Nice video, guys! Very helpful.
Educational and full of good comedy. Appreciate you.
Nice overall video guys! You have covered a lot of ground. Maybe one thing has been overlooked a bit. And that is line management while wading. Do you use any stripping baskets, line trays etc?
Wow that was helpful guys! I am planning my first ever salt water trip as I started just three years ago with fly fishing and will go to Maledives too or los roques. Not sure yet and it’s even as a very interested sweet water fly angler totally overwhelming what’s all going on and is different in the salt water game. So this video was very very helpful 🙏🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Done a few saltwater trips now, a mix of guided and DIY. Thanks for pointing out it can be tough, its easy to watch TH-cam vids and think you'll be pulling in 50lb fish every day. 👍
for sure
Great review guys.
Great video - do you guys not use stripping baskets? I was expecting you to use intermediate lines and stuff that would tangle on lava/coral/feet
What a informative and entertaining video!
What do you think about an aluminum suitcases (eg Rimowa) to put the simply sleeved rods into… is that durable or why do you use a soft duffel bag?
Thanks gor your thoughts ❤
What are those spools that hold the spare fly lines?
Love your work! Would love to hear your review of Shilton SR, is it better than the SL?
Specifically SL6 or SR9?
There are improvements, but I'll get them in in hand and make a vid 👍🏼
@@pierrejoubert394 can’t wait! That will be an awesome review
Good guys ...big worry is the chaffed inner thighs...what brand of tights do you recommend and should I take some anti chafing cream?
you should definitely take a can of nivea creme.. any tights will do
12wt isn't enjoyable to cast, 8wt is sufficient for giant trevally unless you heavily rely on rod power while fighting it.
