- FNAF World is one of the most abstract pieces of lore in its already pretty abstract franchise. However, have you ever asked yourself if the place we play in, the Flipside, has ever appeared anywhere else.
In this video, not only will I explain what I believe the Flipside is, and what that tells us about the events of FNAF World, but also the multiple ramifications its properties may have in the rest of the lore. Cassidy went and said "If I can't find a glitched object I'll make one myself!" and it actually seems to be working, probably to the shock and curiosity of Old Man Consequences as he realizes that there might actually be a way out of the fourth layer
I like the image of Cassidy repeatedly running into a tree, screaming that she’s gonna find a way out, much to the chagrin of OMC; only for her to suddenly glitch through it one day and leave OMC going insane

One bit of confirmation we see of remnant being attached to a game can be seen in phantom chica and her arcade machine. We can assume susie like arcade games due to fruity maze, who is to say that chica didn't possess the arcade machine due to memories of her being attached to it?

You got really close to a theory I had before Security Breach. As the theory goes, the souls ended up in the in-universe indie games that were recreating their trauma. FNAF World takes place within the code of these games, and the main spirit is putting the pieces in place for the player of FNAF 3 to ignite the Happiest Day and free the spirits from the games.
It’s also where UCN takes place and how Afton got transferred to the VR game in digital form (he was already a digital ghost). Cassidy was transferred to the VR game through Curse of DreadBear (Evidence: The secret “It’s Me” message and the death screen that says “Where am I?”) When Glitchtrap took over the PizzaPlex systems, he segregated Cassidy into Princess Quest.
I still think this theory holds up.
Yep! That's a really good theory, and I'm glad to see it's pretty similar to mine! Originally, Glitchtrap getting into the VR game was one of the points I was going to bring up, but with the whole Mimic situation going on, I didn't feel confident enough to mention it. Thanks for the comment!

@@Silent_N_Productions I came back to this video after seeing Ruin, it seems that real life glitched objects are pretty much confirmed, you've predicted it! 😅
My guess, Bite Victim is meant to replace Cassidy as Golden Freddy, since Cassidy (if she is the vengeful spirit/one you should not have killed) jumped from Golden Freddy to attaching to Afton (no matter how many times they burn us). So, it’s possible that the puppet sort of recruits the Bite Victim to complete the group. This could mean the ending of FNaF 4 could actually be occurring later than his actual death.
The MoltenMCI connection being that the 4 non-Cassidy victims are torn apart by being mixed and separated. But Cassidy is bonded to Springtrap. It’s possible that the puppet finds a way to bring BV into Molten Freddy (or Cassidy and BV were cohabiting GF, but we’re separated when William destroyed the various animatronics, resulting in Cassidy merging with Springtrap, while BV and the 4 remaining MCI end up molten and becoming the Funtimes->Ennard->Molten Freddy).
Sort of a way to have both 2 soul Golden Freddy, and 5 soul molten MCI, etc.

I think Desk Man was originally straight up just meant to be Scott, especially with the suicidal imagery present in the scene where he's dead at the desk. That weird image of Mangle hanging herself that also came out during FNAF World's development or whatever, and Scott's own statements about not being in the right state of mind when he was making FNAF World pretty heavily imply that he wasn't doing very well mentally. The Scott sprite you fight is a version of himself Scott put in the games, while Desk Man is the actual Scott, IMO.

I would find it interesting if Ruin comes out, confirms Cassidy as the girl in the teaser poster/ protagonist of Ruin, and either strongly hints (as is most likely) or out right confirms this theory. Also, I agree with the point that Afton tearing down the animatronics is the thing that went wrong, but I think that more specificly it's the creation of agony, not just remnant. The only problem with my theory is the existence of the shadow animatronics, but those could have been from the agony (emotion) from Henry and Michael (and/or William depending on the situation) latching on to remnant and creating agony (the parallel to remnant).
Yeah, Ruin could have some pretty interesting ramifications for this theory. And your interpretations of agony and remnant are very interesting, I don't think I've ever heard of that interpretation of the Shadows before. Thanks for the comment!
I feel like FNAF World might have felt more relevant if it wasn't an extra esoteric FNAF 3 tie-in; considering other than the vague "FNAF PS happens after it", FNAF 3 wasn't ever really relevant again. Maybe if FNAF World included some sort of hint as to why William turned into a peanut, it would have felt more worthwhile, but honestly, we already knew enough about Happiest Day even at the time that it didn't provide much of anything.
Honestly, yeah. You have to stretch so hard to make it mean anything, it just feels so needlessly confusing :p

As FNAF world being my personal favorite in the series (weird I know) this video is something I'm surprised was never touched on by most people, but I loved it so keep up the great work
I like the Golden Freddi-port is subtunnel use. Another thing that is in universe that possibly links souls, glitches and the real world is... Glitchtrap. Regardless if we think he is actually ghost Afton in the code or the Mimic1 program emulating Afton [after playing too much FNaF], Glitchtrap, a virtual entity, possibly possessed lines of code, manages to control 2-3 people [Faceless Jeremy, Vanessa, and possibly Gregory for a time] and Animatronics who [presumably] never played in-universe FNaF VR to be infected.
You know, originally, part of the virtual reality and ghost world mixing was trying to explain how William turned into Glitchtrap, but that ran into an issue with the Mimic XD

Also sometimes there doesn't need to be evidence. Some things may have had no evidence to begin with because Scott thought they'd be obvious. But what can I say? This is FNaF so people always find some sort of evidence to make their theory and that's how theories get complicated.

At 20:06, we dont quite know much about his post-bite scenario aside from "he cant see, and can only hear things, and eventually dies".
He's in a void, hearing his brother apologizing, the plushies appear, and he Flatlines sometime after.
Could it be possible/likely he was in the Hospital for longer than a few days, long enough for Charlie to Possess the Puppet?
Especially considering, again the monitor, alongside the Flowers, pills, and IV drip as shown in 4...
EDIT: For "Something went wrong", what if it's the MCI occurring? A *massive* burst of Agony, in a short time, new Animatronics becoming possessed, Others (Shadow Bonnie and/or Shadow Freddy) manifesting, etc.
Either MCI or potentially DCI, even? Although that raises a question of how a DCI's souls would GET to FNAF World in pieces exactly...
Haven't started the vid but i wanna say that the flipside to me is fnaf world's way of saying there is representing a decent into madness. Reason being that when you get down deep enough you end up in OMC's dimension which in ucn was used to depict william being trapped to damnation (the voice line in the OMC easter egg)

With one matching Charlotte's text colour, and the other Matching Cassidy, so unless Cassidy and Charlotte are the same person, Glitch Fredbear and the Cock Ending speaker aren't really the same person.
It's a fair point, and definitively a possibilty I shouldn't have glossed over so easily.
Though, if you took the hex codes straight from the video, I'll warn you they may not be entirely accurate? My computer may have compressed the images weird or something, because I have some pictures where the "Golden Eyes" are completely white XD
But even if they're different hex codes, I'd be careful using that as evidence. Purple Guy in FNAF 2 has two different sprites with wildly different hex codes, and I'm sure it's not the only example. The only time exact hex codes as opposed to simple color changes have been important as far as I recall is FNAF 4's ending, but even that's pretty easy to see if you're looking for it. I'd argue it's quite harder to spot the difference between these eyes, although they do seem slightly different!
The thing that really makes me think they're the same, though, is just their roles. I don't see a reason they would be different when they essentially do the same thing, guide the player through the Clock Ending. It just feels a bit weird for Golden Eyes to say "I will put you back together" and then just... not do anything 'till Happiest Day. I do see how Cassidy could make sense as Glitchbear, but they're only connected by Glitchbear being a Golden Bear, which... I mean, Adventure Fredbear also fits that description, and he's obviously not Cassidy. There's also the whole "puppet master" and "pulling the strings" thing, but it's admittedly not great evidence.
Overall, it is definitively possible for Glitchbear and Golden Eyes to be different, but ultimately, it wouldn't have much impact in the plot, which is why I didn't address the possibility for very long.

Nah, I had taken them directly from the games, with Glitch Fredbear's eyes lining up directly with the Cassidy from Princess Quest's hair colour, while the other does not.

I've seen similar images on Google, which is why I went into the games themselves and found the colours there.
Another example of two colours matching are Spring Bonnie's eyes from FNaF 3's minigames and FNaF 4's minigames.

Yeah, and his second sprite in FNaF 2 has the silver eyes caused by possession/corruption via agony, which is backed up by Jake noticing how smelly William's soul, with that smell being connected to agony possession in Animatronic Apocalypse, where it smells as bad as motor oil. And in Curse of Dreadbear's menu, there's a cage full of the Freddy's murder victims, with one distinct first victim which is corrupted by a purple glitch-
So, my working theory is, that his sprite changes so much as he's been corrupted by agony, rather than it just being inconsistent. Especially since a lot of things line up when you overlay the FNaF 2 Save Them map and the FNaF 3 Follow Me map, including the areas with black squares, the papers, and the red blood stains from Save Them are black in Follow Me.

I should also mention, the eyes have more differences than just colour, they're also a different amount of distance apart, have different proportions, and move like the puppet's eyes, which Glitch Fredbear's eyes do not. They also talk to us as seperate people.
And again, as Glitch Fredbear is Cassidy, and the ending eyes are Charlotte, it's kinda safe to assume they're different.

I don't really see Happiest Day as them "being put back together", but rather, them being put back together, including their memories, is what allows the other spirits to get their Happiest Day.

That said, I’m not sure the Princess connection really means anything. Off the top of my head, I can’t think of any other connection between her and Glitchbear other than possibly being Cassidy, so I imagine it’s just a coincidence seeing as… y’know, they’re both yellow/golden :p
That said, I’m not sure I understand why you believe Cassidy is definitively Glitchbear? I’m probably missing something, but the only connection I can think of is they’re both versions of Golden Freddy, which I don’t consider very strong.
I *do* think ‘putting the pieces back together’ is preparing Happiest Day, and not Happiest Day itself, sorry for the confusion. The thing is, my point stands about Charlie!Glitchbear. Golden Eyes is likely Charlie, and they say they will ‘put you back together’ at the beginning of FNAF World. But if Charlie isn’t Glitchbear, then what is she actually doing to put him back together? It seems weird for her to state that at the beginning and then dip, which is one of the main reasons I believe in Charlie!Glitchbear.

Crocodile head is also a reference to sobek which is egyptian god of fertility that also handled both death and burial, which makes sense since burying properly is a tradition made to let people move on to the afterlife.

We're told that the pieces are inside the box, FNaF World is represented by an open box in the source code, meaning the pieces have been put back together and have left the box, when the FNaF World Update 2 characters first appear on the FNaF World site, the source code says "He put the pieces back together", meaning, one of the FNaF World characters are the pieces of the Crying Child put back together, so my guess is that Nightmarionne is Crying Child put back together, with them both being given the nickname "baby", Crying Child matching Nightmarionne's pose in the sprite in Mangle's Quest, and them copying how the Fredbear plushies were used to spy on him when he was younger in Security Breach.
Plus they're both crying I guess, lol.

Fun Fact, there's a FNaF 6 Nightmarionne teaser called "Strings", and the Puppet Master is also known as "The Storyteller", which is a tree which appears in the Tales From The Pizzaplex series, and in FNaF 3, Nightmarionne is also represented as a dark tree.

Also, the "games" he's referring to aren't the Update 2 minigames, as completing them doesn't deactivate them, and you can beat the Rainbow without ever entering the minigames with Unscrew/Esc Key/Reapers.
Interesting take on the box! Definitively a possibility, with how vague it all is. Though I’m not sure about the Nightmarionne connection to that FNAF 3 thingy. For one, the FNAF 3 sprite is apparently “Shadow Puppet” as per the Encyclopedia (not great source, I know), not to mention Nightmarionne supposedly wasn’t canon in FNAF 4, and it also just feels strange to me to connect Nightmarionne with BV when he has very little to do with the actual Marionette.
Though, nice call on the tree thing. If it ends up being important and not just a coincidence, you’re a genius.
I know Adult theory was never true, but I actually don’t remember Scott saying Dream Theory was *never* true? Unless you mean the whole ‘only one minor retcon up to UCN’ thing he said in the Dawko interview, which I’ve always been unsure on how to interpret. The thing is, if it was never true, what the hell was the ‘Toy Chica missing her beak’ thing supposed to mean? Why wouldn’t the community accept ‘the pieces put together’ unless it led to something controversial like Dream Theory? It just seems weird.
Desk Guy as William *is* a possibility I missed, but I’m not sure how much it works. William (probably) doesn’t regret creating her, and he very much does not die by her hand.
And if the games aren’t the Update 2 ones, what are they? There is quite literally nothing else we do in FNAF World which could be construed as ‘deactivating the games’. Sure, they still work when you beat them, but keep in mind you’re apparently taking code from them to ‘save’ the characters. I actually couldn’t find anything conclusive about whether or not it’s possible to beat the Rainbow with Unscrew, but you would still realistically need Bubble Breath to do it, an Update 2 characters-only move. You’re very clearly meant to beat those games before getting the Desk Guy ending, and again, it’s the only thing he can be realistically referring to.
Also, William doesn’t make games, so… I still think it’s just the ‘puppet-master’ seen from a different perspective :p
the fnaf movie is original lore? where did u get that from? i dont remember that the original lore of the first game had a sister for the player that they took to the job, or that there was a security guard that shows up named vanessa....
fnaf movie is clearly its own telling of the story, not the actual fnaf lore of any games, just an adaptation to the rough story

The Vanessa in the movie (1993), is Vanessa Shelly, a completely different character who's older than the Vanessa we know in Security Breach. It's like how there's four Jeremy's, and none are the same character, they have different names.

About the time travel one, what if the clocks are like the glitch object but instead of moving through space it moves through time
A way to still interpret henry as deskman could be that as he was visionary engineers maybe william ask for his help to build baby without telling him all the things that it would do, then when he learned what happened his emotions manifested themself in the flipside or something along those lines
I guess the clocks being glitched objects for time could work, though of course it still depends on the time travel theory to be true, which… I frankly find a bit unlikely.
That’s an interesting interpretation of Desk Guy! It could definitively work like that, though you would still run into the issue of little evidence and the whole “my games” thing. Still a nice theory, thanks for sharing!

My only real problem is the claim that dream theory was at any point canon,as Scott deemed it ridiculous enough to lump in with theories like foxy is a good guy or purplephone during the April fools character ai descriptions in the build up to UCN

I think that desk man could be Scott in person and Animdude just his avatar like in real life, and desk man is the real person who created FNaF World, the Halloween Update and was about to create Sister Location and he felt the same way Scott felt in real life after the bad reception of FNaF World

I would say he was actually the living miserable memory of William Afton. William created fnaf world as a literal brain to repair the CC. William was also building robotic kids at the SL to suggest he used this place to work on his son. Update 2 could have been worked on in that secret office we found at fnaf SL and the greyman (WIlliam Afton) sat on this desk. William Afton was also the canonical creator of Baby.

Since Scott did say fk all with the dates, it is very likely (there is no evidence to corroborate this) that Afton game ended Charlie right after his (lowkey) favorite son got in an accident.

I absolutely LOVE your videos! For one, you pick super interesting topics tans types of topics not too many other theorizing channels would cover. For two, I really vibe with your style of thinking and the type of logic that you use. I feel like some channels are a bit underwhelming to me when they present their theories as “the truth” when it’s obviously not, so I appreciate your more nuanced takes, giving your opinion convincingly but being open of its flaws and other interpretations.
I wish I had a solid opinion on FNAF World, but I don’t. My initial thought is Scott retconning dream theory into virtual reality and the game actually being a game (like DDLC) theory, so as to make it more palatable while still keeping FNAF 1-3 as not fully real as originally intended. So, missing children’s incident occurs (maybe that’s what BV saw), and we get CharliePlush, and Happiest Day is kind of real, and most other events are real, but the universe itself is aware that it is made by Scott Cawthon. This explains Happiest Day’s weirdness, and maybe even the other mini games in FNAF 2 and 4 are made through similar means to the FNAF World world and the FNAF 3 mini games, but at this point Scott has introduced remnant and all that other worldbuilding stuff to relieve the need for the universe to be a meta video game, so I don’t know. I think people should look into FNAF World a bit more though… I think Scott thought we’d all jump on theorizing about it like we always did, but we didn’t, and its crucial lore was ignored (Scott said in the Dawko interview that he was taking for granted at the time that people would just play or theorize about anything he made, and that FNAF World was when he realized he needed to make games people cared about for that to happen, which is basically what happened with the us and the lore until very recently). Now it’s in a weird space of being half-cannon and maybe half-retconned over, or maybe it’s fully cannon and we’re all missing crucial elements, but either way, we should investigate it further.

Yeah, FNAF World is really complicated, and possible retcons have absolutely made the game a mess to analize. The fact that it has so much fluff that clearly means nothing is an issue, too, since it's harder to parse out what's important and what's not.
I like your interpretation, though! The minigames being an extension of what we see in FNAF World is definitively a possibility, and it's about as plausible as anything else surrounding FNAF World XD

@@Silent_N_ProductionsWelp, Security Breach Ruin gives an interesting spin on all of this! Some people compare the lake downstairs to OMC’s Lake even, though I’m not sure I’m convinced. It feels some aspects of modern lore is kind of a “retry” of FNAF World, and thus this game warrants a good look-over (who knows… maybe this game is more cannon than we think).
BTW, do you ever plan on uploading any more videos. You are my favorite theorist on FNAF, and while it would be a shame for you to never upload, and I have to thank you for everything you did make. You see Old Man Consequences as a guardian of the Afterlife? That's interesting, I always assumed because of how non aggressive he is as a jump-scare and how whenever he shows up there is nothing but the Lake to pass on by sinking into, he is actually a Psychopomp - an entity or God of Death that ushers souls into the Great Beyond. The fact that he is just sitting there fishing without ever catching anything means that what is in the lake couldn't be his real target - or perhaps hasn't entered in yet. Namely the player in both Fnaf World and Ultimate Custom Night are what he is after as a Fisher of Souls. His comments either tell the player there is nothing else and are trapped here now or suggests they rest their soul, with the only way to do that seemingly being the Lake itself.
That’s really interesting, too! A psychopomp could definitively work, since it’s a similar enough concept to Cerberus for the Man In Room 1280 connections to work. I can definitively see your angle, thanks for sharing!

Glitchy Fredbear could be William Afton as did pretend to be Fredbear for the sake of guiding and protecting his son. And... Nightmare Fredbear repeats William's fnaf4 lines in UCN to link the two together. "Put you back together"
Interesting! But I would find it weird if William was Glitchbear, with the whole "finding the clocks is a process for Happiest Day" thing. It just seems odd William would be doing that. And Night!Fredbears lines, I'm not sure you can use them to connect to FNAF World specifically. After all, the *Fredbear* plushie is present in the first instance of "I will put you back together", not to menton Golden Eyes/Charlie also says it, as well as Michael ("I put her back together") and Elizabeth ("I will put myself back together").

Also, when did Elizabeth said this line? If the Baby is mean, controlling, and we don't see see her on screen, she is an imposter (Funtime Foxy).
As for the clocks thing, Willaim Afton created the puppet and based it on his striped son, CC. The puppet also had William's remnant in it as it was alive and aware prior to Charlie's death.

Elizabeth says that in the source code dialogue between her and the rest of Ennard prior to the release of FFPS, the one where she gets ejected from Ennard. It can't be an imposter, because we know the one who says that line is the one who gets ejected from Ennard (it's clear if you look at the full conversation), and from FFPS we know for sure that's Elizabeth. And while you can explain away Michael saying it because he heard it from William, Elizabeth has to have come up with it on her own.
Overall, I think it's safe to say that "I will put you back together" and variations are just sort of a FNAF phrase, not related to any one character.
Your theory in the Puppet is pretty cool, I've never heard that before! Although I have to disagree as a firm Charlie!First believer, I think it's a good possibility from the BV!First perspective. Unfortunately, I can't really see much evidence for it, as it's never implied the Puppet is haunted by anything but Charlie, but that doesn't make it impossible.

William is pretending to be the plushy. And we do know that characters can change their colors depending on the circumstances, like a voice change or a personality change. The last line would be William Afton breaking his character.

You mean Susie/Funtime Foxy. Elizabeth herself wasn't a willing participant in SL and she didn't have a voice modifier in her parts to change her voice and pretend to be other people. Funtime Foxy was the one that did and she was the one who hidden your body in the night 4 chica suit. She replicated Baby's and Elizabeth's voices on night 4 and night 5 to manipulate you. People thought Funtime Foxy was the only character that didn't talk in SL, when she actually stolen the voices of characters we've already heard from and talked about the joys of pretending to be other people (a.k.a. Baby).

One of the posters on the walls of fnaf6 have William controlling a puppet that looks like himself. It's a massive hint that his own soul was controlling the puppet in the Security Puppet minigame.

Please soundmix the background music better..your video titles intrgue me but I never get a chance to see how truthful that lure is because of the poor sound editing. Again..nothing against your accent but it makes it hard to understnad what you are sayin and with the music being way too loud for something in the background while you talk, its just too hard to process what you are saying. It is VERY important that your vocals be clearly understandable if your entire video is just a verbal lecture. You shouldnt force the audience to try to decipher what you are saying through a bnch of added obsticles. You shoudl pick more approipriate music than the brash stuff you choose, turn the violume WAYYYY down in contrast to your own voice and edit any mic popping out. It would be great to support you by watching more rhan 30 seconds but im not getitng anything out of this uncomfortbale experience..
