Hoslow was easily the MVP of the entire video; that being said, Tanith's Knight in the fight at 26:50 was truly heroic as he repeatedly put himself between Malenia and Alberich

I put Hoslow's whips on my mimic when I fight Malania and then I switch back to the Blasphemous blade..... it's amazing to watch and makes for a very quick end to the fight lol those whips are OP af.
They finished her off but the bulk of the work was done by the previous two. If there was two useless NPCs before them and she got to heal to 2/3 hp off of them then they might not have won
@Steveo101383 I did notice that! In the Margot fight the first time I'd summoned her I noticed that it was a heal, and I had kinda assumed she had cast it before. But there's something really beautiful and telling that she casts a lasting heal spell as part of her death animation^_^
Melina honestly has a really cool moveset. She has a few unique spells and attack animations. And even her movement animations are different to other npc's. It's a shame she does almost no damage tho😔

this isn’t really so much a malenia problem as it is a fromsoft problem tbh. bloodborne has the same issue with the rally mechanic, it’s just a thing with lingering hit boxes after death

Malenia never ceases to be a delight to watch. There were a few close calls, but she pulled through masterfully in the solo round. In the duo round, the fact that her final battle was against arguably the two most evil Tarnished of all, and the way Gideon killed her deific form with godslaying dark fire was tragically poetic.

The order of npcs had an astronomical effect at the outcome here. If the weaker fighters when first then the medium and then all the bleed fighters and then the fire sheild guy and bernahl and gideon it would have raps alot easier for solo
In the solo gauntlet, there were so many times I was like "Malenia's cooked, she's not getting past half health ever again" AND THEN SHE DID, I was like OH MY GOD, UNBELIEVABLE, DID YOU SEE THAT
I never knew malenia was THIS NICE! She made the way she eliminated some of her opponents look like it was movie produced because it was so precise and flawless! Three clean moves and one gone. Another three clean strikes and another one bites the dust. Another three clean strikes digging even further into her moves set and another bites the dust. Then she washed and repeated this to get all of her health back because she almost bought it at the midway part of this video. I just had to mention it because this video got me Amped up! I'm not the kind of person to often tell a content creator good video, but this one was nice!

It's honestly hilarious to see some NPCs put in an insane amount of work and nearly killing her, only to be followed up by ones that are essentially free heals to Malenia. What genuinely surprised me was Alexander bowling her over several times. He didn't make a lot of attacks but the ones he *did* make hit like a freight train.
This teaches me, so far, that Malenia's design is intended to make it so that with enough output and mitigation (of both damage and poise) the first phase of Malenia can be beaten with "guts." Phase two, though, not so much.
At last, Giddy and Dung were able to do it. Thing is she so aggressive, extremely mobile and swipes so many times with that waterfowl dance that with each hit replenishes health it's very difficult to beat her because she's always regenning. And then there's that 2nd phase that kicks in after the 1st with full health to boot that is even more lethal including that big flower nuke that NPCs are unable to avoid and get caught in it every time.
How unsurprising that Patches would ragequit right after feeding, costing his team the victory lmao Gideon would have ended the fight if Melania hadn't gotten the healing she did from Patches. Then Anastasia straight up choked right before the finish line.
At this point I'm convinced, aside from like Maliketh, Malenia deserves the title of Itachi, the Solo Queen. The fact that she scales this high is wild
30:24 The Malenia vs Millicent rematch was one-sided, but epic! Malenia send her clones after Tragoth and focuses all her attention on Millicent, who she completely dominates. Malenia is much more aggressive than last time, Millicent can't even get a single hit on her. It feels like it's personal. A mother spanking her child! Malenia prepares to land the finishing blow on Millicent, but Tragoth intervenes and draws her attention towards him. Malenia redirects her attack at Tragoth instead and quickly dispatches him without taking any damage. But this gives Millicent enough time to heal herself. The two battle blow for blow. However, Malenia is doing far more damage and heals from all of Millicent's attacks. Then Malenia decides to get serious and prepares the Waterfowl Dance, to show Millicent how the attack is truly done. Millicent drinks the last of her healing potion, then launches herself into the air to strike Malenia! Malenia unleashes the Waterfowel Dance while Millicent is in mid-air. Millicent manages to get a few more strikes in but she is beaten to an inch of her life by the deadly dance. She falls to the ground once the dance is over and is at her limit. Malenia waits for Millicent to get up and heal herself (almost as if she's enjoying this). But Millicent is out of healing potion and so Malenia decides to finish the fight in epic fashion. She prepares to charge at her opponent and unleash a powerful finishing blow! Millicent realizing that this is her last stand, decides to use her strongest move: the Waterfowel Dance. She knows that she can not win this fight, but wants to go down fighting. She jumps into the air and then dives downward, swinging her blade towards Malenia, who simultaneously swings her blade upward towards Millicent in contrast. Their blades clashed! The outcome is predictable. Malenia remained undefeated. While Millicent looks up in the sky one last time, before falling to the Blade of Miquella...
I would have found it funnier is the boss patches version was used where he begs he'd just be easy fodder but it would be hilarious to see him get smoked begging for his life
This was a real treat to watch for anyone fought against her, and my goodness Gideon, with the way TH-cam pits him against other npcs I’m sure this was refreshing for him😂😂😂
We have a lot of medals to give: Pyromancer Chief: for having stood the best against Malenia. Okina: for having done the most damage in coop. Guy with the goat helmet: for having been the best cooperator and good damage dealer. Gideon Ofnir: For having defeated Malenia in coop. Dung eater: For having rolled and reacted well to most of her attacks. Bernhard: for being the best damage sponge to Malenia's attacks. Tanith knight: for having killed Malenia in her first phase in coop. Let me solo her: for having done all the job these guys did in a few minutes.
This really sets it in stone that Melania is the hardest most broken boss in the entire soulsborne series. The only boss I've legitimately faced in all the souls games that I've played that I'd say is very close to unfair. Especially the sword dance move which basically is the f u you can't dodge this an you'll take alot of damage and I get all that health back move. People always say oh you can dodge it yea you can smart ass but the window is so small its ridiculous. Just not a fun enjoyable fight at all. Without the hp regain I'd be fine with her. I have a word for Melania and what I think about her despite the lore and it starts with a C and ends in a T. I'll let you fill the blanks

Malenia was literally at 10% HP before Gideon and Dung fought her. The two guys before them did the job, from 100% to 10%, they're the real MVPs

30:24 The Malenia vs Millicent rematch was one-sided, but epic! Malenia send her clones after Tragoth and focuses all her attention on Millicent, who she completely dominates. Malenia is much more aggressive than last time, Millicent can't even get a single hit on her. It feels like it's personal. A mother spanking her child!
Malenia prepares to land the finishing blow on Millicent, but Tragoth intervenes and draws her attention towards him. Malenia redirects her attack at Tragoth instead and quickly dispatches him without taking any damage. But this gives Millicent enough time to heal herself. The two battle blow for blow. However, Malenia is doing far more damage and heals from all of Millicent's attacks. Then Malenia decides to get serious and prepares the Waterfowl Dance, to show Millicent how the attack is truly done. Millicent drinks the last of her healing potion, then launches herself into the air to strike Malenia!
Malenia unleashes the Waterfowel Dance while Millicent is in mid-air. Millicent manages to get a few more strikes in but she is beaten to an inch of her life by the deadly dance. She falls to the ground once the dance is over and is at her limit. Malenia waits for Millicent to get up and heal herself (almost as if she's enjoying this). But Millicent is out of healing potion and so Malenia decides to finish the fight in epic fashion. She prepares to charge at her opponent and unleash a powerful finishing blow!
Millicent realizing that this is her last stand, decides to use her strongest move: the Waterfowel Dance. She knows that she can not win this fight, but wants to go down fighting. She jumps into the air and then dives downward, swinging her blade towards Malenia, who simultaneously swings her blade upward towards Millicent in contrast. Their blades clashed!
The outcome is predictable. Malenia remained undefeated. While Millicent looks up in the sky one last time, before falling to the Blade of Miquella...

This was a real treat to watch for anyone fought against her, and my goodness Gideon, with the way TH-cam pits him against other npcs I’m sure this was refreshing for him😂😂😂

Bernhard: for being the best damage sponge to Malenia's attacks.
Tanith knight: for having killed Malenia in her first phase in coop.
Let me solo her: for having done all the job these guys did in a few minutes.
This really sets it in stone that Melania is the hardest most broken boss in the entire soulsborne series. The only boss I've legitimately faced in all the souls games that I've played that I'd say is very close to unfair. Especially the sword dance move which basically is the f u you can't dodge this an you'll take alot of damage and I get all that health back move. People always say oh you can dodge it yea you can smart ass but the window is so small its ridiculous. Just not a fun enjoyable fight at all. Without the hp regain I'd be fine with her. I have a word for Melania and what I think about her despite the lore and it starts with a C and ends in a T. I'll let you fill the blanks
