@darkiee69 Apologies. I’ve never heard of scanian flower hens, so googled it and it gave me swedish flower hens. How do you tell the difference? My swedish flower looks pretty much like those chickens, only a different color. So now I’m curious. Thanks!
@@HGrimes Scania is the southern part of Sweden, where these chicken where bred. It's called "Skåne" in Swedish, and the hens are "Skånsk blommehöna". But in english they've translated it to Swedish flower hen. So we down here in the south feel that we've been robbed of our hens. ;) But I guess few people have ever heard of Scania.
@darkiee69 Thank you! I never knew. It’s such a rare and unknown breed here in the US, and you know how we are - geographic and culturally deficient. 😂 I love my scanian flower hen. She’s so beautiful and thinks she’s a cat!
Your flock is gorgeous 💕
Very beautiful !!!!
So pretty
Do you sell fertile eggs for hatching?
Very limited only for family.
Scanian flower hens, not Swedish.
that’s the same thing.
@@HGrimes No it's not. It's like calling Scottish whisky English.
