Despite the premium pricing, both the MG 4 EV and MG ZS EV come packed with cutting-edge features, setting them apart from their limited competition in the market. Recall that Javed Afridi had boasted about the MG 4 EV's impressive capabilities, claiming it could achieve a mileage of 490 km and a full charge in just 35 minutes. While the actual performance might not hit those exact numbers, it still comes remarkably close. The MG 4 EV is available in two variants: the MG 4 EV Excite and MG 4 EV Essence, featuring 51 kWh and 64 kWh batteries, respectively. According to the specs, these vehicles offer an impressive range of 350 km and 450 km, along with the ability to charge from 10% to 80% in approximately 35 minutes-promising peace of mind for long journeys.
These vehicles boast an array of appealing features, including a 10.25″ touchscreen infotainment system, support for Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™, a wireless charging pad, and a sleek floating console. Safety is a top priority, with features like MG Pilot, Active Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Detection, Lane Change Assist, and a 360-degree camera.
In terms of pricing, the MG 4 EV Excite is available in Pakistan for Rs. 10,999,000, while the MG 4 EV Essence is priced at Rs. 12,990,000. Additionally, both models come with a 5-year warranty, up to 150,000 km, whichever comes first.
Moving on to the MG ZS EV, it also comes in two variants: MG ZS EV MCE Essence and MG ZS EV MCE Long Range. The key difference lies in the battery capacity, with the Essence variant featuring a 51.1 kWh battery offering a range of 320 km, while the Long Range variant boasts a 72.6 kWh battery that extends the range to 500 km. The MG ZS EV includes features like an 8” color touchscreen, support for Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™, surround sound audio, 17” alloy wheels, automatic headlights, roof rails, adjustable seats, and heating options. Safety features include Electronic Stability Programs and multiple airbags.
The MG ZS EV Essence is priced at Rs. 12,990,000, while the MG ZS EV Long Range is available for Rs. 14,999,000 in Pakistan. Both variants come with an 8-year warranty, up to Rs. 150,000 or its equivalent in kilometers, whichever comes first.
