First I am eager to try this. Also Stephanie you are truly beautiful inside and out. Many years ago o went to school with a girl who was almost as beautiful as you (could be your sister), but sadly it went to her head and she was not kind. I love your disposition ma’am. God bless you and yours.
This is a keeper. Now what I would do cause I hate to waste anything, Take the juice and mix in powdered sugar til it is a drizzle stage and drizzle over top of your cake
Looks Delicious!!! It sort of is Similar to Hummingbird Cake. Why is Anyone questioning why she is cooking on top of her Stove? Its her kitchen and Maybe Thats What she Wants to Do. Do what Makes you Happy Stephanie. Again it Looks Delicious! God Bless You. 🤗👍👍👍🙏🙏
I just finished making it just the way you showed how to do it. I can’t wait to taste it. My husband and the kids are standing by waiting for it to cook
This recipe is pretty close to the Pineapple carrot bread recipe that a very dear lady gave me when i was a young girl learning how to cook and bake👩🍳🦩💗🩷🦩 I am Definitely going to bake this recipe over the weekend 👩🍳👌🏻😋💗🦩🩷👌🏻
I’m excited for you to try my recipe and let me know your thoughts. Your recipe sounds delicious. I have a pineapple carrot muffin recipe too and I wonder if it is similar. Time will tell…I will be making it in the next few weeks. 😊 Thanks for watching and I hope you have a blessed day!!!
This recipe was awesome! I used one cup of sugar and substituted bananas with ripe plantains! I added some walnuts and chocolate drops instead of the pineapple. Oh! What a delicacy! Thanks so much for this recipe!
I do hope you enjoy the recipe and think of your husband while you enjoy the banana bread. ☺️Thanks for watching and your sweet comment. Have a blessed weekend and a Happy New Year!!! 🎆
I’m so glad! 😊 Thank you for your feedback! Applesauce is generally a good substitute and using half the oil and half applesauce was a great way to adjust the calories and still maintain the recipe. Thanks again for your feedback! Have a blessed weekend!!!
Thanks for the recipe, My wife is making a regular recipe right now but i hope she will make the Hawaiian bread sometime soon because I love the sound of it and she always makes me what I like ,
The Hawaiian Banana Bread is delicious! It’s hard to beat the smell of banana bread baking and I’m sure your wife’s recipe is very good. Thanks for watching and your comment. Please let me know when you try the recipe what you think. Have a blessed weekend!
I made this about 3 weeks ago, and it was THE BEST! I shared with a friend, and she loved it too I have some in the oven now. Our church is going to be taking dinner and dessert to the shut-ins tonight. Thank you for sharing 😊
I just made this recipe.... sorta lol. We don't use cooking sprays because they are so unhealthy. However I used a silicone bread pan and used my own rendered lard. I halved this recipe as hubs and I don't eat a lot of sweets but we both love all things banana. I used brown sugar as i didn't have white sugar 🤦♀️. And I goofed on the pineapple measurements. That being said...... this is the best banana bread ever! It will definitely be my go to from now on 💚
The brown sugar probably was a great addition. 😊 I’m so glad you liked the video and yours turned out so well!!! I love all banana recipes too and have another great one coming soon! Stay tuned…Thanks for watching and I hope you both have a blessed evening!!! ☺️
I stuck to your original recipe. Baking now. It looks yummy! Thank you for sharing ‼️ Plan to use my pineapple juice to marinate some meat with teriyaki sauce ( It’s absolutely perfect for this ) Lived in Hawaii and miss my street food. Just plain rice, simple macaroni salad and this Teriyaki sauce. Thank you so very much !❤️ IT WAS WONDERFUL ‼️
Oh, I’m so glad you enjoyed the video! I’m sure your house smelled amazing while it was baking. 😊 Thanks for watching and I hope you have a blessed day! 😊
I think your recipes are great… my mother used to say if you can’t say anything nice don’t say anything at all 😉 if the recipe might be to much for just me I enjoy looking at your darling salt and pepper shakers ❤
I found your channel, and I am baking it right now. The only thing I didn't have was the pineapple. Will make it again with all the ingredients. Thank you so much for the recipe
I have not made this with an subscriptions. If you do use sugar substitute or almond flour please let me know. I would be interested to know how it turns out. Thanks for watching and I hope you have a blessed day!!!
Ill make this over the weekend, will swap out seed/rubber oil for either butter or avocado oil. Im excited. Was wondering if it'd be too sweet, but will keep the rest as is, might slightly reduce the sugar. Thanks!
My Son's favorite is Banana bread he'll be in for a pleasant 'twist' of a surprise this Saturday for he and his family are coming for dinner! Pineapple is his favorite fruit 😀 Thanks a bunch looks yummy. Blessing's
It is such a delicious recipe and so tasty. Perfect with a warm cup of coffee!!! So glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks for watching and I hope you have a blessed evening!!!
So glad you liked the video. 😊When you make it, please let me know what you and your family thinks. Thanks for watching and I hope you have a blessed weekend!
Already ate 1/4 of my first loaf off your great recipe I love it and will be happy to make it more offen as a treat, 😅😅😅😅😅😅 P.S both of them are very good and I've eaten them both in two days time to make some more.
Thanks for your feedback. I’m so happy you enjoyed the recipe and it turned out well for you and your family. This cake is perfect as a dessert, for breakfast, brunch, or a treat anytime of day. Thanks for watching and your feedback! Have a blessed evening and enjoy the remainder of the cake!!! 😊
I just put this in the oven. Will I need to keep this in the fridge or will it be okay to leave out on the bar? Smells delicious!!Thanks for the recipe!!👍😊
I leave it out in the counter. However, it doesn’t last long enough for anything to spoil. We usually eat it in a day or two at the most. Thanks for watching and your comment. I hope you have a blessed evening!!!
Add a cup of coconut to the recipe.. Instead of the pecans use raisins... You'll love it. I made Hawaiian Banana bread and used butter instead of oil, plus coconut, and raisins.... with no nuts. When summer gets here or once it gets up to over 75 here at home, I will make it using extra virgin unrefine coconut oil.. (I keep my apartment at 65 degrees so if I used coconut oil I would have a pretty stiff banana bread using coconut oil, since coconut oil is solid and hard below 75 degrees.)
I’m so glad you liked it!!! This is super for a dessert, breakfast, or brunch; just delicious! Thanks so much for the update! Enjoy every bite and have a blessed weekend!!! 😊
I tried the recipe but just put 1 cup of sugar and added a few tablespoons of pineapple juice and it came out awesome! Thanks for sharing this recipe 🙏🍞🍌♥️💯✅
I’m so glad you liked it!!! Thanks for sharing your experience. Im sure the pineapple juice added to the flavor and I know it’s delicious. Enjoy a slice for me 😋 Have a blessed day!!!
That would be a nice addition. My family usually likes it plain but will try this out next time I make it for them. Thanks for watching and your comment. I hope you have a blessed evening! 😊
Insane amount of oil, Overkill on the sugar as well. I do like the ingredient of pineapple, Thank you for this original twist! I shall experiment by decreasing the oil by half and adding a little of the juice from the pineapple to give this gem the moisture that it deserves without the high fat calories from the oil. 🍌 🍍❤
Agree @yvonnegeorge9034 - insane amount of oil: 3/4 cup would be plenty. The finished product wasn’t really moist: it was unpleasantly oily/squishy and I threw most of it out. Such a disappointment. Reducing the oil, and not draining the pineapple would give a much more pleasant product. Very disappointed with this recipe.
I have been making this for over 20++ years and it’s the best banana bread recipe. It takes a regular banana bread and just elevates the result. It’s super moist and just delicious; the perfect sweet bread to enjoy year round. 😊 Please let me know what you and your family thinks when you make it. Thanks for watching! I bet that was a delicious substitution! So glad you enjoyed the recipe; it’s a delicious and very easy cake/sweet bread. Perfect with a cup of coffee ☕️
That’s awesome! Please let me know what you and your family think of the recipe. Thanks for watching and your comment. Have a blessed evening and a Merry Christmas! 🎄
You forgot to mention the eggs I would assume there blended into the wer😊. Trying it tomorrow. I have silicone loafs which I'll use on a baking sheet. Can wait ,looks delish!
Oh, my. I just went back and checked the video. When I watched eggs are added at about the 4:39 minute mark into the video. For this video, I also added text on the screen of each measurement/item; eggs are listed too right after they were added. If ever in doubt, full recipes are listed in the video description. Thanks for your comment and I hope you have a blessed day! 😊
Thank you for sharing sure looks good All the videos I have watched lately can't figure out why everyone is mixing the ingredients on the stove top? Wouldn't it be easier on the counter
I’m glad you liked the video. I can’t speak for others, but I film there (on the stove area) to help viewers see better and reduce movement. In real life, I’m all over the kitchen. Not in a concentrated area. Thanks for your question; have a blessed day!
Agree!! If people don't like the recipe, then here's a thought: Don't make it then! Some of us like to enjoy our food, including sweets in moderation. My mother-in-law loved sweets, and she put sugar in everything. Sadly, she died so young because of eating all that poisonous sugar. She was only 98 years old, poor thing.
@@kathleenstoin671lol I’m like adjust it and THEN post what you did and how it turned out not what you want to do. Also it’s dessert not the health channel. Lastly, life is so short, eat a bit less after your salad. It looks crazy great!
Depending on your oven, it would probably take about 1-hour. However, I would start checking it approaching the hour mark and cover the top (with foil loosely) if it starts to brown. When a long skewer inserted into the middle comes out clean, it will be done. It slices beautifully and I know your guests will love it! 🥰 Thanks for watching and your question. Have a blessed weekend.
This is one of my most favorite banana bread recipes and tidbits would be perfect too! I love the subtle flavor it adds and it is just perfect for a snack, breakfast, or as a dessert. Thanks for watching and I’m glad you have enjoyed this delicious recipe as much as I have through the years. Have a blessed weekend! 😊
Applesauce generally does substitute well for oil. I have not tried it specifically with this but it should work fine. Thanks for watching and your question. Have a blessed evening!!!
You could also make this in a loaf pan. I have done this several times and it works well. Thanks for watching and your question. Have a blessed evening!!!
Adding shredded coconut sounds delicious! Maybe about 1/2 cup or less - depending on your personal preference. Please let me know how it turns out. Thanks for watching and your question. Have a blessed day!
The taste is so good but my loaf burned on the bottom. Could it be that I used an older black loaf pant? I checked for doneness and it took 65 minutes..was that too long
Made exactly as you listed. Came out very oily and fell apart when removing from pan. It is good but had to eat with spoon. Going to try again and cut down on oil.
Believe it or not, it’s not overly sweet. However, feel free to reduce the sugar to your liking. Thanks for watching and your comment. Have a blessed weekend!
I agree, especially with the ripe bananas and the pineapple. Everyone has different levels of sweetness they prefer. I gauge the amount of sugar I use when making banana bread with how ripe the bananas are.
I have not used any other types of flour in this recipe. However, I think (you may want to check me on this) almond flour generally substitutes 1:1 in most recipes. The texture may be slightly different but I hope this helps. Thanks for your question; have a blessed day.
Try Victorias Keto Kitchen Flour 2.0, you have to buy ingredients to make it. I use it to replace all flour wen baking. I also use allulose for sugar replacement in baked goods, it measures, bakes & tastes like sugar. This way the recipe has few carbs. Ive made regular banana bread this way & it came out awesome.
yum! I would add some coconut in there ..

My recipe is similar. I use pineapple tidbits instead of crushed.: they’re little surprises like the pecans.
Could some applesauce be used for oil?
Applesauce generally does substitute well for oil. I have not tried it specifically with this but it should work fine. Thanks for watching and your question. Have a blessed evening!!!
If regular bundt pan is used, what other p a n is good?
You could also make this in a loaf pan. I have done this several times and it works well. Thanks for watching and your question. Have a blessed evening!!!
Im going to make this now. If i add coconut how much do i add
I checked for doneness and it took 65 minutes..was that too long
Since all ovens cook different, you may want to cut the time back about 10 minutes. However, I know it was delicious 😋
I was thinking if I used one cup of oil and a half cup of butter will I mess up the recipe or will it still be good and turn out all right ?
Made exactly as you listed. Came out very oily and fell apart when removing from pan. It is good but had to eat with spoon. Going to try again and cut down on oil.
Yummmmy ! ❤❤❤❤❤
So glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks for watching and I hope you have a blessed weekend!!!
2 cups of sugar and 2 cups of ripebanana.. will be too sweet i think
Yes it would be
I make this as well, but don't use the Hawaiian label. I also add a pinch cloves as well. Too funny, I have the same stove/oven - but GAS!
Sounds like a hummingbird cake
New sub! 😋👍
Good morning Stephanie can I use other kind of flour for the Hawaiian bread ?
@proudgrandma138 Thanks for the tips!
I made the bread yesterday. 2 cups sugar is far too much. I used 11\4 cups sugar and it was too sweet but the flavor and texture was very good.
Glad you liked it and was able to modify the sugar to your taste. Have a blessed day!
Try using allulose instead of the sugar. It measures like sugar, bakes like sugar & tastes like sugar but the calories. I use it wen baking goods.
@proudgrandma138 I will have to give it a try. 😊
Yum
It’s a good one! Thanks for watching and I hope you have a blessed day!!!
Use half oil and half unsweetened apple sauce.
How can I get the recipe for this bread Hawaiian
