24 days after I started using my V8 the front inner tube got a leak. I replaced it with the provided spare inner tube. Two days later that one leaked. I then ordered the Honeycomb tires to replace them. However, 22 days after I starting using my V8 I began having issues with the floorboard battery. It isn't working at all. Currently in talks with TurboAnt customer service trying to resolve this. This scooter isn't cheap in cost. Also, in about 20 days of riding, the front tire ONLY, went bald. Now, I commute an average of 15 miles / 24 km a day, six days a week. This is a commuter scooter, isn't it? Tire shouldn't have gone bald. Otherwise, when both batteries are operating properly I have no issue with having enough charge to make my daily commute. I also have the X7 Pro and it seems simpler may be better. I had less issues with the X7 Pro, but "upgraded" to the V8 for dual batteries. This is just my situation and it may just be my luck.
How do you lock it up for when you go in a store? One of these would have been amazing for me and my friends back in 2003 down in Marathon FL. We coulda spent half the day cruisin' round the island. Woulda been lit!
Same thing I would do with a bike. Use one of my locks and secure it to something sturdy and in a area with a lot of traffic going on. At the end of the day that’s the best you can do.
I see them downtown in my area ( Ontario Canada ) they move as fast as a car. I’m like my god. They move so smoothly on the road

Jeremy isn’t wrong in that these electric scooters and bikes will give you the feeling of the most freedom you’ve ever had. You can cover several miles with minimal effort, I can’t describe the feeling in a way that does it justice. You have to try one of these things at least once in your life. I started out with small electric razor scooters, went up to a 500 watt Zooma scooter. Then I graduated up to a belt drive 2 stroke Bladez Moby scooter. Then several years later I built my own 2 stroke bike with a manual 1 speed clutch using a kit and a old mountain bike that was going to be trash because the gears were fried. I’ve probably put 1000 miles on that bike, it’s loud and I miss the silence of getting around electric, I want to do it on a e-bike though. I’ve never owned one before, they are SIGNIFICANTLY MORE EXPENSIVE then any of the vehicles I just mentioned. It’s hard to make the jump. I really want to be able to sit on ass on a e-bike and cover serious ground in silence, that cost tho?!
Yep. They really do bruh. It's something when you're on these bikes and other things you feel more attached to nature as well. In a car you're just in your own bubble going from point A to point B not really paying attention to the things around you. Combine that with little maintenance, no insurance, tags, or gas needed? They are fun as heck to use lol
@@TheGamer2323 the only reason I don’t just get a scooter which is way cheaper then a e-bike is my knees can’t handle all that weight and g forces over bumps and uneven terrain anymore, it’s way more work for my joints compared to covering that same distance on a bike. In the Pacific Northwest it rains often so the roads and sidewalks are rarely smooth. If I had some gym floors to ride on maybe I’d be looking at a scooter, lol, that’s what it would take.

I looked up the range that this goes. So apparently this goes 10-15 miles range. I don't know if that's good for a scooter but the Elec bike that also goes 20 mph, that has a range of 50 before you start charging the battery. This also goes on the streets & bike paths. You said you run errands with your scooter. What kind of errands & isn't it more tiring cuz you have the back pack on you?
It has 2 dual 7.5ah batteries so I’ve gotten pretty far out while riding this around. Where did you get the 10-15 miles from? The site says 50 miles max range (granted) if you’re not going full speed 24/7 and how you use it lol. I was using this on multiple rides before I even had to charge it up again tho but again I don’t be going full throttle all the time.
Errands like picking up groceries, going to the store for little items. You’d be surprised how much stuff you can fit in a good backpack m. And nah… backpack isn’t tiring. If you’re out like all day on a bike or something then it could be tho

I got a Jenson bike. It's terrible. So I bought it for 260 American. From the info I read on this it goes a max speed of 15 mph with a range of 15 miles or 30 if you use pedal assist. I don't use pedal assist so 15 miles which isn't far at all.
I bought it because I had a regular bike & I don't like pedaling anymore since I drive a car. The bike is a better replacement than any bike you pedal, but I wanted to go at least around like few districts that I go to, & you can't with this because it goes to slow & not far at all. It's only good to ride around the few blocks near your house.
I will get an electric bike that goes 20 mph & 50 mile range. I know those cost like $1200 American. For me it's mainly for an option of using the bike when I can't drive my car.

I prefer the electric bike that go this speed of 20 mph. You could put a rack in the back so when you do groceries or just pick up food at a said restaurant, you put it in a bag it's on the rack making you hands free.

i was using mine today, trying to sell my SUV, i don't have the $ and need to carry all that much lol.
mine's a YYD ROBO and haven't had a single issue since early 2021, I haven't noticed an odometer on it but I've prob driven it over 200 miles (11m/charge) and that thing goes 16 miles first gear, 20-30 mph second gear, there's scooters out there going 40-65+ mph it's crazy and scary lol. i just want to try them and see what's worth keeping sometimes. long distance and high speeds is appealing... but one of these on the highway? it'd be a bit scary ngl lol.

hmmm just remembered like one issue.. some rear plastic thing must've fell apart with a reflector of some kind, not available on amazon anymore apaprently and there's better looking choices now but that's all lol didn't look too necessary, comes with all in this video cept it was less techy.
though all in all, while I'd love a scooter, I'm aiming towards a motorcycle lol, one that can lift a decent cargo / passenger, don't see these things doing it, but if it's possible to have a pizza delivery job in the city, this would be a priority vehicle, maybe one with a seat/trunk thingy.
