Wow! Eric, that dresser was sitting there just waiting for you to buy it. just a perfect fit. How cool is that? Things are looking more like a real home. Enjoy it Eric. Hugs, Louise
I like that Ikea by Johnson Drive. I live in KS. I'm working on my Ambulance RV conversion. Going to just chill around here still working. I will retire in 5 years. I'll full-time after that.
Cool, cool! 😎 Good planning. I live in a relatively small (trailer) space. And everything is measure and tight fit. But your making the most of every inch. Smart! Good find that little sofa bed! Glad the kitties enjoy it. 💖 love you guys.
Try a little felt or the "fluffy" side of velcro inside the very edge of the drawers, might be just enough friction to not rattle when driving. Worth thinking about or trying. Not both sides of the velcro, but just the fluffy side, and just a little piece. Also love the Ryobi battery fan. I have the ridgid tools version and I ADORE that fan. Best fan ever. 120v or 20v battery pack, and they run for a freaking LONG time on those batteries too.
Paint that dresser grey to match, and you can get some push button latches that will keep those drawers secure with no rattle. Nice upgrades though, I love it!
Eric, go buy that rubber in a spray can that advertised sealing a boat with a screen frame; because it looks like the locks on the dresser will rattle like crazy.
Plastic child safety latches would work, too. They go inside the drawers. Also, I believe soft-close rails don’t open easily unless they are pulled open.
The dresser looks like it was made to fit there. The lack of a furnace should keep you on plan searching for 70 degrees. Keep the good stuff coming buddy
Better your RV than ours.. 😂I've seen other channels just convert their dinette's into couches, that seems way easier. But again I have little room to talk. We removed our kitchen table for a sim racing chair!
she liked being next to me. But I was always in the seat, not the dinette. She didn't ever enjoy the dinette unless I was there. She wanted a spot on the little recliner to be next to me and it broke my heart.
I've often wondered why people who build their vans/schoolies don't use pre-fabricated furniture. I realize the measurements might not fit and there's the wheel well. But seriously, if a piece of furniture does fit, why not use that instead of building it from scratch? lol. Opie is like "This is mine, Dad. But I love you enough to share it with you and Tara."
Be careful Eric, a t.v. in front of a window may cause the t.v. to die. My family & I learned that the hard way. Also make sure the kitties can’t get behind it, that too could cause future problems for the t.v. as well. Praying for you.
Nothing like driving down the highway with a Cat Toilet riding shotgun.
Ha ha ha
Salt of the Earth
I think that would be called riding shitgun not shotgun.
@@e1ochai Ya reckon? 😂

I like how he is keeping the empty coors case so he dont get caughr drinking them budlights
I think most of your best videos are your rv mods. Your lucky to have a friend like Robert.
Coming along great ! Robert is the man for lending you a hand on these projects

I hope you find another couch cover. That one is "Ug-ly!

The remodel looks like a great improvement, Eric.

Loved Roberts response when you said he enjoys all the extra, work. He is a treasure,be good to him!!. So far,so good. All will work somehow.🐈⬛🐈

I think he will be happy for you to leave on an adventure very soon because Robert needs a vacation from Eric 😅
I noticed the water hose made an upward curve as it leaves the side of the RV heading towards the tank, and water doesn’t go uphill very easily.

You are so very creative and find the right persons to fulfill your idea on how to improve your rolling home.

If you dont want the drawer to clatter use weather stripping on the inside no issues!

The couch is a great idea and I am sure both kitties will love it. It looks great too. Take care of yourself, Tara and Opie
Love the couch! You are a very good cat Dad, Eric. Use it in good health. The table looks great too. Lots of storage space.
Robert is a gem!! I'm happy for you & them kitties. ❌⭕❌⭕

Looks like it's coming together nice certainly gives you a lot more room and adds more comfort
RV is coming together nicely also dont forget the worlds largest belt buckle is in Abilene KS now.

Ikea is not my favorite. Hope it stands up to the pounding 😯
@@reneefizer39 i have no idea , what you are referencing.
I think she is just referring to the bumpy roads, etc- sometimes IKEA items aren't the strongest bc of the 'wood' they're made of.
@@jjsuperstar900 oh, ok, thanks for the info
You need a macerator pump. You can dump through a garden hose up hill with it. Comes in real handy for moochdocking.
Now you need a counter top on that space next to the couch.
Box in under it and hinge the top would make more storage and give you somewhere to set a bear
Robert must love having you show up. 💲💲💲

Why measure. That’s why you have an Ax snd Chain Saw! lol

Well done on the new upgrades it looks more cozy and especially for the kitties.👍👍😺😺😘🤗✌️👋
All that wind and you sitting in a couch outdoors made me believe you were going to visit the Wizard of Oz.
Eric, they make plastic latches, if you find the noise to much!
Good work Robert.
love it, good work, happy to see the happy kitties!

Lookin good Eric. Great storage add on . TV seems small compared to others you’ve had. But perfect size
Looks good, great planning!
Looks great. The kitties are very happy. Should be more comfortable.
The new style of that table the leg base doesn't require a hole in the floor. That way you can change your mind later.
Hey Eric what's going on man Love the couch and The new Dresser catch all that's a great idea
My furnace and water tank fit under the jackknife sofa in my Tioga. The water pump assembly is under the fridge.

Love the Coors stuff there in the recent vids 😁
Glue the joints and add extra brackets and braces. They fall apart easily when moved, let alone when bounced down a highway.
Good Morning Eric and kitties!!!! Sending yall lots of love an hugs!!! Watching now!!! I know it is going be a awesome video as always!!
CONGRATS ERIC. SAFE TRAVELS LOVE YOU
I like it I think I'm going to do the same with the dinette and install a sofa

Obviously, Robert does not live in an HOA community.
In fairness, Tara did like the dinette seat originally :)

Its looking great. I would like to remove the chair in a Sun Seeker 31ss and put a dresser in its place. That is the perfect size. I like that.
Great video thank you!
Great improvements! We love our jacknife couch. My grandson sleeps on it with plenty of room. Nice dresser idea too! 😊
I would cut the wall that was that back of dinet by the fridge off flush would open up the flow so much there
Hi Eric love it , kitty here and kitty there , you don’t need to measure your figure it out💕 Robert is amazing send him to California.
I hope it's more comfortable as a bed than ours is.
Coming along nicely
Looks good. Get you some screw/bolt covers from Home Depot to put over the handle part of your latches to stop any rattling.
Do you have a special foot stool to use since new sofa does not have a built-in recliner?
The remodel looks good, Eric.
Robert, the contractor, is happy with “CHANGE ORDERS”!😂😂😂❤❤❤
Nice makeover Eric.

@@jpinto9102 it has to do with moisture from the window I believe. I’m sure it can be googled.
Add some weatherstripping on draws to take up a little space and keep from rattlinh
