Love these types of videos they make only stay on topic for like 10 minutes before succumbing to the random questions about other armies that have nothing to do with the title of the video. I get why they response to the chats, but I am sure most of use here after airing are here for Blood Angel content and their opinions on it, but damn does the "pay" chat always derails from the topic.

I am appreciating the Lost Brethren detachment more and more each day. Facing off against it with my World Eaters saw him faceplant a unit of 5 DC Marines with Captain into my 10 Berzerkers with MoE. I killed them all, only to have them fight on death and explode the captain to kill me back. All those re-rolls, the dreads, the lethals, and devastating wounds give me pause to say that Lost Brethren might be my favorite
I cant wait for jack to say "theyre just good guys, not broken or anything... look away as i go dunk on everyonen with them" .."just need to delay the nerfs a bit ...😅"
Well at least they can use some of their models. I can't even use my biker chaplains , because they have non longer legal weapon load out. Looks like in 10th, if your army is fun to play for 6 months, with out needing to rebuy the army , you should be extremly happy and some won't even get a month of fun.
@@JackDespero l have 40 bikers, 2 khans on bikes, 2 sztorm seers on bikes, tech marine on bike, 2 chaplains , 10 bike command squad, 20 super squad, 6 land speeders, 15 attack bikes. I also have two 5 Man las/plas tacticals in two razorbacks. Everything l own is legends or can't be run without unit. I can not even run a tactical for one of razorbacks, because l don't have enough bolter marines.
@@piotrjeske4599 That sounds more like a You problem than a general problem people will have, don't you think? Just don't buy a lottery ticket. It so happens that everything that you own went to legends, when for most people, it is at most one or two miniatures in the whole collection. For the the rest of us are fine. Sometimes I use my melta sisters with a flamer loadout, and as long as I tell my opponent, it is fine. And if it is not fine, then I wouldn't want to play against someone like that anyway. Heck when I play outside of Warhammer stores, most of my army are proxies, not even GW minis. Anyway, 99% of people are happy and can play more than 6 months. I am sorry for your loss.

How do you feel about Chaplain on foot with Fight First enhancement in a unit 6 Bladeguard Veterans (obviously in the LAG detachment). Hide them behind cover on an objective, with a Repulsor Behind them. If the opponent brings a unit close but doesn't charge or doesn't make the charge (you Heroically Intervene)(get your S+2, Atk+1, and fight First). If they do make the charge go for the strat that gives +1 Atk & S+1 take the battleshock. Then use the Chaplain once per game ability to unbattleshock yourself, that way you can get Lethal from Red Rampage...
Heroic intervention dont give you the fight first or your bonuses of the charge. And if your opponent didnt charge anything you can not use heroic intervention
@@ORISDOYVAN You do gain charge bonuses if you Heroic. You don't gain THE "charge bonus", which is defined on pg 29 of the rule book as gaining Fights First when you charge. However, as this poster mentioned, he can use the enhancement to gain Fights First at the start of any given fight phase, so the situation he described can be done.
You say the old sang guard data sheet didn’t hit hard, but the new one does. Overall you have lost 8 attacks due to smaller squad size. (5 to 3). Granted the new profile have an increased S and Ap. (Sword profile). But the number of attacks is still reduced. How do you believe they hit harder? I do believe they are significantly more durable despite the net loss of 1w. (But invul and 3w models greatly helps).
They were not worth it when you could get Death Company with full fists for 3ppm cheaper. Now they definetely have the hardest hitting melee profiles the codex.
I really like lemartes and asthorath and their new models. I just dont feel they are worth it leading 5 dc. But 10dc are just too many points for a unit that really doesnt destroy anything it touches. But lets wait for the points.
Lemartes is finished, but Astorath in a full re-roll to hit, devestating wounds, unit puts out an average 14 MW on the charge before all other damage. Throw grenades and it can kill a knight on the charge.
@@tnttv5360 for 10man; I dont think it makes sense to take either Astorath or Lemartes with a 5man as their unit special rules lose a lot value. Yeah we have to wait for final points, but Astorath in codex is at 105pts, Lemartes at 100. I think Astorath is an autotake then, as, with a 10man throwing grenades, his unit will do what our old Lemartes unit did - albeit at the expense of survivability - on every charge/heroic intervention. On the other hand, half of Lemarte's lethal hits will now go to -1ap 1dmg chainswords, so a 10man with him is much much less potent as it was before.
I am really excited about the future nerfs of this codex. They didnt receive the team of the custodian codex, please stop with this difference between codexes...
So probably the wrong place for this but it seems like yall skipped over imperial agents is it that bad. I have a budy semi new to 40k proper he gas played kill team alot to the point where he damn near has 2k points if kill team so he is wanting to learn 40k was hoping to send him to school of war
@@paint4pain he has the voids man dudes and the characters all the assassin's coteaz though I've been using it in my grey knights but that's his. 2 of the breachers the sheild guys and exaction squads

What if BA loose oath of moment. +2st +1a becomes the army rule and the detatchments and sos get a new rule.
As far as the other detachments go, I don't want to have to buy a bunch of models to be able to play them. I don't have THAT many Death Company.

AP3 is no small thing, nor is going to Str 8 on your blades in LAG, now you wound marines on 2's not 3's...
The re roll hit and wound stratagem makes the hit hard

There is play in the navy detachment but it's MSU with a ton of breachers, not something you could build easily with a bunch of different Kill Teams.
