Omg. What a strange game. Really unbelievable pawn storm played on a higher level. Hats off to Mato for finding this hidden gem from the chess history. Love you.
@@MatoJelic that's a bad thing to wish to just anyone. first off, it's infuriating to an atheist. secondly, to an antinatalist. 3rdly, to an environmentalist. I can go on to less common beliefs and even certain diseases or life situations
So basically Diemer had a forced check mate in 55 moves planned from the time the pieces were placed on the board. What a brilliant game. Thank you Mato.
When I first started playing chess, I often played against a guy who ALWAYS used pawn storms. He would do ANYTHING to create a passed pawn. Eventually I ceased to be intimidated by such tactics. I learned how to block his pawn storms and to exploit the weaknesses that they created in his position. He finally abandoned pawn storms -- at least when he played against Me.
Crazy, and weird game! Thanks for posting. Diemer is a fun player to watch. Hey Mato, do you have any games from when he played the Blackmar Diemer Gambit? I don't remember if you actually do, or not.
Mato, i have a question, i let my friends listen to your unique voice, and they said he is making up his voice. So is this your natural voice? Thank you for the videos ❤️
I know this game by heart. E.Diemer was the prophet, too bad he was just to week to defense successfully his visionary style of chess against the top players.
Emil Josef Diemer died in 1990, yet you said this game was played in 1994! As per the description, the game was played in 1984, not 1994. Nevertheless, a very impressive game for a 76-year-old man.

That's the wildest game I've ever seen. I could easily have believed that David Bronstein played White.
THE CALM AFTER THE STORM WAS MORE TERRIFYING THAN THE STORM ITSELF!!!V.W.
This has got to be the strangest game Mato has shown.
Whenever I try that, I always end up a day late and a pawn short.
What a brilliant game. What a wild attack. True showdown of pawn power.
The way u say white played a move and black resign is fantastic..u r voice is awesome
Thank you, may God bless you with many grandchildren

@@GeneralArmorus You shouldn't worry, the blessing was not for you
@@MatoJelic yes, perhaps you know that person.
Can't believe what i saw.
Frank Marshall's Immortal Pawn game is even more outrageous
Bravo Mato, vrhunski meč
1:25 g7 en passant would have been an interesting continuation here.
Thank you for this really immortal pawn storm! Really love your comments...
OK Mato! you got me again that was bliss.

It's a great game being played. Far away from opening books and memorisation. Figured out over the board.
Long before modern chess there was lats of fun to explore at early game
Thanks again Mato
Great pawn game in the end
