Maybe they will remedy that but it will always be hard to totally accept cause Caitlin died with the purpose to bring back Frost but not only failed she died to. Unless they somehow have them still living inside her like the way frost used to be it'll be difficult to move past.
Im talking as a fan who has watched all 9 seasons until the last episode, ive seen mark's joruney with frost and all but this new character Khione, i mean dude shes like a whole new version of caitlin and frost, i mean, shes peaceful, she speaks her mind, she helps team flash in a whole other way and she's still trying to discover her powers, i may be surprised and sitll pissed that caitlin's is not a thing anymore but seeing danielle embracing this new character makes me so happy... and who knows, maybe Khione is part human, part another thing? we'll see

Whats the point of killing off Catlain? She's a legacy character and they killed her off screen in the last season of the show which is hella disrespectfull. Now they replaced her for a boring new version of her. This shows writing is so lazy at times. If they were gonna kill her off they could have atleast gave a good send off for her character.

I actually like Khione better than Caitlin and Frost. She isn't a mad scientist who succumbs to desperation nor a psycho-bitch who needs a lot of patience to deal with her. There's a certain innocence to her I can sympathize with and she's kinda like a gentle force of nature. Such characters are often criticized for being too 'mary sue' or other bullcrap like that. But watching her is soothing the soul from all the drama we've had the last seasons on The Flash.
I can not stop laughing at this, Kione is such the pointless retcon, instead of doing something with Frost, we kill her off, instead of doing something with Caitlyn, we kill her off, instead of doing something with Chillblaine, we ALMOST write him off. Then, we bring back the original actress, probably trying recreate that Tom Cavanaugh magic, and create a new character, just for that character to fill, basically, the same moral support role as Caitlyn, and have the same exact powers as Frost. Love this, gosh I cant wait for this crap to get off the air and for these actors to get real jobs.
I'm not sure about the whole khione why scrap Katy and Frost just for the final season like that ain't gonna be able to develop her that much and like they kept mark who was only added as a frost love interest, tbh on top of that season 8 was like that start of frosts life she spent the whole of 7 or whatever trying to get herself a life of her own only to be kicked out almost right away, it seems so strange I dunno, have to see where it goes... not that theres much time left for it to go anywhere
I suspect Season 8 was supposed to be Danielle Panabaker's last season, as she was pregnant during the filming of Season 8, so they killed off both her characters Caitlyn and Frost. The decision was then made that 9th season of The Flash would be the final one, so they persuaded her to stick around and came up with this Khione storyline.
Katy was a healer and frost was well frosty so both combined made khione a super frosty healer Jking btw just thought this thought would put a smile or a giggle in some mouths 🤭
Yeah, the fact that she made snow indoors is more shocking than outside. Both sides can argue for which is harder to do. It naturally makes sense to snow outside because snow come from from water droplets in the clouds where it’s cold. This makes it more surprising that it’s done inside then, because the atmosphere inside the room would also have to be colds in some way. But moving back to the other side, making it snow outside can cover a larger area and turn the weather to snow. It’s a bit nostalgic because we had a small villain in season 1 that had weather and natural disaster powers.
