Hello, which settings do I need to adjust to make the water softer? We tested the water and it is still at 11 for hardness.. do I need to increase the brine fill time? I have the 48,000 grains, and only 2 people in our household.
Just purchased this. Should we change any settings or leave a default settings?
After install and program, I see water in the tank above the salt pellets. Is that normal?
So if my unit says 43 gallons and it has just been draining all over my yard does that mean it’s regenerating? It’s 330 Pm and doing this I thought it regenerated at night.
Mine isnt counting down the gallons for some reason, and the wire in the back of the head IS plugged into where it's supposed to go

Hi Emiliano, we would actually advise contacting our support so we can go over the programming with you and ensuring that your settings are correct.
I live in Belize and have a aquasure my question is after programming the system then I get a power outage do I need to reprogram the system again.
You shouldn't need to if the power outage is very short. However, it is always a good practice to check out the setting whenever there's an poweroutage.
I'm renting and we just had the Aquasure Fortitude V Pro Series whole house water filter installed. The landlord has no clue about how it works. It has been installed for over a month and I haven't heard it work whatsoever. All the settings are default like the video. It still is showing 1000 gallons. And I haven't seen the salt level go down at all. I'm guessing it has done anything so far. How do I know this is even working properly? Thank you

How do you know when you need to add more salt to the brine tank?
I always refill mine until it's close to 1/4 or a little more than that. I never let it completely run out.
How do you set it to manually start the regeneration cycle?, please only answer if you know, thank you
Unplug it. Connect it back then hold the regen button . Works for me
I’ve noticed mine doesn’t count down on the gallons of water being used. Im not sure why but that tells me it’s not regen at 1k gallons at my Airbnb.

What is the height from the base of the tank to the centerline of the inlet piping?

The volume on our equipment started at 1000 (3 person household). It is now at 168, i added one bag of salt crystals but the number stayed at 168 after checking it 1 hour later. Do i need to reset it? If so, how do i do this? Neither of the two booklets that came with the equipment provide instructions for this at all. Please help!
the number is counting down the gallon of water usage, it would stays the same unless water is being used. We would recommend contacting our support at 1800-661-0680 for any questions or concerns in regards to our water softeners.
I got one of these that runs 3 hours fast per month. Annoying to have to reset it all the time.
how long is the backwash time and slow rinse time? thanks.
The backwashing time is set at default of 15min, and 10 min for the rinse.
I have a 56SE and the gears are having a problem. Popping sound and not rotating. When I remove left one it stops. I think I need to line it up better than the middle one. Can someone please post a picture of how it should line up before regenerating?
I never should have removed it.

can I re program my aquasure water softener I think my softener is not working the first month is ok but the month is not working properly
Hi Salvanas, yes, you can reprogram your control valve, or you can also reach out to us so we can help see if there's anything that needs to be adjusted.
We installed this water softener about 6 months ago along with a new pressure tank. It worked great the first 4 months and then stopped working all of a sudden. The salt tank began to overfill with water so we cleaned the filter piece out on the side of the tall tank. It worked for about 2-3 weeks after that and then we started having water pressure issues. Now We can’t run 2 things at once. When we bypass the softener the pressure is fine. We are on well water and the regen is set to every 800 gallons. We have 4 people in the household. Anybody have issues with water pressure after using this system? TIA

Calll customer service! That is why they have an 800 number. Most companies do not monitor all channels on youtube, tht is why they have a customer service dept.
How do you relieve pressure so I can redo the Teflon on the out connector of the back of the control screen?
We recommend shutting off the main water line and then opening a cold water faucet to release any built-up pressure before disconnecting the connector at the back of the control valve.
Does it use battery backup for time in case power off?
No
I'm confused. So the default is 1000 gallons. I only have 2 people with a 46000 grain. The calculation tool increase the gallon as I lower the ppt? What exactly it this number telling me?
Depending on the hardness of your water, you will plug that number into the formula we provided in the owners manual to get the exact amount of th gallons that the system can treat before it needs a regeneration. If your water hardness is not very high, most likely the system can treat more gallons of water than the default 1000 gallons.
Just moved into a home with the in it …. Trying to figure it out . By me scrolling to change the time . It automatically reset it to 1000 gallons when I was at 200 gallons . By me changing it to the correct time reset the prior settings?

do we need flush the bottle with water before installation
If you are referring to the resin tank. You don't need to. The system start up will help flushes any installation debris, if there are any created during the installation.
My control unit regularly quits counting gallons and does not recognize water flow. Its a new unit. what should i do?

What is the hardness setting automatically set to on these?
The system does not have a preset hardness setting, but a preset gallons setting. It is preset to regenerate every 1000 gallons, and you can change the gallons by inputting your hardness on our gallon calculation tool page . aquasureusa.com/pages/aquasure-harmony-water-softener-support
@@Aquasure So it's just equipped to remove up to 48,000 grains of hardness and 10PPM of iron? so as long as your hardness is below that, you're good?
I’ve been trying to figure out how many “grains of hardness” I need. Every article I’ve found about it is anywhere from 1 to 2 trillion words long. I don’t want a phd in water softener knowledge. I just want the applicable information for figuring my water softener needs. Any suggestions?
If you know your hardness from a water test (eg: in ppm) there are calculators to convert PPM to GPG online, such as sciencing.com/convert-ppm-grains-water-hardness-8406171.html (hint: GPG = PPM / 17.1) IF you don't know the actual water hardness for your home from a test, you can try to see if your town has that data (assuming city water). If on well, you really need to test your water. You can get this done for about $40 from places like www.wardlab.com/product/water-test-kit This site is setup for people who brew beer, but their Brewer's Test (W-501) or Household (W-5) are both only $27 and have total hardness, among other things. You can add on lots of other tests if desired - but that won't affect your needs for water softening.

@@christophercloudstrider5877 You can plug in the 24 grains which equal to 24gpg and the number of people in your house to the calculation tools link we provided in our previous reply. You will then be able to find out the number of gallons you need to apply to your water softener based on the size of the system you own.

Just call them. I've installed two units and had to call them 4 or 5 times and they always answer and always know how to fix anything. Their customer service is awesome.
I recently purchased one of your water softeners, to my dismay 😩 there was no owners manual or assembly instructions. I get upset when McDonalds forgets to give me a straw, you can’t imagine how unset I was over this. Watching videos they all say fallow the instructions in your manual. Gee I wish I had one😡
