Amazing work thank you for sharing this , i also understand this kind of questions and feelings. I feel we are not alone in this planet with such passions and thinking processes , congratulations for your art
Also, very interesting how you twisted and made yours Butoh creating something new , which is the whole point of every art form I think … Hijikata or Ohno did that too on their times with their own marvelous dance and concepts, so your video has much merit and value at least for me
Butoh dislocates the mind and relocates the body...it is an essential art form that needs to be disseminated across the world! Thank you ...from Japanontology
I feel like this too , I think the whole world feels like this , but they hide it from themselves with very highly sophisticated developed techniques .

when someone forcefully tries to portray themselves as 'very intellectual' , or in other words, i am sure the people who like this thing would surely say "you won't get it, it is something really deep". Don't think people would really like Butoh dance. These people , especially in the art world, sell Bulls**t paintings, do dance like this , that really don't make any sense and just somehow they forcefully try to embed meaning into these things just to make themselves appear 'intellectual' or artsy kind of people.
Funny enough, you come off as some kind of pseudo intellectual critic with this comment, as though you have some deep insight into art and are above all the "intellectuals" out there, posers who "think they're so deep." Yeah, such a crowd does exist, and it's pretty lame. But also, sometimes, something like this just resonates with some people, and that really is all there is to it. I didn't try to embed anything into this. I just watched it and enjoyed it as a performance. Also, I didn't realize that art was about "making sense," whatever the hell that's supposed to mean.
Yes! i studied Butoh in highschool and fell in love with this art form. I’m always interested in finding modern takes on it so this was gold.
