This is a really cool concept and I'm impressed that it looks so much like an official boss. That being said, my suggestion would be to lower its poise and maybe health as well to reflect that it's as small and fast as malenia and has the damage output of Malekith. Creating basically a combination of the two most deadly bosses in the game is awesome, but in this state it would be absolutely unplayable in game.

If she wasn’t immune to all damage when she goes to second phase, a few of the bosses would’ve probably beaten her. Taking less damage instead of invincibility would’ve been better.
I like the lore the convergence mod gives to these new bosses for example, the matriarch was groomed from birth to become the new leader of the godsskins and. When the night of the black knives happened she sent out a voyage to find the cursemark to reclaim the power over death they once to had.
But it also operates on an egregious misinterpretation of the lore. They nevet got their power from the cursemark, the cursemark is not the rune of death. The rune of death is malikeths sword, and on the night of the black knives it was broken and pieces were stolen in order to make the black knives. The cursemark of death is something that can be carved on a living thing with the rune of death in order to kill that thing.
Yeah you’re right the black knives stole pieces of it and used it to make the cursemark meaning it has traces of the rune of death. In it why do you think a godskin noble was on the bridge in the base game divine tower? Where you get the curse mark to do exactly what this mod did I can see why you are confused though.

Which, it's worth mentioning, should mean that by the end of the game, the Godskin's black flame should be able to kill gods again, since we unbind Destined Death after killing Maliketh.
Watching these cool fan made bosses is interesting to me because I’m not a pc player, so I might not experience this Convergence Mod as intended. But I think it’s awesome that you’re making the official bosses fight Convergence bosses, I’m hoping you have future plans for more Convergence boss fights.
It was fitting the only ones she died to(other than Rick soldier of God, of course) were Malenia, whose move set she got, and Maliketh, who they got destined death skills from. I'm just glad to finally see ONE NPC beat Fire Giant and Rykard!

What I try to say here is that, just because a piece of history book said he killed the queen, that doesn’t necessarily mean he is stronger than the queen.

I'm not going to lie; when she was running towards the Elden Beast and his arrows were trailing her perfectly in a line, that was pretty cool. It was like some Naruto-type sh*t.
The Godskin theme fits her so well! It starts out almost eerily regal but ends with sounding like the end of the world is a dance she knows all the steps to. Beautiful

A lot of the boss v boss battles don't use the actual godskin duo, the godskin duo fight does have a different ai than normal apostle and noble, which SOMETIMES works to make them alternate attacks (noticeable when noble is rolling, the apostle will usually not attack unless you interact with him)
But look at the delay between her attacks. I think it's a good balance. She's strong AF but looks like you have a lot of open opportunities to attack which is fairer than some bosses the devs created!

Not as broke as Maliketh though. The DLC bosses are gonna be a walk in the park for DD users, unless Fromsoft is smart enough to make them immune to DD or severely nerfs Maliketh and DD before the DLC comes out. Otherwise the DLC is gonna be too easy for DD users.
I've said this before and I'll say it again Maliketh just isn't in the mood to let go of the death rune. He's there for the rune and he won't stop until it all ends. Gosh I wish I had a good doggo like him.

Bravo! That was insanely close and I love your careful camerawork! Impressive and visually stunning! Morgott the Lord of Grace mod is basically a lore-accurate version of Morgott. Could you perhaps test him against the Elden Ring bosses if that's okay? I don't mind however long it takes, just curious about modded Morgott the Lord of Grace could do, considering mods are in the equation. I also really loved the army vs army videos, or OP boss vs army (sometimes the army had a boss too), could you do those again?
Just goes to show that you can give a boss with both Blackflame and Destined Death, yet Malenia's rally per hit is just insane to the point where it's up in the air on who will win.

Honestly it seems like Mohg has a good chance of killing her often enough if given another chance. He just got unlucky cuz it seems like a few attacks just went over her head for some reason.
TBH this only shows how cool it would be if we had a abyss watcher type fight in Elden ring, where the bosses are super mobile with cool complex move sets in just a big mosh pit where you have to come out on top.
She is an amazing boss but i feel like she has too much poise on top of having a fast poise break recovery. Was actually rooting for malenia on this one 😂 Also wheres godfrey? Was expecting some smack downs
Not only do they have surface level understanding of the artistic direction, this boss that has zero weaknesses shows they're crappy gameplay designers when it comes to bosses. As usual, the fans fail to notice, but if the game featured bosses like this regularly, they would gouge their eyes out and complain rightfully. But alas, when it comes to the modding scene, people strangely have way lower expectations yet hype these contents just as much as AAA content, even though the quality is obviously inferior.
Try the mod before you hate on it because you got so many things wrong. First the bosses are not the only ones that get stronger the player does too, I have seen people legit throw nukes at the bosses. Try the mod I promise you won’t regret it.

More importantly, player and NPC statistics are part of a greater design whole, that you can call sandbox; roughly, the setting in which all game mechanics converge and interact with each other. On their own, select statistics such as poise, damage values and stamina aren't a reliable way to balance a game in a way that makes it enjoyable. Third person combat games like Fromsoft develop aren't D&D sessions that you can solely balance on a few key aspects, you have to pay attention to the greater whole. The fact they were not able to notice before release that the boss gives no window of retaliation to slow builds, for example with that humongously wrong amount of poise among a pile of other causes, shows that they don't understand the sandbox.
probably not. at 23:43 she healed randomly when she's not supposed to, making the fight longer. Maliketh in his own arena is also much more mobile and stays out of her reach a lot longer than in her arena
So just how the hell does she have more poise then half the bosses in the game? She is protected by skin. She should be criminally easy to knock down, like Frieda. And not only, why does she do more dmg THAN THE FINAL BOSS IN THE GAME
Okay. This boss seems horribly OP for where in the game she is. She seems harder than most late game bosses. She's where Ranni's cursemark is. So, you have a boss on par with Mohg at a point in the game where most players aren't ready for that kind of fight. Not to mention how much of a difficulty drop Astel would be in comparison.

@@DataDrain02 they actually are. Margit and Godrick both hit faster and Godrick's health was increased by a lot. Some bosses were also replaced by original convergence bosses such as Godskin Duo being replaced and Gideon being replaced by a boss designed to counter spell casters

She has WAY TOO MUCH POISE and her Destined Death is OP! Why not just maker use other Black Flame attacks in Phase 2? Convergence mod is nice and all, but it's nuts.
The reason why they did that is because in the convergence mod the boss is not the boss. YOU ARE THE BOSS in that mod I have seen people absolutely dog wash Malania I have seen people actually one shot the main game bosses. I have seen people legit come back from the dead in that mod In that mod you are GOD and the world is your playground. There is a reason why they allow you to spawn at the mountain top of the giants in your first Playthrough trust me.
Why does she have the Cursemark, and why does it seem to be portraying it as the source of her Destined Death powers? That quite literally never had anything whatsoever to do with the Godskins, or... well, anything at all, really, besides Those Who Live In Death. It's not a source of power, and it never even existed when the Godskins had the capacity to kill gods, because it only came into being when Godwyn and Ranni's body died, and that happened long after Maliketh had already locked away Destined Death and robbed the Godskin's black flame of the power to kill gods. And for that matter, why does she even have the ability to wield Destined Death? The Godskins could never use Destined Death, it was just that their black flames were linked to it and so got the ability to kill gods from it. But they could never actually utilize the Rune of Death itself. I mean, I'm sorry, I get that a lot of effort was put into this, and that's awesome, but it feels like the person who made it didn't actually really understand the lore they were trying to expand upon. And from a purely gameplay perspective, why did they give her nearly infinite poise? I think I saw her stance break maybe twice. She's clearly meant to be as fast and deadly as the likes of Malenia, so why does she lack Malenia's one meaningful weakness?
As you said the black falme is linked to destined death , her lore is that she called upon the power of destined death in order to restore the flame to its original state , also , as for the poise , the spells on this mod are bonkers , so in order to keep the balance they decided to give her a lot of poise
Funnily if it weren't for the max hp scaling of destined death(which is way stronger than black flame) she'd actually do way worse against Radagon in her second phase because unless her's is different, destined death attacks do holy damage while black flame attacks do, well, fire damage. Radagon has 0 fire resistance but absurd holy resistance

You can definitely tell that this isn't an official boss. She is too fast, too aggressive, does too much damage, and takes way too many hits. Either have her be fast and deal massive damage or durable and wear down your health but not both people! As it stands she comes off as a bit boring and it doesn't seem like she would be fun to play against.
Idea for a new video: Prime Godskin duo. Giving their blackflame powers destined death and when they entire stage 2, they gain 35% physical damage resistance and their weapons become infused with destined death.
no the mod gave her lore to make her fit alongside the gloam eyed queen. in this case she was groomed since birth in order to be the next leader, im assuming post gloam eyed queen's defeat at the hands of Malekith. So she's essentially her replacement who went in search of the curse mark(should've just gotten one of the black knives or searched for Malekith himself since it makes more sense) in order to wield a fragment of the death rune again. That's why her destined death is weaker than Malekith's. If it was GEQ then she would be wielding the godslayer great sword and have the same amount of potency in her destined death, but this one doesn't even cut the hp by 10% like his.

She's actually pretty managable. she's from the convergence mod, which makes the tarnished player more powerful then usual.

Morgott the Lord of Grace mod is basically a lore-accurate version of Morgott. Could you perhaps test him against the Elden Ring bosses if that's okay? I don't mind however long it takes, just curious about modded Morgott the Lord of Grace could do, considering mods are in the equation.

Honestly it seems like Mohg has a good chance of killing her often enough if given another chance. He just got unlucky cuz it seems like a few attacks just went over her head for some reason.
TBH this only shows how cool it would be if we had a abyss watcher type fight in Elden ring, where the bosses are super mobile with cool complex move sets in just a big mosh pit where you have to come out on top.

I love how this shows how little the convergance modders undetstand the lore.
Not only do they have surface level understanding of the artistic direction, this boss that has zero weaknesses shows they're crappy gameplay designers when it comes to bosses. As usual, the fans fail to notice, but if the game featured bosses like this regularly, they would gouge their eyes out and complain rightfully. But alas, when it comes to the modding scene, people strangely have way lower expectations yet hype these contents just as much as AAA content, even though the quality is obviously inferior.

Try the mod before you hate on it because you got so many things wrong. First the bosses are not the only ones that get stronger the player does too, I have seen people legit throw nukes at the bosses. Try the mod I promise you won’t regret it.

More importantly, player and NPC statistics are part of a greater design whole, that you can call sandbox; roughly, the setting in which all game mechanics converge and interact with each other.
On their own, select statistics such as poise, damage values and stamina aren't a reliable way to balance a game in a way that makes it enjoyable. Third person combat games like Fromsoft develop aren't D&D sessions that you can solely balance on a few key aspects, you have to pay attention to the greater whole. The fact they were not able to notice before release that the boss gives no window of retaliation to slow builds, for example with that humongously wrong amount of poise among a pile of other causes, shows that they don't understand the sandbox.

probably not. at 23:43 she healed randomly when she's not supposed to, making the fight longer.
Maliketh in his own arena is also much more mobile and stays out of her reach a lot longer than in her arena

Okay. This boss seems horribly OP for where in the game she is.
She seems harder than most late game bosses.
She's where Ranni's cursemark is. So, you have a boss on par with Mohg at a point in the game where most players aren't ready for that kind of fight. Not to mention how much of a difficulty drop Astel would be in comparison.
This is because shes from the convergence mod, in convergence you can become super op early on and just speed run bosses if you build right

@@DataDrain02 they actually are. Margit and Godrick both hit faster and Godrick's health was increased by a lot. Some bosses were also replaced by original convergence bosses such as Godskin Duo being replaced and Gideon being replaced by a boss designed to counter spell casters
@DataDrain02 Malania gets a new version of her water foul dance where she does small jumps, unleashing small bursts of the attack. I would recommend getting the mod I would get it if I had a PC so now I just ask others to possess a treasure I cannot have.🥲

in the fanmade lore that they made, the godskin matriarch is replacing the gloam eyed queen trying to rebuild the godskins

Convergence mod is nice and all, but it's nuts.
The reason why they did that is because in the convergence mod the boss is not the boss. YOU ARE THE BOSS in that mod I have seen people absolutely dog wash Malania I have seen people actually one shot the main game bosses. I have seen people legit come back from the dead in that mod In that mod you are GOD and the world is your playground. There is a reason why they allow you to spawn at the mountain top of the giants in your first Playthrough trust me.
So yeah that’s the reason I recommend playing the mod you’ll see.

Daaayum there were some cinematic moments. Radagon's killing blow, and Mogh's Nihil into Matriarchs 2nd phase especially. daayumm.
Why does she have the Cursemark, and why does it seem to be portraying it as the source of her Destined Death powers? That quite literally never had anything whatsoever to do with the Godskins, or... well, anything at all, really, besides Those Who Live In Death. It's not a source of power, and it never even existed when the Godskins had the capacity to kill gods, because it only came into being when Godwyn and Ranni's body died, and that happened long after Maliketh had already locked away Destined Death and robbed the Godskin's black flame of the power to kill gods. And for that matter, why does she even have the ability to wield Destined Death? The Godskins could never use Destined Death, it was just that their black flames were linked to it and so got the ability to kill gods from it. But they could never actually utilize the Rune of Death itself.
I mean, I'm sorry, I get that a lot of effort was put into this, and that's awesome, but it feels like the person who made it didn't actually really understand the lore they were trying to expand upon.
And from a purely gameplay perspective, why did they give her nearly infinite poise? I think I saw her stance break maybe twice. She's clearly meant to be as fast and deadly as the likes of Malenia, so why does she lack Malenia's one meaningful weakness?
As you said the black falme is linked to destined death , her lore is that she called upon the power of destined death in order to restore the flame to its original state , also , as for the poise , the spells on this mod are bonkers , so in order to keep the balance they decided to give her a lot of poise
Funnily if it weren't for the max hp scaling of destined death(which is way stronger than black flame) she'd actually do way worse against Radagon in her second phase because unless her's is different, destined death attacks do holy damage while black flame attacks do, well, fire damage. Radagon has 0 fire resistance but absurd holy resistance

You can definitely tell that this isn't an official boss. She is too fast, too aggressive, does too much damage, and takes way too many hits. Either have her be fast and deal massive damage or durable and wear down your health but not both people! As it stands she comes off as a bit boring and it doesn't seem like she would be fun to play against.

The Godskin Matriarch is basically just the Gloam-Eyed Queen.
no the mod gave her lore to make her fit alongside the gloam eyed queen. in this case she was groomed since birth in order to be the next leader, im assuming post gloam eyed queen's defeat at the hands of Malekith. So she's essentially her replacement who went in search of the curse mark(should've just gotten one of the black knives or searched for Malekith himself since it makes more sense) in order to wield a fragment of the death rune again. That's why her destined death is weaker than Malekith's. If it was GEQ then she would be wielding the godslayer great sword and have the same amount of potency in her destined death, but this one doesn't even cut the hp by 10% like his.
