TESLA SMART SUMMON, Does It Actually Work?

- In the latest Tesla update, you are able to unlock the autopilot package with a subscription as opposed to paying a $10,000 lump sum. Included in the package is the SUMMON feature. So today Im putting this Summon feature to the test. Does it even work????? Watch now.

I wish this feature was on other electric cars cause this is super handy for someone like me who’s disabled. I wish there were accessibility options for cars in general but definitely a cool feature when it works 🙂
I agree and with time I think it will fine tuned and geared towards our needs. That is a great point and I hope they pay attention to that. That can be a major help for people with disabilities.
@@WillowMint I sincerely hope so, because it really is a huge feature that could go a long way. It would make getting groceries a lot easier. It's good to have delivery apps but being able to get things more tailored to my needs would help a lot more. Yeah it would be awesome to see this feature come to more of the car market :D I'd probably get one at that point if the price was right.

For parallel parking, you should start trying to park, and then the car knows.
I tried since then and unfortunately we only got it to work once and after that it didn’t. So strange.
for experiment number 4 it follows the same rules as flying a drone which is part 107 the user must be within 100 meters of the drone basically you are in a drone not a car lol

LOL smart smart doesn’t see stop signs road lines It’s whole purpose is to get to you. What I’m saying is it is a different piece of code so the code doesn’t have all the rules of the road so I just tries to navigate to you without hitting anything. I really hope he improves it
It really should at least see the stop sign, especially when you can see the stop sign on the screen in the car. The lines are understandable because the parking lot is not a road. As times goes I’m sure it will improve.
No such thing as a stop sign in a private parking lot. FYI, you don’t have to stop either. There zero enforceable “road” signs on private property.
Most important thing in these parking lots is that it sees people and vehicles/carts

@@WillowMint I'm thinking of buying tesla but unless it goes up better off doing monthly imo. It will take 4 years and 2 months to get to the 10k
Plus you can cancel at any time so if you want to have it one month and not the next, it’s flexible.
