As a primary side sleeper and my husband that's a combination sleeper, I am conflicted! In dire need of a new mattress, but so many options, and I terrified to once again wasting more than $1,000 and not finding relief. Glad I found this video though. Kinda narrowed it down for me. Thank you!
Hotel DuPont in Wilmington, which was not a chain until recently, had the most comfortable mattresses I’ve ever slept on in my life. Every time I stayed, every room I stayed in. Best nights sleep. I took the sheets off trying to find what kind it was.. no tag, no name. I even asked at the desk but no one seemed to know.
I can't think of any mattresses that blew my mind with its comfort, but I think the Nest Alexander Signature Hybrid would be my favorite since it has a plush option and I heard many great things about it.
I haven't slept a lot of hotels with mattresses that were worth remembering, but I actually LOVED the mattress I slept on at a Marriot in Minneapolis once. Some of the best sleep I've ever gotten.
Giveaway: I stayed at Westin and their bed was so comfortable. It had down pillows with on overstuffed duvet. I never slept so well in my life! I had the air conditioning cranked down to 65 degrees. 💨😴
Best Mattress are Sofitel, Marriott then 2nd pick is Embassy Suites and Hilton. In my Guest room . I got Layla and Nest Bedding in my guest room which not happy at all as mattress talks.
I’m soooo looking for an amazing rest!!! I truly have tried so many options. I’m throwing in the towel! Thank you for explaining the options since I have decided that perhaps, I should try a Hotel feel mattress 😊.
I bought and tried the winkbed. It never looked right from the moment it came out of the box. Customer service was no help, could feel the springs through the topper. Returning it.
I honestly don't remember the last hotel I stayed at and don't remember mattresses at any of them really. I did stay several weeks at a hostel in Quito Ecuador (Huasi). cheap mattress but I slept fine.
Awesome list! All these are on my wishlist. However the Winkbed is my top choice. I believe the Hyatt in Sea/Tac had the most accommodating mattress I've slept on in a hotel.
Palms Place, Las Vegas, NV ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ .. after staying there I contacted them and the European brand counterpart is Dunlopillo. They have various brand names though and not available everywhere. The mattress matrix is a pocket-spring with a 27cm/12” depth. What is often underestimated is the box base. Definitely go for a mattress base. Don’t fall for marketing, many brands manufacture at the same places and variations are mainly cosmetic. Most importantly go for depth and minimal foam, as it improves the bed climate and the life duration.
I have not been to a hotel in probably 20 years and most were garbage beds as they were not top of the line places to stay at. Two of these beds would interest me. I had not heard of the Nest Alexander Hybrid so that looks nice and might have to try it out.
I don’t travel much if I do i stay with family I wouldn’t be able to answer that question. The last two (that I actually remember)hotels I stayed in I didn’t sleep comfortably at all.
Giveaway Question: I stayed at The Four Seasons, Las Vegas. The mattress I slept in was to this day, the most comfortable and luxurious bed I have ever experienced. It was like sleeping 😴 on a cloud. I don’t recall the brand, it clearly was the very best bed I had ever slept on. Thank you for all the videos. I believe I may have selected a new mattress. The winner is Nest, Alexander Hybrid queen pillow top mattress. I have previewed several videos about this particular mattress and everyone says the same thing. How plush the pillow top mattress is. I like Sterns & Foster Lux Estate Cassatt Ultra Plush Pillow top mattress a bit more. However, the price point is nearly double the cost. So it will be Nest Alexander Hybrid queen for me…. Owen take care, stay well and keep the new videos coming. Good job guys and gals and have a great night. Thank you for the great content and all the mattress reviews. I had no idea there are so many mattress choices…
The Winkbed is awsome although Satvaa is a close 2nd. I'm not sure what hotels these two are in but whoever is sleon them I'm sure they are sleeping well. Both are very plush. The Holiday Inn Express has very good mattresses. Not sure if either is there though.
Giveaway: I don't travel very much, but when I do I tend to stay in Marriott hotels. They always have very comfortable mattresses, especially after a long day if you're on vacation!
Drury Inn King Size mattress in their king suit room can you review their mattress it is by Justice and can you compare the one closest to this brand that is available to us consumer. Thank you very much.
I could only imagine 5 star hotel .bed comfort. Microtel inn and suites in BFE had the best mattress I've ever slept on. I have so many hip and back problems. It's probably mediocre and my beds have just been such trash I don't really know genuine comfort
GIVEAWAY: This was years ago, but the hotel bed that took me to heaven for the night was the Heavenly Westin, which is a rare gem that they do actually offer online as a mattress you can purchase, this was at a Westin Hotel of coarse (makes sense right, lol) And out of the mattresses you displayed in this lineup, I'd have to say the Nest Alexander Hybrid is calling my name, though at some point in my mattress hunt, I have considered all of them. Great choices and picks for the luxury "hotel" mattress list! Good luck everyone..
Vacationed at a cabin in Tennessee years ago, the most comfortable bed I ever slept on- ever, firm, yet soft and cool, felt like I was floating on air. I wish I knew what kind of mattress it was.
Giveaway: I haven’t stayed in a motel in I’ve a year with the virus. The last hotel was the Marriott and had the best sleep ever. I’m a side sleeper. Getting ready to buy a mattress so reviewing all you videos. 💕
Giveaway: Honestly, I’m pretty picky...so I am yet to find a hotel mattress that I really liked. I’m a petite side sleeper and hotel mattresses are usually too firm for me.
Giveaway: i can’t really answer that since i don’t spend a lot of time at hotels, but i really like the Winkbed and Nest Alexander Hybrid, so if there are hotels with beds with a similar feel, thats where i would want to stay.
I have stayed at luxury to mid-level hotels. I have to say Holiday Inn Express mattresses have been consistently comfortable. I don’t care if the Holiday Inn was in a small rural town or near the airport of a major city. They have always been comfortable.
Giveaway : Never stayed at a hotel that I can recall had a mattress good enough to remember. But the hubby and I recently stayed at a Bed & Breakfast and the bed was very comfy. As for the mattresses mentioned, the Nolah sounds promising.
These mattresses are not ones that are in good hotels...I know the saatva mattress very well and could not recommend it especially if you are sensitive to motion, your partner will feel every move you make.
Exactly, that's why I clicked because I'm trying to find the bed from Double Tree, hubby was incredulous he never felt the bed move with my tossing and turning. 😅 Thx for this comment, will not be purchasing Saatva.

Courtyard Marriott - it was a hybrid and it was perfect.
I never stayed in a high end hotel but the Alexander hybrid plush looks really nice .

Hyatt Bellevue, WA as well. So far for me they have the best mattress. I wish I knew which brand they use.
What about being able to flip? I hate 1 sided only mattresses!
I haven’t slept in many hotels but when I stayed at a resort in Cancun it was pretty comfy 🙂
My favorite mattress away from home was at a Marriott in Crystal City, VA. Now, if I could only find a hotel that features Purple Hybrid Premier beds.

Marroitt has always had the best mattresses. Winkbed or Nest have my vote on this review :)
The last hotel we stayed at was The Hyatt Regency also and we found the mattress there to be very comfortable as well.
I remember the W Hotel having really comfortable beds!
I have not been to a hotel in probably 20 years and most were garbage beds as they were not top of the line places to stay at. Two of these beds would interest me. I had not heard of the Nest Alexander Hybrid so that looks nice and might have to try it out.

Which beds do Hampton hilton Hotel Edinburgh Airport use?
Last hotel bed I slept on was Kalahari Resort in Poconos; was comfy but not amazing from what I remember.
I don’t travel much if I do i stay with family I wouldn’t be able to answer that question. The last two (that I actually remember)hotels I stayed in I didn’t sleep comfortably at all.

The Four Seasons in Miami bed was so comfortable that I kept falling asleep even when I was not trying to fall asleep.

The Wyndham Desert Blue in Las Vegas had the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on.
I wonder if they have the same mattresses in the microtel by wyndham because that was the best bed I've ever slept on
Yes, the Wyndham timeshares that I’ve stayed in had the most comfy beds. I have scoliosis and I have the best sleep and wake up well rested.
I liked mattresses in Moevenpick El Gouna. Don't know the brand though. I suppose something local but comfy.
I like the Hilton hotels.
@Rizknows Hi. When did Winkbed replace the 2 inch microcoils with 2 layers of foam?
The best mattress that I've ever slept on was at the La Quinta Inn in central Texas.
Is your giveaway still running?
I could only imagine 5 star hotel .bed comfort. Microtel inn and suites in BFE had the best mattress I've ever slept on. I have so many hip and back problems.
It's probably mediocre and my beds have just been such trash I don't really know genuine comfort
I'm really not sure which hotel had my favorite mattress. I've only slept at cheaper hotels and haven't even been in a hotel in years.
I have the dreamcloud. Not good after 2 years
Great but do not like pillow top. I have a down toper I prefer... a good medium firm hybrid.
