I have been using exactly the same andes v3 jacket and pants in black for 2 summers now, tho with stock protectors. Also, just got that leather jacket and that is sweet!

Thank you for your comment brother, really appreciate the interaction. We only promote what absolutely works. I am really digging the leather jacket as well.

I’m thinking about buying the V4 rideknit jacket. Is it worth it? I currently own a V2 air mesh jacket and think it would be a good upgrade, but it’s significantly more expensive.

Also, does the abovementioned jacket come with a removable thermal liner?

Thank you for watching. I believe that it is worth the money, with how comfortable it is coupled with the build quality that is alpine stars. I was surprised that it does not come with a thermal liner. I upgraded to this one because I wanted a leather jacket without compromising comfort and maneuverability. They have a v4 version that is not rideknit which is about $200 cheaper and comes with a thermal liner www.alpinestars.com/products/t-gp-plus-r-v4-jacket
It will be heavier than the rideknit. My wife has the Stella version that is not ride knit and her jacket that is much smaller than mine is noticeably heavier.

@@TheDucatiDads Cool, I just ordered a 54, but unsure if it will be too tight. You look a bit more buff than me though. Belly keeps growing though!

I am 6’0 tall 210 lbs on a light day 51 inches shoulder and 42 chest and that put me at size 56. Something to keep in mind when looking at sizes is that you may want to go a little bigger in case you plan on riding with thick clothes on under the jacket like a hoodie, Or a vest. If you want to wear something thicker than that I would just wear it over the jacket.
