Personally the best matches at Wrestlemania 27 was Edge vs Del Rio in a nice World Title opener, Cody Rhodes vs Rey Mysterio for the IC Title I believe in what was a good match but super underrated, Randy vs Punk in a nice showcase and Punk should've won, and Taker vs Triple H that should've been the Main event and was the show stealer

Undertaker having the best Wrestlemania matches from 2007-2013 is one of the many reasons why he's the GOAT imo, no one else comes close to that long of a streak of bangers and great storylines at Wrestlemania

I personally thought Taker vs Batista was kind of lackluster honestly and Michaels vs Cena could have been a lot better. My pick for the best to me was easily the Money in the Bank ladder match
This is just wrong. HBK has a 100% absolute banger conversion rate in his second spell with WWE from Wrestlemania 19-24. Angle from Wrestlemania 16-22 ain’t too shabby. Punk has a pretty damn good run. More recently - Seth Rollins has never had a Wrestlemania singles match that wasn’t a banger

being able to watch the end of the era match in the stadium as a kid is such a amazing memory for me i will never forget, it was 100% the best match that night, the crowd was incredible during it, u could feel the energy, and ofc the match was top tier. man wrestling is something special.

The Undertaker is Mr. Wrestlemania indeed. He carried the entire Mania lore in the back of his streak for years. He's definitely in the GOAT conversation but not talked about enough imo. Legendary. truly Gunther vs sheamus vs McIntyre is one of the best matches of all time in WrestleMania in the last decade. It's like the proper hard-hitting match, with great pops, the crowd was so into it, imo one of the great matches of WrestleMania.

My favorite thing about the Batista/Undertaker feud was that Batista made it very clear that Taker's mind games won't work because Dave respected the Deadman, but didn't fear him. And when he did play spooky mind games, it just pissed Batista off, and it was believable! Fantastic face vs. face match.

The Mixed Tag Match from Mania 34 is lowkey one of my favorite matches ever. It just hits all the points. Return, Debuts, the Hot Tag, the heels being heels, the double submission spot, Ronda beating up Hunter. It was fantastic
One of my favourites is, triple h vs undertaker, hell in a cell, Hbk as special guest referee, I really thought the streak was over when Shawn hit that super kick into the pedigree, great match

I still think that Mania 39 Saturday is easily one of the greatest Manías ever. John Cena and Theory was meh, but the tag team showcase was really good, then Rollins vs Logan Paul was great, Damage Ctrl vs Becky and Lita better than expected BUT since Rey Mysterio vs Dom were phenomenal matches. Incredibly interesting the Rey vs Dom, the AMAZING Rhea vs Charlotte and the emotional and glorious main event win with KO and Sami against the Usos. That's how Wrestlemania should been ever

Funny enough, Undertaker's worst chemistry match-ups were the monsters Vince kept putting him against. He always had great chemistry with the technical whizzes of WWE.
One exception being the Batista match
The Brock Lesnar match would’ve been a hell of a lot better in fairness had Taker not gotten concussed early- most likely from that first overhead suplex. Unfortunate that the streak breaker was their only ever bad match together. Watching it in highlight mode you can still tell they’d put a great match together, they just couldn’t execute it properly under the circumstances plus the crowd was shockingly disinterested right from the start
You're both right, and I don't count Batista or Brock as monsters. I'm talking about guys like Great Khali, Giant Gonzalez, Kamala, ones meant to dwarf the Undertaker.

Agree with this, Vince likes putting Taker against monsters that can't work and if they can Taker can barely work well with them. I dare say even majority of his matches with Kane are lackluster, except their first Wrestlemania match. Also, Big Show who had a random 4 Star match against Taker.
Rhea vs Charlotte was not only the best match of Wrestlemania 39 but one of the best Women's wrestling matches ever.
Really goes to show how great the Undertaker really was. GOAT in my eyes

2019: Kofi vs Daniel Bryan was BY FAR the best match of that year. So much heart and fight from Kofi, and spite and hypocrisy from Bryan.
2021: I gotta give it to Sasha and Bianca. That slash from the braid and the heart in it was so good. But yes, Roman's stack pin was good. And of course Bryan could put on a great match with an octopus. Jonathan Gresham is a machine!
I'm surprised you put Shane vs AJ as the best of 2017 (or whatever year it was), but I can dig it. Shane is underrated in big matches and was actually my favorite part of that match.

2021: both main events were great but the triple threat was on a whole différent lvl

Agree. They were unquestionably my two favourites in WWE at that time so there’s always been that bit of bias but still. I remember being slightly concerned that it wouldn’t quite be able to reach my expectations when the match was set- if it wasn’t at least on a par with their 97 HIAC epic I’d have been left wanting but in the end it managed to exceed all expectations and the WM 26 sequel was almost as good- the only difference there I’d say were the near falls weren’t quite as shocking and the commentary wasn’t as good. JR and Michael Cole’s absence was felt (Cole delivers too when it matters in these epics).
Not only did undertaker have an amazing wrestlemania streak but he also had a legendary best wrestlemania match streak if that makes sense

The Tombstone was more protected than the Pedigree and Sweet Chin Music. Angle/HBK was my fav WM match until Taker/HBK at WM 25 😂 While both matches are instant classics, Taker/HBK was just the total package for me. The biggest stage, two bonafide icons, the two longest tenure superstars at that time, in their 40’s w/nagging injuries, epic storytelling, out of this world chemistry, the crowd participation!! Just EPIC.

I agree with Shawn Kurt being better than Shawn Taker 25. The latter was so perfectly choreographed but Shawn Kurt in mania 21 was just so good and so raw, the intensity was just on another level

About the last WM, I believe that Sheamus Vs Gunther in Galles was better than the triple trheat with Drew. For me the best match was the main event of the Night 1. The storyline that was told, the moment at the end of the fight with KO and Sami, the ability of the four wrestlers, perfect!

Heist of the century is one of the wrestling moments that convinced me to come back to watching.
I am truly grateful that i can say i've seen in person Edge vs Taker, HBK vs Ric Flair, End of and era, Cm punk vs y2j, The rock vs Cena, the return of the hardys at WM33 and i guess WM35 with becky. but the feeling those matches give me omg.

Wrestlemania 27 is really not that bad. It also had 4 Really good matches. Triple H Vs Undertaker was electric. But Rey Vs Cody is highly underrated, Edge Vs Del Rio was good, and Orton Vs CM Punk stole the show.
Also, the Miz and Cenas match really isn’t that bad. People just hate the ending, and yes, the booking decision to sacrifice this years match was dumb, but outside of that ending, it was not that bad
I’ve always said Orton vs Punk that year is an underrated gem but Taker vs HHH was still hands down the show stealer for WM 27
Mania 20 is debatable as best 3 way we have ever seen.. hard to argue against Lesnar v Rollins v Cena
My favourite wrestlemania match ever is the Sami Zayn VS Johnny Knoxville in an Anything Goes match at wrestlemania 38. It's a really great match with my favourite wrestler (not Knoxville) in a match where both wrestlers played their parts amazingly. Oh yeah, and Stone Cold VS The Rock is great
